Matthew 11:28
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
The Messiah came to take our burdens. But many people do not want to give him their burdens. They want to carry them, and some carry them with them into their graves. There is no Shalom outside of the Messiah, Jesus from Nazareth. Only in Him you will find rest for your souls.
John 3:12
I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?
The Messiah spoke about issues like paying taxes, and forgiving or neighbor. This was in regards to Earthly things, issues we can feel, smell or see with our own eyes. But sine the teachers of the Torah were not willing to obey Jesus in such issues, why would they listen to the explanation about the Kingdom of Heaven? This is a place in the Spiritual realm, something we can not see or touch. But is there. Listen to Jesus, before its to late.
Luke 6:19
and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.
The Jewish Messiah was expected to bring healing to the Jewish people. But not only healing of the flesh, but healing to the heart. Jews who came to the Son of Man, Jesus from Nazareth, felt the power, and He restored whatever had been broken.
John 12:10-12
So the chief priests made plans to kill Lazarus as well, for on account of him many of the Jews were going over to Jesus and putting their faith in him.
Its not correct to say that the «Jews» did not believe that Jesus was the Messiah. When he rose Lazarus from the dead, many Jews came to Jesus. They were men and women of faith, who gave their life to Him. The Chief priest had been rebuked by the Messiah, and plotted to kill both Him and Lazarus.
