Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Iran of trying to «stir up» a war between Israel and Syria.
This statement by the PM came during a tour of the northern border area on Tuesday. Speaking during a visit to the IDF’s Northern Command this afternoon, Netanyahu said Iran was «spreading lies in order to escalate tensions»…
We want security, stability and peace. Israel has no intention of attacking its neighbors, contrary to false rumors which have been spread on the subject. Netanyahu also reiterated that Israel was «ready to enter peace talks with Syria without preconditions, just like we are d oing now with the Palestinians».
Netanyahu was accompanied by IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi and OC Northern Command Gadi Eizencott while viewing a military exercise, which Ashkenazi was at pains to stress was just a «routine drill» and not meant as a message «to anyone».
Meantime, a recent report in TIME Magazine claims Hizbullah fighters feel good about their chances against Israel in a future conflict and are eager to engage the IDF in battle. «Recent conversations with Hizbullah fighters reveal an organization at the peak of its military powers, with an army of well-trained, disciplined and highly motivated combatants wielding advanced weaponry, cultivating new tactics and brimming with confidence», the article states.

My comment:
The Lebanese people are victims of the ongoing Islamic war on Israel, with Iran and Syria as the main promoters.
During the second Lebanon war, both Jews and Israeli Arabs in the Galilee were killed. Rockets fired by HizbÁllah do not spare Muslims living inside Israel. They are seen by Radical Islam as traitors.
The rockets from Lebanon can now reach Tel Aviv. This is a threat that Israel has to remove. The IDF will soon have to make a preemptive strike on HizbÀllah. If the Israeli army waits, thousands of innocent Jews will be killed in what looks to be an inevitable war looming at the Northern front.
And if HizbÁllah returns fire, Israel has promised to bomb Syria who has provided the Islamic terrorist organization with rockets. There seems to be a regional war in the Middle East in the pipeline.
