These are the words of Dr. Mitch Glaser said in his address at Calvary Baptist Church. He is the president of messianic Jewish group Chosen People Ministries.

“The saving faith grows out of a spirit enlightened understanding of the gospel,” he continued. “Often times when I speak about a glorious future for Israel and for the Jewish people, some people misunderstand that, and think that you can have that future without the king – you can’t. Yeshua is the key to everything.”

The People, the Land, and the Future of Israel conference attracted hundreds of people according to a press release by Chosen People, and was co-sponsored by the ministries of Joel C. Rosenberg, an evangelical Christian and New York Times bestselling author, who has written a number books with end times themes.

It featured renowned scholars and speakers including Darrell Bock, Craig Blaising, Mike Wilkins, John Feinberg, Craig Evans, Michael Brown, and was designed “to help Christians develop a deeper understanding of current and future events in the Middle East through the lens of Scripture.”

Chosen People noted that each of the conference speakers were committed to a number of biblical principles : that God has a continuing plan for the Jewish people, that the land of Israel ultimately belong to the Jewish people, and that reaching Jewish people with the gospel is crucial.

My comment:

As a Christian Zionist, I am convinced that the Jewish people are in need of the gospel. It must be preached to all Jews. God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob wants His chosen people to accept His begotten Son, Yeshua the Messiah.

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.

Why do many Jews have problem to accept the “Messiah of the Christians?”

The Jewish people have always been persecuted by false Christians, who have tried to convert them, rob them of their land and properties, and even forced Jews to be baptized.

Many claimed Christians do not understand that Judaism is not a false religion. Judaism is an incomplete religion, as long as the Messiah is missing. Messianic Judaism makes the Biblical faith complete. Christians who reject Judaism is equally lost, as all who reject the Messiah.

Without Judaism, there would be no Messiah.

Any claimed to be Christians who have harmed a Jew, have never known the Messiah.  But have rather submitted to a copycat spirit, and started to do evil in the name of “Jesus”.

The good news in that the blood of the Messiah has been shed for the forgives of sins. The Messiah shed His blood for the salvation of both Jews and gentiles.

Because of this Biblical truth, I support Chosen People Ministry.  Please support the Messianic Jews.
