This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
The Messiah is the light of the world. There is no darkness in Him. He healed the sick, raised the dead, drove out demons, feed the hungry, and rebuked people living in error. People hate to be rebuked, and become the enemy of God. People who hate the Messiah hate God. Some evil deeds are obvious. Others are hidden.

God let His Messiah be born into a Torah observant family. The Messiah was going to be raised learning about the Law of Moses. The Jewishness of the Son of God can never be questioned.
