Regina Birkehorn do not believe in a personal God, neither in Jesus. But she became an Army priest in the Lutheran Kingdom of Sweden.
She believe in the divine energy and healing power of certain stones, and took her «priestess» education in Beloved Community i Oregon, USA. Still Regina Birkehorn (46) became a pastor in the army in he supposed to be Christian Lutheran Kingdom of Sweden.
– When I saw that the Swedish Home defense advertised a vacancy as army Pastor i submitted my application. That I was not a Christian was no problem. I have been very well received in the armed forces, explains Birkehorn.
Army priest Sten Elmberg is responsible for the relationship between the Church of Sweden and the Swedish armed forces. He downplays the importance of having Christians as pastors.
– Its not our duty to me missionaries, but to try to meet them and look after their special personal needs. Sweden is now a multicultural society. We have both Moslems, Hindus, Buddhists and Jews in our armed forces, explains Elmberg.

To have army Pastors who do not believe in God, is like having soldiers who do not believe in the army. You will get headless chicken.
To have a Christian Church who say that priests do not have to believe in Jesus, is like trying to keep flying an airplane that just lost its engine. Its going to crash very badly.
Jesus is surely not very impressed with Sten Elmberg:

We are only looking for chaplain with a confession in God. But we are even open for other religions, if we gor officers and soldier with a such a belief. We are not looking for unbeliever as chaplains.
I and my chaplains today, are called to be a voice for a christian belief and christianity living. That the reason why we can´t accept any kind of heretic way of faith.
