– Since its no longer a crime to burn the Norwegian flag, why should we Muslims have to swear an oath to the flag?
The man who asks is Abid Q. Raja, a politician for «Venstre», the Liberal party of Norway.
His statement, has got Akhtar Chaudhry, a Socialist Muslim member of the Norwegian Parliament, to react:
« All who wants to become citizens of Norway, should swear an oath to the Norwegian flag and constitution, claims Chaudhry.
The Norwegian flag has a Christian cross in its center. The Norwegian Constitution claims that Norway is a Lutheran Christian Kingdom.

Its interesting that two Muslim politicians in Norway disagree on this. In Israel, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman have suggested a similar oath.
For this political demand, many have branded him both a Racist and a Facsist.
Since the Jewish Majority in Israel is accustomed to supporters of Radical Islam burning the Israeli flag, it would be nothing but fair that Norway sooner than later, start tasting its own medicine.
The Norwegian government have paid handsomely to build up the Palestinian authorities in Judea and Samaria, who support people who burns Israeli flags as part of their «struggle for freedom». Norwegians will soon discover that a Global Intifada will make no distinctions between Haifa and Oslo.
