Earthquakes

Two days after a magnitude 7.0-earthquake struck China’s  Sichuan province, residents are still awaiting rescue as well as essentials like  drinking water, food, medicine and tents. The epicenter of the earthquake was in  Lushan, a rural county 160 km southwest of the provincial capital, Chengdu.  China’s state-run Xinhua News Agency quotes  local officials as saying that there have been at least 192 deaths,  more than 11,000 injured and that 23 people remain missing. However, confirming  death tolls and damage to buildings has proved difficult, because police have  been stopping both foreign and Chinese media from entering Lushan county from  the nearby city of Ya’an.

My Comment:

With the increase in earthquakes, diseases, lawlessness/murders, sunspots, and christian persecution, one would have to be pretty blind to not see that even now Jesus tells us he’s near.

Luke 21:11

There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.

Times are even worse than they were a few months ago, where these “signs of the end” God gave us, are increasing in strength, and becoming more frequent.

2 Timothy 3:1-4

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

What I’ve posted in this article is only a small fraction of what’s occurring now, and what is yet to come.

Matthew 24:21-22

For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

Stay awake! We must remain strong in Jesus, putting on the armor of God, praying, preaching His Word and awaiting Our King!

Matthew 24:42-44

Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Skull of “holy” Pacificus

At least the flowers were colorful.

Pacificus was a disciple of St. Francis of Assisi, born probably near Ascoli, Italy, in the second half of the twelfth century; died probably at Lens, France, c. 1234.

Stay put around the good shepherd

How to protect the flock from attacks of wolves?

Follow Jesus. honor Him. He will keep you safe.

Jesus the Messiah warned us that there would come wolves in sheep clothing attacking the flock.

Even Satan can appear as an angle of light.

The best way to avoid being attacked by wolves, is to stay put inside the flock that always listen to the Good Shepherd.  Believe in the words he gave us. from the first letter in Genesis, to the last in the book of Revelation.

Matthew 9:36
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

He knows them, and they always listen to His voice.

All hired men will surely ran away, when troubles comes. But Jesus will never leave you, nor forsake you.

John 10:12

The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it.

John 10:11
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Happy feast and festival with the Lamb of God

Jesus was not our Easter egg. He is not a bunny. The Messiah is the lamb of God.

He was raised from the dead for our justification. By His blood we have been washed clean from the stains of all sins.

During this festival season, we remember God’s atoning sacrifice for our sins. Jesus took our place on the cross. He was crucified, and laid in a tomb. After three days and there nights the Messiah rose from the dead. The Son of God is alive.

Praise God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel for the blood of Yeshua. His blood cleanses us from stains and guilt for all sins. His blood gives us life.

May the God of Israel bless you and keep you.  May the Holy Spirit guide your steps, so you do not get trapped into deception. May you forever praise and honor the Son who set you free.

Only the Messiah can save you and give you eternal life. Amen.

 John 8:36
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
