China’s coast has been hit by a massive algae growth, officials say, with vast waves of green washing onto the shores of the Yellow Sea.

Pictures on Thursday showed beachgoers swimming and playing in the green tide in the eastern city of Qingdao, while bulldozers shovelled up tonnes of algae from the sand.

The State Oceanic Administration said on its website the algae, enteromorpha prolifera, started to appear a week ago and had spread across an area of 28,900 square kilometres.

The previous largest bloom was in 2008 when it affected around 13,000 square kilometres, it said.

Qingdao officials said they had removed around 7335 tonnes of algae, the official Xinhua news agency reported.

The China Daily quoted professor Bao Xianwen, of the Qingdao-based Ocean University of China, as saying:

‘‘It must have something to do with the change in the environment but we are not scientifically sure about the reasons.’’

The algae are not toxic nor detrimental to water quality but lead to extreme imbalances in marine ecosystems by consuming large quantities of oxygen and creating hydrogen sulphide.

With so much pollution, we better go and live “in a yellow submarine”.

The signs of massive regional environmental disaster’s are everywhere.  A green Yellow Sea is only one of them.

He replied, ‘When evening comes, you say, “It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,”  and in the morning, “Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.” You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.

Jesus the Messiah promised us sign that would tell us that his second coming would be near. That is why all Evangelical Christians must jump up and down, and shout “Hallelluja”.

Non-believers face will turn green, when they see our joy when things seems to go terrible wrong. Not understanding that the Earth is only a temporarily creation, and that is will be destroyed.

Also in the prosperity gospel camp, there will be anger against those who say that mankind will face distress and destruction. That is not what their false Pastors are teaching.  They believe we shall go form victory to victory, and walk in an anointing of financial blessings.

All who rejoice over the fact, that eternity inside the Kingdom of Heaven is near, will be persecuted. Because mankind want to put their hope in the flesh, and desire to continue their life in sins and indulgences.

When trouble comes, they will all panic. And in the midst of the chaos, they will curse God for the calamities that has come upon them, refusing to repent from their deceptive ways.
