A fundamentalist Islamic dream for Israel

Weekend comment by Mike Adams.

«Israel must disappear from the map»  This is a statement made by Ahmed Yassin, the founding father of Hamas.

Israel is the land of dreams. Israel is especially the dream factory of the world’s ecologists. Migratory birds travelling from north to south have got into the act and have made God’s Paradise their own favourite winter destination.

As a matter of fact, the planting of tens of thousands of trees has made Israel greener and therefore more attractive for both man and beast, including our feathered friends.

Talking of greenness, Islam considers green a holy colour. Israel’s neighbours, the Arabs, see Islamic Palestine as lush, but at the same time becoming overtly Jewish. To them it’s all an abomination. Their vision for this small, knife-shaped country on the eastern seaboard of the Mediterranean is the stuff of nightmares.

Based upon his most infamous utterances, I’ve tried imagining what Ahmed Yassin, the deceased founder and spiritual leader for Hamas, would’ve liked to have seen if he had been alive today.

Israel  «must disappear from the map» (Ahmed Yassin).

Let’s try to conjure up a picture of moonscapes and ghost cities from the Golan Heights in the north to Eilat in the south; forests burnt to cinder, farming areas full of gaping craters, and impassable roads potholed by bombs and mortars. Tel Aviv, for example, would appear as a modern day version of bombed-out Dresden blasted to pieces by Iranian-made rockets.

Holy war «Is an obligation of all Muslims, men and women» (Ahmed Yassin).

Six years ago this January, one of Yassin’s protégées, Reem Salah al-Rayashi, 21, the mother of two small children, made the following statement shortly before blowing herself up at the Erez Crossing to the north of the Gaza Strip, killing two soldiers, a border policeman, a security guard, and wounding ten other people: “I’ve always wanted to be a woman who conducts a martyrdom operation whereby parts of my body fly around”.

Let’s multiply her ghoulish vision by the many hundreds. These Jihad soldiers become suicide bombers littering Israel with their mortal remains. It’s an apocalyptic scene with no one from Zaka to clean up the mess. All the Israeli Jews are either dead or have fled the country. No IDF. Judenrein at last.

Palestine is an Islamic land «consecrated for future Muslim generations until Judgment Day» (Ahmed Yassin).

Let’s try to envision that the entire infrastructure of Israel, all that makes up the industrial economy of The Holy Land, raised to the ground.
Islamic Palestine will obviously rid herself of all the tell-tale signs of Jewishness, from the kibbutzim to the synagogues. All Hebrew cities and towns totally obliterated. With one major exception, of course – Al-Quds, the Arab Jerusalem. The Arabs will take siege of Israel’s capital destroying everything not expedient or worthy of Islam’s third most holy site. It’s got to be made ready for the Beast or Mahdi as he is known by Allah’s followers.

«We chose this road, and will end with martyrdom or victory» (Ahmed Yassin).

This oft repeated mantra among Palestinians will lead them to an absurd dead end reminiscent of where they came from – the dry, dusty and desolate wastelands where flying demons roam.
