Cardinal Roger Mahony from Los Angeles intends to help select a new pope in Rome despite calls from some critics that he withdraw from the process in the wake of revelations about his actions in the priest sex-abuse scandal.

The day Pope Benedict XVI announced his resignation almost two weeks ago, Mahony wrote on his blog that he looked forward to participating in the conclave of cardinals in Rome to elect Benedict’s successor.

That stance elicited some criticism given that last month the Los Angeles Archdiocese stripped Mahony, its former archbishop, of his public duties after it was revealed that he plotted to conceal child molestation by priests.

But Mahony indicated via Twitter on Friday that he still would be part of the sequestered papal selection process.

He tweeted: “Just a few short hours before my departure for Rome. Will be tweeting often from Rome, except during the actual Conclave itself. Prayers!”

On Saturday, a group called Catholics United delivered a petition with nearly 10,000 signatures asking that Mahony not participate in the conclave because of the abuse scandals that happened under his watch, said Chris Pumpelly, spokesman for Catholics United.

The Roman Catholic Church is a nest of vipers, a religious assembly of the wicked. It is 1.700 years since this religious institutions was formed in the pagan city of Rome. Its foundation is built on sand, and it will burn on the day of judgement.

The Roman Empire introduced Christendom as state religion around 315.A.D. The foundation was built on a gross compromise, that all the “gods” of the Roman religion would be incorporated in the “New faith”.

The Chair of Jupiter was renamed the “Chair of St. Peter”.

The highest priest of the pagan Roman religion, the Pontifex Maximus, was appointed the first Pope, and claimed to be the successor of the Jewish Apostle Peter.

Mythological pagan figures were renamed, and introduced as “saints”. Pagan goddesses changed colors and and became “madonna’s”, thousands of copies of the Queen of Heaven. Everything Jewish was banned, and a new set of laws enforced up on the “Church”

The Roman Catholic religion is founded on lies and religious fraud. During the ages, it was gone from bad to worse. A lie that has been told a million times, is still a lie. Even when lies are introduced as truth and taught in Catholic seminaries and Jesuit schools, it is still nothing but lies.

The fruits of the Vatican priesthood are obvious. Sodomy, pedophilia, corruption, wickedness, sexual crimes and blasphemy.

According to Florentine medieval manuscripts analysed by a historian, the great-grandmother of Jesus is supposed to be a woman named Saint Ismeria.

“Saint Ismeria likely served as a role model for older women during the 14th and 15th centuries”, claims a lecturer in Catholic Ireland.

The legend of Saint Ismeria sheds light on both the Biblical Virgin Mary’s family and also on religious and cultural values of 14th century Florence.

“I don’t think any other woman is mentioned” as Mary’s grandmother in the Bible, Ms Catherine Lawless, the paper’s author, said. “Mary’s patrilineal lineage is the only one giv-en,” Discovery News quoted Ms Lawless as saying.

“Mary herself is mentioned very little in the Bible,” added Ms Lawless, a lecturer in history at the University of Limerick.“ The huge Marian cult that has evolved over centuries has very few scriptural sources,” she said.

The legend of Saint Ismeria has been published in the current Journal of Medieval History.

My reply:

I will not be very surprised if Catholics in Ireland soon starts to pray to the “Holy great grand mother of God”.

The Marian cult inside the Catholic Church, leads people into not Biblical worship of the earthly ancestors of Jesus. Like the claimed to be grandmother if Jesus, St. Ann. Now a “super revelation” has revealed a great grandmother of Jesus named Ismeria.

While Jesus warned us not to worship of pay any special attention to his earthly family, this cult is of a different opinion.

The Catholic Church have thousands of claimed to be saints, and may also tell the Papists to venerate the grand uncle of Jesus, and make him a “holy man”. In the Church, such figures are included in the “Holy family”.

The only once left out of a Catholic family, beaten and excommunicated are “believers”. Those who believe in every word written in the Bible, and correctly claim the Vatican is the head of the biggest cult on Earth.
