Sculpture in Rome offend Catholics

Is this a statue of John Paul II, or is it rather Benito Mussolini?

Pope or Mussolini? The Roman Catholics in Rome are still puzzled.

The Roman Catholics in Rome, have been up in arms over this statue.

It was made to honor the late Pope, but rather looks like the man who gifted the Vatican statehood to the Pope in 1929, Benito Mussolini.

Some have said, there is hardly any difference between these two men in the first place, so why bother?

But what about the empathy space inside the body?

What exactly is that kind of symbolism?

This is what a blog have recoded from the debate in Italy:

A new 16 foot tall bronze statue of Pope John Paul II was recently unveiled in the piazza of Rome’s main train station to a public outcry.

Some of the public dislike it because they feel it is a poor likeness of Pope John Paul II, most just try to make a joke about the empty cavity and the style, but many have said it looks like Mussolini, the much hated Italian dictator from 1925 to 1945.

Some worry that the many homeless who hang around the train station will make a permanent shelter out of the cavity of the sculpture or it will fill with trash.

More than likely this controversy is just a much needed diversion from the political and economic scandals in Italy today.

My comment:

I am not an expert on arts.

Benito Mussolini.

But I have an objection to if skulpturs by nature are venerable, and adorable.

Who decides what the public should adore?

If the present Pope calls his faithful to light candles and pray in front of this sculpture, the Catholics are caught in a fix.

To whom are they praying?

Would the fascist leader Benito Mussolini also listen to their prayer in the “Catholic heaven?”.

The remains of late Pope to be declared “saint” and holy

The process of beatification, or declaring the late pontiff to be “blessed”, is a crucial step towards making him a saint.

Three former American Presidents all in need of miracles. They never got one, from late Pope John Paul II.

Pope Benedict XVI has formally approved a miracle attributed to his late predecessor, paving the way to John Paul II’s beatification on 1 May.

John Paul II died in 2005 after a papacy of nearly 27 years.

The Vatican credits him with the miraculous cure of a nun said to have had Parkinson’s Disease.

Church officials believe that the Polish pope, who himself suffered from the condition, interceded for the miraculous cure of Sister Marie Simon-Pierre, a Frenchwoman in her late forties.

The late Pope bowing before an idol, praying.

She has said her illness inexplicably disappeared two months after John Paul II’s death, after she and her fellow nuns had prayed to him.

Church-appointed doctors agreed that there was no medical explanation for the curing of the nun, although last year there were some doubts about the validity of the miracle.

A Polish newspaper said that a doctor who scrutinised the nun’s case had concluded that she might have been suffering not from Parkinson’s, but from a nervous disorder from which temporary recovery is medically possible.

Up to a million people are expected to gather in Rome for the beatification.

His body will not be displayed but placed in a tomb under a simple marble stone reading “Beatus Ioannes Paulus II” (Blessed John Paul II).

In order for John Paul II to be canonised as a saint, a second miracle would have to be verified following the beatification.

My comment:

It is amazing that the Vatican seems to be unable to verify a single miracle of the late Pope, while he was alive. He reigned as Pope for 27 years.

The late Pope kissing the Koran.

The problem by verifying a miracles done by a man, after his death is obvious.

And it is quite silly to examine such claimed miracles.

Who, if anyone, can be a trustworthy witness and verify who was the performer?

Forget about the issue, if a miracle like this should be considered true or false:

If Pope John Paul II had performed even a single miracle in broad daylight, no one would have questioned if a miracle had taken place.

If Pope John Paul II did not perform a miracle during 27 years as Pope, his spiritual life was more than dry. His time as Pontiff must have been miserable.

All who were not blind, could not have failed to understand that his life was miserable, full of falsehood and idol worship. His life was also filled with pain and agony, a crippled man both physically and spiritually.

The late Pope being kissed by Yasser Arafat.

All honest men, would have resigned from their office, and retired if they could not conduct their work properly.

The late Pope was never able to understand the Gospel, not able to read the message on the wall.

Lets look at the Biblical perspective of the “saints” of the Roman Catholic religion.

The wickedness of the Roman Catholic Church, making “saints” after mortal men have departed, can be understood by all who can read.

The Bible explains who the real saints are, the living people of God, walking on the Earth.

Psalm 30:4
Sing to the Lord, O you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.

Romans 15:26
For it has been the good pleasure of Macedonia and Achaia to make some contribution for the poor among the saints of Jerusalem.

2 Corinthians 13:13
All the saints (the people of God here) salute you.

All these verses are from the Amplified Bible version.

What a waist of souls. What a religious movement formed and controlled by demons down in the bottomless pit. There will most likely be no end of the unlimited mockery and falsehood distributed globally from the Vatican.

Catholic Bishop: «John Paul II used belt to whip himself»

Pope John Paul II whipped himself with a belt, even on vacation, and slept on the floor as acts of penitence and to bring him closer to Christian perfection.

Bit by bit we get the knowledge about what Pope John Paul II was doing behind closed doors.

This information is published in a book was written by Monsignor Slawomir Oder, the postulator, or main promoter, for John Paul’s canonization cause and was released Tuesday. It was based on the testimony of the 114 witnesses and boxes of documentation Oder gathered on John Paul’s life to support the case.

The book «Why He’s a Saint» also includes previously unpublished speeches and documents written by John Paul, including one 1989 signed memo in which he said he would resign if he became incapacitated.

At a news conference Tuesday, Oder defended John Paul’s practice of self-mortification, which some faithful use to remind them of the suffering of Jesus on the cross.

Cardinal Ratzinger looks at the aging Pope, soon to be the next Pontiff.

«It’s an instrument of Christian perfection» Oder said, responding to questions about how such a practice could be condoned considering Catholic teaching holds that the human body is a gift from God.

In the book, Oder wrote that John Paul frequently denied himself food — especially during the holy season of Lent — and «frequently spent the night on the bare floor». messing up his bed in the morning so he wouldn’t draw attention to his act of penitence.

«But it wasn’t limited to this. As some members of his close entourage in Poland and in the Vatican were able to hear with their own ears, John Paul flagellated himself. In his armoire, amid all the vestments and hanging on a hanger, was a belt which he used as a whip and which he always brought to Castel Gandolfo», the papal retreat where John Paul vacationed each summer.

While there had long been rumors that John Paul practiced self-mortification, the book provides the first confirmation and concludes John Paul did so as an example of his faith.

My comment:

There is absolutely no verse in the New Testament of the Bible that opens up for such practices. Its another example of the Pope listening to evil spirits and demons. The Great Commandment of the Bible it self demands from us, that we love our neighbor as our selves.

Pope John Paul II kisses the Koran

The Bible surely do not permit any Christian to flung his belt on his neighbor, nor to harm his own body.

Why do the Popes disobey Jesus of the Bible?

Simply because they all reject the Word of God. Because of this rejection, they have never been connected to the Holy Spirit.

I have for a long time been of the opinion that Pope John Paul II was a secret devoted Muslim. His kissing of the Koran, his promotion of a new religion of all faiths One God, and finally inflicting him self with pain, makes my case stronger.

If the Pope of Rome had converted to Islam, he would most likely have been an active figure during an Islamic Shiit Ashura festival. Just take a look at these insane perversions.

Self pain inflcited to honor Allah.
A festival to honor Allah, full of pain, blood and spiritual death and destruction.
A Muslim festival to honor a dead cult started by an Arab called Muhammad. There is no end of wickedness.
