EU governor to rule the Parliament in Greece

Greek officials have reacted angrily to a leaked German proposal for an EU budget commissioner with veto powers over Greek taxes and spending.

The EU will force the Greek to delegetimize their own democratic statehood.

The Greek government said it must remain in control of its own budget.

The European Commission says it wants to reinforce its monitoring of Greek finances, but Greece should retain sovereign control.
Meanwhile, Greece and its private investors are close to a deal which will pave the way for a second bailout.

Greek government spokesman Pantelis Kapsis told the BBC the discussions between the two parties had gone well and they were “close to an agreement”.

Greece must reach agreement in the next few days in order to receive the next tranche of funds from its first bailout.

The whole idea of the EU, is to create a United States of Europe. The process of integration will take time, but the very goal stands.

To achieve this goal, each individual nation has to be delegitimized.

The EU-law has to become the law of every member state.

Like in ancient Rome, the emperor will send a supreme  governor to each of the subject areas.  Pontius Pilate was Rome’s man in Jerusalem. When the religious leaders wanted to get Jesus executed, they sent the Messiah to the office of the Roman governour.

  Matthew 27
Early in the morning, all the chief priests and the elders of the people made their plans how to have Jesus executed.  So they bound him, led him away and handed him over to Pilate the governor.

The Greek people will not easily submit to Rome. Neither did they do in ancient times, nor do they today. But the EU-empire will have its way. Greece will have to chose the money and the governor, or non of them.

But did not ancient Rome have a senate?

Yes the Emperor kept a senate. Even Hitler had a puppet “parliament”, as long as he found it useful.  Sometimes cartoons explains the political process better than words:

The PM who kissed the feet of the Germany leader is gone. Another has come.
Money makes the world go around. In Greece the money simply has disappeared.
You have to dance to the true rulers of Europe.

The Worlds population will have to get use to the Prophetic Word being fulfilled. There will come a One World Government that will have a supreme “king” on top. This man will be the last and final antichrist.

 Daniel 11:37-39
New International Version (NIV)

He will show no regard for the gods of his ancestors or for the one desired by women, nor will he regard any god, but will exalt himself above them all. Instead of them, he will honor a god of fortresses; a god unknown to his ancestors he will honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts. He will attack the mightiest fortresses with the help of a foreign god and will greatly honor those who acknowledge him. He will make them rulers over many people and will distribute the land at a price.

Greek Orthodox leader caught in 600 million USD fraud

The Greek religios leader in the center of fraud.
The Greek religios leader Archimandrite Ephraim in the center of fraud.

Archimandrite Ephraim is one of Christian Orthodoxy’s leading spiritual figures. Now he face prison for fraud.

Also, the Greek government “ceded” to the Vatopaid monks some 800 hectares of land valuable from the angle of tourism. The area is located near the town of Ouranoupolis in the vicinity of Mount Athos.

In exchange, the monks handed to the Greek Government some 8,000 hectares of land in the country‘s north. The attorneys claim the transactions inflicted a damage of USD 100 million as a minimum on the national budget.

The Greek criminal justice system is today in the dock having used extraordinary methods to “capture”.

Abbot Ephraim the leader of the largest monastery on Mount Athos in Greece, and one of Christian Orthodoxy’s leading spiritual figures.

The Russian Government and the Russian Orthodox Church have made strong protests to the Greek Government:

“Such actions on the part of authorities of a country that is Eastern Orthodox under the provisions of its Constitution can only be regarded as an instance of inadmissible politicization of court investigations,” the Foundation of St Andrew the First said in a special statement.

The Itar Tass news agency in a report said:

”The foundation urged the Greek judiciary to ensure a fair and unbiased investigation of litigations between the state and the monastery. It also called on the Greek nation to remain committed to the spirit and values of Eastern Orthodox Christianity and to stay away from involvement in the politically motivated court cases:.

“

The statement also said the Foundation officials were quite “astonished upon noting the fact that the court passed a decision on taking archimandrite Ephraim to custody soon after his return to Russia where he escorted the Virgin Mary’s girdle.”

My comment:

There has always been a problem with a “Church”, that tries to build God’s kingdom on Earth.  Jesus the Messiah could have done that. He could have lived in palaces built by men, and had a red carpet welcome into any bank.

But Jesus told us plainly: “My kingdom is not of this world”.

Both the Roman Catholic and Orthodox Churches are false Churches. They seek political and financial powers, and walk in the ways of the World. Such “Churches” are corrupt like any other worldly power.

The Jewish Apostles Paul warned us about religious men, who are not born again, but full of filth and greed.

  Romans 1:29-31

They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.

The latest scandal in Greece is a brilliant continued exposure of what the wikileaks revealed to us. Bad company corrupts the very best character. The global elite, both the secular and religious, is a gathering of corrupt hypocrites.  They love money, have made money their master, and are a part of the kingdom of this world.

 Luke 16:13
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”

John 15:19
If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

Two wronged by Turkey becomes good friends

Israel, Greece mark growing ties with joint air force drill.

Benjamin Netanyahu and George Papandreou does not have much in common. But both are in trouble with Turkey.

Israel’s Air Force on Monday concluded a two-week drill with the Hellenic Air Force.

This happend as the two nations cemented growing ties between their militaries, recently reflected in Greece’s recent move to halt a Gaza-bound flotilla set to depart from its shores.

The joint drill was held at Greece’s Larisa Air Base, and several elite Israeli squadrons, along with the IDF’s elite rescue unit 669 took part in the exercise along with the Greek military.

Over the past few days Greece has been working to stop the pro-Palestinian flotilla from departing to Gaza. On Sunday, the Greek government offered to transport the flotilla’s aid to Gaza as a compromise in order to end the affair.

A new beginning, or just an alliance in their deep need to counter Turkey?

According to the Greek initiative, the humanitarian aid aboard flotilla ships will be loaded onto watercraft.

The Greek government has offered to transfer the goods to Gaza via the organized channels.

This was requested by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon two weeks ago.

This means the aid would go through either the Ashdod port or Arish, and from there be taken to the Gaza Strip under the supervision of Greek and UN authorities.

My comment:

The relationship between Israel and Greek has never been easy. Growing antisemitism in the Greek Orthodox Church has made Israel embarrassed on several occasions.

But nowadays, geopolitics creates new alliances fast. While the influence of Turkey is growing, Greece is on the brink of bankruptcy.

Israel does not have many friends, and the growing threat from Turkey needed to be countered.

The old saying again becomes reality: “My enemy’s enemy is my best friend”.

Turkey has always been hostile to Greek national interest, and do occupy the Northern part of Cypress. Turkey also support Hamas, a major treat to the Jewish state.

 Proverbs 27:6
Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.

That Israel managed to stop the Gaza piracy flotilla at the harbor of Athene is a great diplomatic victory for Israel.

How much cash Israel had to put on the table, to sweeten the bid, we will only come to know in the future.

But what is wrong to offer some cash to a friend who is so short of cash, that he has to borrow money to buy a cup of tea?

Israeli military action exposes Greek cowardice

A joint Israeli-Grecian air force exercise was called off this week in response to Israel stopping a flotilla carrying armed goons posing as peace activists.

NATO-member Greece followed suit with Turkey, and boycotted the Israeli defence forces.

Week end comment

By Mike Adams

The exercise involving the Israeli Air Force (IAF) and the Greek Air Force was taking place at a Greek air base in Souda Bay, on the island of Crete. It was a continuation for the IAF of numerous joint training exercises with different air forces in Europe and North America, in order to improve the capabilities of its pilots in long-distance bombing missions. This is supplemented with training for aerial battles as well as for how to overcome various air defence systems.

The IDF spokesman’s office confirmed last week the IAF’s participation in the joint exercise with Greece and said that it was planned in advance on this year’s training schedule. Israeli premier Netanyahu’s pep talk with his Greek counterpart, George Papandreou, in February gave an added boost to Israeli-Grecian relations now expressed in practicing for war and facing the threat from Iran.

But at the first sign of Israel exerting her sovereign right of self-defence by keeping her coastal waters from being invaded by violent pro-Hamas activists, Greece backs down. John Milton’s observation “hypocrisy, the only evil that walks” is a perfect way of describing the overt cowardice shown by the Greek authorities in its reaction to Israel’s defensive measures. Ambrose Bierce’s “The Devil’s Dictionary” describes a coward as “one who in a perilous emergency thinks with his legs”. But the Greeks are not only walking, but are racing in completely the wrong direction.

If the Greeks knew how to really appreciate a true ally they would have not overreacted by suspending a military exercise with Israel and insulting the Jewish state by postponing a visit by Ido Nehoshtan, Commander in Chief of the Israeli Air Force. The safety of some 30 Greeks on board the thug-infested ship flotilla being jeopardised and the unconfirmed reports of a Greek national being among the injured can in no way justify halting military cooperation. In a word, disproportionate.

The Greek embassy in Tel Aviv contacted the Israeli authorities and requested an official briefing and explanation regarding the operation carried out by the Israeli armed forces. That in itself is understandable, but then you have Greece summoning the Israeli Ambassador Ali Yahya to demand an “immediate” report on the Greek contingent of bogus peace and human rights activists bound for Gaza. Yahya was called in for talks with Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas. A top-level tongue-lashing, in other words.

“It is Greece’s long-standing position that any activities undertaken by non-governmental organisations must go unhindered, under the obvious condition that the activities are legal,” said a statement released by the foreign ministry. This means that the Greek government endorses the activities of Turkish IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which besides its legitimate philanthropic activities is also, according to the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, a supporter of radical Islamic networks, including Hamas, and global jihad elements.

Amongst the other organisations that acted as a mainstay for the flotilla was the International Solidarity Movement (ISM). The ISM is infamous for placing foreign nationals in danger through encouraging “direct action”. This was, of course, amply demonstrated when naïve westerners were used as living shields on board the Gaza flotilla whilst stirred up by jihadist chants extolling genocide.

In the past ISM’s extreme ideology has shown what is at its core. In 2003 UK terrorists used ISM as a cover to attack the bar Mike’s Place in Tel Aviv, murdering three people. More recently, ISM has been a leading force in the violent protests against the security barrier at Ni’lin, a town 17 kilometres west of Ramallah in Judea and Samaria. An ISM activist has recently been put behind bars in the US, charged with “giving about 20,000 dollars to a group he knew supported Hamas”.

Greek intelligence can’t amount to much when it condones NGOs with a reputation for pro-jihadist activities. And besides, were talking about Turkish-Cypriot operations. But aren’t the Turks a thorn in the side of the Greeks?

Not any longer, it would seem. Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s historic two-day visit to Athens with ten ministers and close to 100 businessmen in the middle of May changed the whole framework of bilateral relations between Turkey and Greece from an uneasy rivalry to high-level cooperation. So there you have it. Israel can easily be marginalised when you have Greece with its tail between its legs making friendly gestures to an Islamic bully.

The protest-addicted Greeks made their presence known in the streets. They had a field day. In Athens, some 3,500 protesters comprising Greeks and Arabs rallied outside the Israeli embassy, chanting “Hands off Gaza” and “Free Palestine”. Several hundred street fighters clashed with riot police, throwing chunks of marble, stones and bottles. Police fired teargas and stun grenades to disperse them while detaining five of them. Twenty other Greek cities could report of similar protests.

When all is said and done, any God-fearing person can only brand the Greeks’ behaviour as cowardly and ignobly submissive. It’s just another tragic example of a nation giving into God’s enemy number one, the spirit of unbelief. I’m reminded of the fate of such people who would rather bless Allah including his cohorts and at the same time curse the God of Israel.

“But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars – their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulphur. This is the second death” (Revelation 21:8).
