Egypt has allowed a shipment of construction materials to enter the Gaza Strip from its territory for the first time since 2007.
A convoy of trucks carrying thousands of tonnes of supplies donated by the Gulf state of Qatar entered Gaza via the Rafah border crossing on Saturday.
Egypt had previously followed import restrictions imposed by Israel.
However, Israel has eased its blockade as part of last month’s ceasefire deal with the Islamist group Hamas.
Many goods are smuggled from Egypt through a network of underground tunnels into Gaza, which is governed by Hamas.
An Egyptian security official quoted by AP news agency said the shipment had been made in consultation with Israeli officials who were in Cairo on Thursday.
Qatar has pledged more than USD 400 million to finance reconstruction in Gaza and improve crumbling housing, schools, a hospital and roads.
A Hamas official said it was a positive step.
“We hope that Egypt will open this crossing permanently for goods so our people can meet their needs,” said Ehab al-Ghsain, head of the Hamas government’s media office.

There are an increasingly number of Israelis who do no longer buy the rhetoric of Benjamin Netanyahu.
After the Hamas was permitted to send 1.500 rockets into Israel, there seems to have been signed a corrupt and deceptive “cease fire agreement”.
The Hamas has been permitted to re-group and rearm, even to receive shipment of “building materials” from the Muslim Brotherhood, surely to be used for the production of more rockets.
The Israeli electorate is moving towards a party that stand on a not compromised Zionism, Bayit Yehudi. Netanyahu lead Likud party seems to have compromised on their Zionism, and are willing to hand large parts of the Mountains of Zion over to the enemy.

The latest trigger for Likud Beytenu’s free fall was Netanyahu and other Likud leaders attacking Bayit Yehudi leader Naftali Bennett for saying his conscience would not permit him, as a reserve soldier, to evacuate Jews from their homes in Judea and Samaria. The Right saw the attacks as excessive and as opening fire on a political ally inside the right-wing bloc.

This kind of events are alarming.
Because most of Evangelical Christian friends of Israel are strong supporters of Netanyahu. Not realizing that “Bibi” him self seems to have left his fully Zionist convictions, and are ready to give up large parts of the districts of Judea and Samaria for the sake of a Obama promoted “peace-plan”.
The betrayal of Zionism is also a betrayal against the Messiah. Because it is Jesus the Messiah who have re birthed Israel, and kept her safe through all the wars since 1948.
The spiritual logic of darkness is that when the Hamas has enough rockets that can strike Tel Aviv, and the IDF not permitted to remove them, Israel will be “wise” signing a “lasting peace agreement”.
Jerusalem will not be divided with a Berlin-wall, but a new “special regime” will be in charge, bringing “peace” to the city.
In the end, a wicked and blasphemous regime shall rule in Jerusalem. It will be the seat of the very center of the last and final anti-Messiah, hailed by millions of supporters.
