“The world won’t allow us to rule over another nation.”
Ehud Barak is again willing to end Zionism in a bid to get "peace".
This is a statement by Defense Minister Ehud Barak recorded in Jerusalem Post. This is want Barak said:
“This is the time to take risks to prevent int’l isolation,” defense minister warns; “world won’t allow us to rule over another nation.”
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu cannot wait until the end of May to deliver his expected diplomatic initiative on the Palestinian conflict, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Monday morning in an interview on Israel Radio.
“The end of May is much too late,” Barak said. “This is the time to take risks in order to prevent international isolation.”
Saying he is sure Netanyahu understands that “the world won’t allow us to rule over another nation,” Barak added that he believes the prime minister is contemplating what to do.
When asked whether the Likud party will prevent Netanyahu from taking large diplomatic steps, the defense minister said, “I think Netanyahu will have sweeping support in Likud for whatever he does.”
He added, “this is the time for leadership. We have no choice, we need to separate from the Palestinians for our own interests”.
A ruler of another nation, is a colonial power and an occupier of land that belongs to someone else.
Ehud Barak is accusing himself of being a defense minister of a colonial power. If this man had any self respect left, He would resign today.
If the Jews are the colonialists of Mount Zion, than the whole state of Israel should be dissolved as soon as possible. In fact Zionism is falsehood, and Hamas is right. Israel is the problem, and the stumbling block towards peace in the Middle East.
Isaiah 8:18 Here am I, and the children the LORD has given me. We are signs and symbols in Israel from the LORD Almighty, who dwells on Mount Zion.
Its is regrettable that a highly decorated war hero of the Jewish people defame the statehood, he is set to protect.
Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah recently threatened that the Lebanese Islamic movement would take revenge on Israel for the assassination of Imad Mughniyeh.
Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah
Mughniyeh, a top Hezbollah commander, was slain in the Syrian capital of Damascus on February 12, 2008, at the hands of Mossad agents. The assassination showed that the Israeli regime had, unfortunately, institutionalized terrorism across the globe.
In a recent speech on the outskirts of Beirut, Nasrallah warned that Israeli leaders would pay a heavy price for Mughniyeh’s slaying. Experience shows the Hezbollah chief is straightforward in his words, and means what he says when adopting a stance on local or foreign issues.
Nasrallah also threatened Hezbollah fighters will capture the town of Al-Jalil in northern occupied Palestine should the Zionist regime of Israel attack Lebanon. Nasrallah’s reaction to a possible Israeli strike on Southern Lebanon is the outcome of the recent regional and international developments.
The Middle East, which has entered a new era following the ouster of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Tunisian ruler Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali, is poised to witness fresh political changes in the future. Such a political makeup will result in the emergence of new movements in Egypt and Jordan against the US and Israel’s unjust treatment of Arab and Muslim nations in the region.
Over the past 30 years, the Muslim nations in the Mideast have witnessed the rise to power of regimes which have given their nations the worst of treatments with the backing of the West, including the US.
It is obvious if one is a believer in Jesus Christ and read’s His Word that Israel will not be able to live in true peace, until our Messiah come. The coming Anti-christ peace will be a false peace, and a temporary one.
Men like Nasrallah will continue to murder, steal, and abhor everything that stands for Israel. Unfortunately, Israel will have to continue defending themselves, from nations like these.
Our Lord Jesus Christ comes soon. God’s promise to Israel is eternal, and unless men like Nasrallah repent, they will face an eternity of pain. It is written in God’s word, so it is the complete truth.
Revelation 1:7
Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.
Please keep Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in your prayer.
AFP – The Israeli military is “ready for all eventualities” as the Arab and Muslim world undergoes “an earthquake,” Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday just days after Egypt’s regime collapsed.
“An earthquake is shaking the whole Arab world and a large part of the Muslim world and we don’t yet know how these things will turn out,” the premier said at a swearing-in ceremony for new army chief Major General Benny Gantz.
“We are ready for all eventualities because we know that the foundation of our existence, and our capacity to convince our neighbours to live in peace with us, is based on the Israeli army,” he said during a ceremony at his Jerusalem office.
Gantz takes over the post as Israel’s strategic stance in the Middle East undergoes a shakeup in the wake of a popular revolt in Egypt which ousted president Hosni Mubarak after three decades in power.
Israel has reacted cautiously to the overthrow of Mubarak, an ally who was involved in years of Middle East peace negotiations.
But it welcomed a statement by Egypt’s new military ruling council that Cairo remains committed to all its treaties, including its landmark 1979 peace deal with Israel.
Israel has a right to worry. It seems that the middle east countries are one by one going against Israel, until simply there will be no one left on this earth, on their side.
But the Messiah, Our King is near, and with His Coming-he will bring judgment. If only the people of Israel realize that God’s promise is eternal and that God would never abandon them, then their worry would flee. It is a great thing to leave your problems in the hands of Our Savior, for his love for us sees us through even the roughest of time.
Ezekiel 39 verse 1-8
“Son of man, prophesy against Gog and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. I will turn you around and drag you along. I will bring you from the far north and send you against the mountains of Israel. Then I will strike your bow from your left hand and make your arrows drop from your right hand. On the mountains of Israel you will fall, you and all your troops and the nations with you. I will give you as food to all kinds of carrion birds and to the wild animals. You will fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Sovereign Lord. I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the Lord.
‘I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will no longer let my holy name be profaned, and the nations will know that I the Lord am the Holy One in Israel. It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign Lord. This is the day I have spoken of.
Egypt’s banned Muslim Brotherhood movement has unveiled its plans to scrap a peace treaty with Israel if it comes to power.
The Moslem Brotherhood claims to be peaceful and moderate, but their words and actions say otherwise.
Rashad al-Bayoumi appeared on an Egyptian TV station Thursday and said the peace treaty with Israel will be abolished after a provisional government is formed by the movement and other Egypt’s opposition parties.
“After President Mubarak steps down and a provisional government is formed, there is a need to dissolve the peace treaty with Israel,” al-Bayoumi said.
Egypt was the first Arab country to officially recognize Israel and sign a peace agreement with the Israeli government in 1979. It is also a major mediator of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The Muslim Brotherhood has recently come to light amid mass anti-government protests in Egypt. Some media voiced concerns that the banned Islamic movement could eventually take power in the riot-hit Arab country.
Initial Obama Administration reactions indicate that it does not rule out Muslim Brotherhood participation in a future Egyptian coalition government.
President Obama thinks he can do business with the Moslem Brotherhood. He is either inexcusably foolish, or he is compromised.
Since January 28, the Muslim Brotherhood’s involvement has become more prominent, with its support of Mohamed ElBaradei to lead the opposition forces against the government. In the streets of Cairo, Muslim Brotherhood demonstrators disdainfully call people like ElBaradei “donkeys of the revolution” (hamir al-thawra) – to be used and then pushed away – a scenario that sees the Muslim Brotherhood exploit ElBaradei in order to hijack the Egyptian revolution at a later stage.
Former Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammad Akef declared in 2004 his “complete faith that Islam will invade Europe and America.” In 2001, the Muslim Brotherhood’s publication in London, Risalat al-Ikhwan, featured at the top of its cover page the slogan: “Our Mission: World Domination.” This header was changed after 9/11.
The current Supreme Guide, Muhammad Badi’, gave a sermon in September 2010 stating that “the improvement and change that the [Muslim] nation seeks can only be attained through jihad and sacrifice and by raising a jihadi generation that pursues death, just as the enemies pursue life.”
US President Barak Obama has shown himself to be pitifully naïve in relation to the Moslem world in the first two years in office. His naiveté is shared by many on the political Left in the Western World, where I sometimes think there is a competition to see who can be the most militaristically suicidal.
But even amongst looney Leftists, it is undeniable that the Moslem Brotherhood’s intentions are not peaceful, when one of their own senior leaders plainly and openly says his organization will tear up the 1978 Camp David Accords if they gain political power in Egypt.
Egypt, as many commentators have said, is the center of gravity in the Arab world. The reason there has not been a large war in the Middle East for the last 40 years is that Egypt decided after the 1973 Yom Kippur War not to start any more fights with the Jewish State, and the other Arab countries know they are too small and weak to take on Israel without Egypt.
Now, the Moslem Brotherhood is about to become the dominant force in Egypt, which will lead to Moslem Brotherhood franchises in other Arab countries becoming emboldened to overthrow their pragmatic/secular governments.
These Islamic fundamentalists will not be deterred from attacking Israel by the military firepower of the Israeli military or the economic power of the United States, which anyway is fading.
We must all be praying for the nation of Israel as well as the Believing church in Egypt and other Arab countries. The Moslem Brotherhood’s rise to political power will be very dangerous for both of them.
And pray for the membership of the Moslem Brotherhood. Yeshua Ha’Mashiach (Jesus Christ) died for them too, and the only hope for them, in this world or in the next world, is to come to know His love and saving Grace.
