Geert Wilders acquitted of anti-Muslim charges

One of the most powerful and popular politicians in the Netherlands, was accused of inciting hatred and discrimination against Muslims.

A Dutch court acquitted populist politician Geert Wilders of hate speech and discrimination Thursday, ruling that his anti-Islam statements, while offensive to many Muslims, fell within the bounds of legitimate political debate.

Presiding judge Marcel van Oosten said Wilders’ claims that Islam is violent by nature, and his calls to halt Muslim immigration and ban the Muslim holy book, the Koran, must be seen in a wider context of debate over immigration policy.

Wilders, one of the most powerful and popular politicians in the Netherlands, was accused of inciting hatred and discrimination against Muslims through numerous public statements, and with insulting them by comparing Islam with Nazism.

My comment:

The court order in Holland is a great victory on many fronts. First and foremost for freedom of speech.

Second: It is still permitted in Holland to tell the truth about Islam.

When Geert Wilders explains that Islam is violent by nature, he express what must be obvious to all who can see the events in the Arabian Word. Muslims slaughtering Muslims in the name of “allah”. The instruction to cripple and kill, they all have got from the Koran.

There are more than 140 verses in the Koran that promotes hate and violence against those who do not submit to Islam. This is one of them:

«The just retribution for those who fight God (Allah) and His messenger (Muhammad), and commit horrendous crimes, is to be killed, or crucified, or to have their hands and feet cut off on alternate sides, or to be banished from the land. This is to humiliate them in this life, then they suffer a far worse retribution in the Hereafter».

To compare Islam and Nazism, is also correct. Both these religious movements are based on Jew-hate. In the years 1941 to 1945 they worked closely together. The grand Mufti of Jerusalem supported Hitler. The two of them wanted to get rid of the “Jewish problem”. To day neo-Nazis and radical Islam has formed fresh alliances in a bid to get rid of the state of Israel.
