Egypt in Gaza in an attempt for a truce as rocket jolts Tel Aviv

GAZA (Reuters) – Egypt tried to open a tiny window to emergency peace diplomacy in Gaza on Friday, but hopes for even a brief ceasefire while its prime minister was inside the bombarded enclave to talk to leaders of the Islamist Hamas movement were immediately dashed.

Prime Minister Hisham Kandil visited the Gaza Strip officially to show solidarity with the Palestinian people after two days of relentless attacks by Israeli warplanes determined to end militant rocket fire at Israel.

A Palestinian official close to Egypt’s mediators told Reuters Kandil’s visit “was the beginning of a process to explore the possibility of reaching a truce. It is early to speak of any details or of how things will evolve”.

Israel undertook to cease fire during the visit if Hamas did too. But it said rockets fired from Gaza hit several sites in southern Israel as he was in the enclave and has begun drafting 16,000 reserve troops, a possible precursor to invasion.

Tanks and self-propelled guns were seen near the border area of Friday and sirens sounded again over Tel Aviv, after witnesses in Gaza saw a long-range rocket launched. Israeli police said it landed in the sea off Israel’s commercial centre.

A Hamas source said the Israeli air force launched an attack on the house of Hamas’s commander for southern Gaza which resulted in the death of two civilians, one a child.

Israel’s military strongly denied carrying out any attack from the time Kandil entered Gaza, and accused Hamas of violating the three-hour deal.

“Even though about 50 rockets have fallen in Israel over the past two hours, we chose not to attack in Gaza due to the visit of the Egyptian prime minister. Hamas is lying and reporting otherwise,” the army said in a Twitter message.

My comment: I read a comment by a reader, which stood out to me. It read:

“If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more ‎violence. If the Jews put ‎down their weapons ‎today, there would be no ‎more Israel’‎”

The statement is completely true.

I have always believed and continue to do so: that Israel has a right to protect themselves from those who would kill them, and steal their land, which was given to them by God.

Joel 3:1-3

“For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up my land, and have cast lots for my people, and have traded a boy for a prostitute, and have sold a girl for wine and have drunk it.”

Many news media are a fan of displaying the children of Palestinans who have died. Such a thing is horrendous, but never hardly do we see those that were killed in Israel. And these children would still be alive today, if Hamas ceased firing rockets. It is the truth.

Zechariah 12:1-14

The burden of the word of the Lord concerning Israel: Thus declares the Lord, who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within him: “Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples. Hamas is a violent organization who will only back down when Jesus our King comes, and destory all those against Israel.

Isaiah 41:11-12

Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all.

The time has come to repent of your hatred, against Israel. For those against Israel, are against Christ our King.

Iran supplies Hamas with rocket that can hit Tel Aviv

Iran is apparently concentrating on smuggling longer-range rockets into Gaza, like their Fajr-5.

This rocket is as big as a telephone poll, has a range of 75 km., and could reach Tel Aviv and most of central Israel. But the Fajr-5 can be moved through the smuggling tunnels to Gaza only if broken down into 8-10 sections and then reassembled on the other end.

The Fajr-5 carries a 200-pound warhead and is only effective if aimed at a large urban area. That means that the most likely victims will be civilians. Israel would certainly go into Gaza if a Fajr ever landed in Tel Aviv.

Firing a few Fajr-5s into Israel, and then getting blasted by Israel, gives one pause. But Iran is supplying Hamas with much of the cash that keeps the organization alive. So Hamas is trying to replace the 2,000 rockets it lost in the recent war (including 1,400 destroyed on the ground).

Iran is also smuggling in anti-aircraft missiles (like the SA-7/18 types), to be used against Israeli helicopters. These are easier to get through the tunnels, but the Israelis have equipped their helicopters and low flying fighters with countermeasures.

— His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday warned against Israel’s unilateral measures to Judaise Jerusalem, which he said threaten the Islamic and Christian heritage in the city.

He made the remarks during a meeting with Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill I and an accompanying delegation visiting Jordan as part of a regional tour.

His Majesty underlined the role the Russian church can play in protecting Jerusalem against Israeli policies meant to undermine the authentic identity of the holy city.

The King and the patriarch emphasised the importance of tolerance and dialogue between followers of different religions, which contributes to a message of peace and love all around the world.

The Russian patriarch praised Jordan’s role in protecting the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.
He described Jordan as a model for co-existence and dialogue between religions, valuing the stability and security of the Kingdom.

Patriarch of the Orthodox Church of Jerusalem, Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine Theophilus III and director of the King’s Office Imad Fakhoury attended the meeting.

His Majesty said that the Russian Pilgrims’ House at the Baptism Site strengthens the relations between the two countries, especially when it comes to religious tourism.

My comment:

It is interesting that the Muslims in Jordan feel Israel is falsifying the history.

Like the claim that Israel:

 ….undermine the authentic identity of the holy city.

Let it be crystal clear:

It was Jordan who occupied East Jerusalem from 1948 to 1967. During this occupation, Jordan did not only refuse to protect the holy sites of Judaism. The criminals who entered the city destroyed and burned more than 50 ancient synagogues.

In regards to the “authentic identity of Jerusalem”, this city was founded more than 1.500 years before there ever was a religion named Islam.

The Jewish people built this city, and they are the only true caretakers.  And they do their job with sincerity and respect for people who are born into other religions. Muslims are free to worship in their Mosques and shrines, and so are Christians and Roman Catholics.

Comfort, comfort my people,
 says your God.
 Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,
 and proclaim to her
that her hard service has been completed,
 that her sin has been paid for,
that she has received from the Lord’s hand
 double for all her sins.

Evangelical friends of Israel have absolutely no problem with the Jewish control of Jerusalem. We who believe in Jesus the Messiah proclaim He liberated the city in 1967.  The Jews were given the task of being good and fair caretaker of Jerusalem more than 3.000 years ago.

King Abdullah of Jordan had a choice. He could stand up for the truth, or he could distribute Islamic lies. He has chosen to tell lies, in a bid to save his kingdom from facing a take over by Islamic Jihad or the Muslim Brotherhood.

Some antichrists in the claimed to be “Christian family” has decided to join the falsehood of the King of Jordan.

“Muslim preacher” beats daughter 5 to death with whips and hot metal

5 year old Lamma suffered greatly at the hands of her father.

A five-year-old girl has died after her  father – a ‘prominent religious scholar’ – allegedly beat her to death with  ‘whips and hot metal’.

Lamaa died in the intensive care unit of a  Riyadh hospital in Saudi Arabia after months of ‘suffering from broken arms, [a]  skull fracture and head bruises’.

Al Arabiya news reported that the child  was  tortured with ‘whips and electric shocks’ while Saudi website  Emirates 24/7  claims the scholar and his new wife used ‘sticks and hot  metals’ to beat the  girl.

The girl’s mother told the Al Arabiya  news  network that the injuries were inflicted by her ex-husband who she  alleged had  been abusing her daughter for eight months.

She  claimed he is a ‘prominent religious scholar’ who preaches on satellite TV  channels.

Lamaa’s father has been named as Faihan Al  Gameri by news agency EF.

My Comment:

News channels have identified this man to be a highly known “Islam preacher,” who was a former drug addict, but now preaches the Allah lie on TV channels.

That the muslim book  Quran is filled with violence is a well known fact to any Bible believing Christian.  One could only imagine the suffering this little girl took at home, all in the name of allah.

But crimes such as these tell us our Messiah is near. The violence on this earth is increasing, as we see from all different backgrounds, murders which include parents killing their own children, and children killing their own parents. They do so without regard that Jesus Christ watches their every move, they do so without the love of Our King in their hearts.

2 Timothy 3:1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.

Luke 12:49

“I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is completed! Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. Interpreting the Times

Our Messiah is near, and whether you accept him or not is your choice. The Word of God says: every knee shall bow and confess to God. It is up to you if you will stand in the presence of the Lord, knowing you have accepted him and repented, or if you will stand in the presence of the Lord, unrepented of your sins. But I know for a true fact: allah cannot save you, neither can buddah, the pope, a witch, or even satan.

No one can save you but Jesus Christ!
