Sexual abuse of children reached all parts of Belgium’s Roman Catholic Church, and it drove at least 13 victims to kill themselves.
In some cases, the abuse started when victims were very young. One victim was 2 years old, five were 4 years old, eight were 5, seven were 6, and 10 were 7.
The report, put forth by a commission established by the church itself, sketched the harrowing dimensions of priestly abuse over five decades, listing cases involving 327 male complainants and 161 women, and 19 cases in which the gender of the victim was unclear. In one case the abuse began when a child was just 2 years old.
The report was the latest blow to a church reeling from a sexual scandal that worsened after the bishop of Bruges, Roger Vangheluwe, resigned in April after admitting that he had abused a boy who was later identified as his nephew.
The resignation prompted more than 200 victims to come forward within a few days with complaints about abuses by priests, in some cases dating back many decades. One complainant is more than 90 years old.

The “Holy Roman Catholic Church” does not look very holy any longer.
The claimed to be Holy Father him self seems to have been doing a lot of cover ups, of sexual abuses of homosexual and even pedophile priests.
Let me underline that there are a lot of Catholic priest that are not perverts. Many are good persons, and quite a few of them has started to secretly guide their faithful not to believe Papal dogmas that is not inline with the Bible.
But Vatican rules and regulations have indeed made this “Church” into a dent of criminal and perverts. When the Vatican ban their priests to marry, this kind of cannon law is mention specifically in the Bible as wickedness, things taught by demons. The marriage ban makes the Catholics hail perverts as “holy fathers” in cities and villages.

The spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.
Will the Roman Catholics ever wake up, and realize that they attend masses in a “House of demons”?

It is so sad, really sad. These poor children. A huge fraction of the priesthood is gay. I had a friend-priest who told me he was gay. He also said the Catholic seminary was NOT holy, nor “sweetness and light”..he was referring to the gay sex going on in the seminary.
You can not even be a Rabbi unless you are married, so sacred and holy is marriage. I am sure some people have the gift of celibacy..but it should not be forced. The church has a lot of real estate, and if priests were married, their children would inherit their properties and assets..this is one of the major reasons for celibacy i think.

Thanks for this comment. I can not confirm you message of “a huge fraction” of Catholic priests being gay. But I have no reason to doubt your knowledge. What I can say, is that the Catholic priesthood is like a flypaper on homosexuals. To be in unity with only men, who are banned from marry women. Obviously, that is not an attractive place to be for heterosexual men.
That this Church is full of alter boys, who spend many hours a week with homosexual priest, will obviously be the perfect arena for sexual abuse.
If fail to understand, why millions of Roman Catholics is not able to see this, and start attending Churches that follows the instructions in the Bible. For their own good, and ultimately to escape the fire of Hell. Because there can be no excuse for all Catholics. By their very presence in Catholic masses, they support this criminal activity.

You are right saying that there are many well intentioned priests as well, and I don’t want to say that all priests are gay as that is totally not true.
I do have another good friend who tried to be a priest and went to a seminary to join. They actually turned him away for NOT being gay, and told him they thought gay men make better priests. Needless to say, my friend was shocked and did not enter the priesthood, but later married.
When I was catholic, we stopped giving money to the archdiocese because we knew that money was going to the lawsuit payouts. We kept going to church because we were told if we didn’t we would be in mortal sin. This is what keeps Catholics going to church and they believe if they “get their points in” by going to Mass, they will be saved.

The gospel of salvation by faith and works, creates a need for a measurement system. How much faith is needed to enter the Kingdom of Heaven?
How much of the blood of Jesus, do I need to drink?
And where God do no longer keeps any records of our sins, the Catholic priest keeps the records, and makes money for the Pontiff. As more sins a Catholic commits, as better for the Church. A lot of penance will be needed. And at least 100 remembrance masses to push the sinner through Purgatory.
I feel very bad for these children who suffered such hurt. And the fact that now they have chosen to take their lives, is truly heart breaking.
