Connecticut’s Lieberman: U.S. should release photos of a dead Osama

“It may be necessary to release photos to convince the world that Osama bin Laden is dead”.

This is not a voice on the streets of New York City. This is the demand from Senator Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee.

“Unless there’s an acknowledgment by people in al-Qaida that bin Laden is dead, then it may be necessary to release the pictures, as gruesome as they undoubtedly will be because he’s been shot in the head, to quell any doubts that this somehow is a ruse that the American government has carried out,” Lieberman told a news briefing.

“So my own instinct is that it’s probably necessary to release those pictures, but I will respect whatever decision the president makes … Based on information that I’ve received, I am absolutely convinced that the man who was killed yesterday was Osama bin Laden.”

My comment:

The independent senator Joe Lieberman can not be accused of being a conspiracy theorist. It is simply plain logic, that a captured dead body is presented to the local police officer in charge, before the final death certificate is issued.

Obama’s victory speeches set aside:

The death of Osama Bin Laden is not a private TV-party affair for the staff in the White House.

We who like to work by the protocols of death and burial, are still waiting for the evidence from Washington.

No proof provided of the death of Osama

The U.S. government did not immediately release any photographs or other visual evidence to confirm the death.

President Obama claims Osama is dead. But no proff has been provided.

A senior U.S. intelligence official said bin Laden was “visually identified” at the compound by U.S. Special Operations Forces and by one of his wives.

On Monday morning, U.S. officials completed tests that showed a “virtually 100 percent match of the body” with DNA collected from other bin Laden family members.

US officials declined to say whether an autopsy was conducted.

Analysts predicted that al-Qaeda itself would soon confirm bin Laden’s death, as the network customarily has within short order after other top leaders have been killed. They said it was likely that bin Laden had pre-recorded a video or audio message that would now be released.

My comment:

When Saddam Hussein was captured, the Pentagon quickly published photos confirming his arrest.

Why is there no picture of the dead body of Osama Bin Laden?

Let us say that Washington became aware that Bin Laden is already dead of kidney failure.

If so, the al-Quada would never admit that their icon leader has died. And the US could never provide evidence, that they had been able to kill the man they have spent 2 trillion US dollar to silence.

To kill an already dead man, and dump a corpse in the sea, would be a unique publicity stunt for the White House. Who would ever be able to prove them wrong?

Only if Osama Bin Laden appear on TV, and prove that He is still alive…

I guess if Washington has hundred per cent secure evidence that Osama has died of kidley failure, the risk of him appearing on TV alive is zero. And who will now believe al-quada, if they claim Osama Bin Laden died long ago?

Will we ever come to know the truth?

Hamas slams killing of ‘holy warrior’ Osama

The Palestinian Islamist group Hamas condemned the killing of Osama bin Laden an “Arab holy warrior.”

This was a comment recorded from Hamas Gaza Strip leader Ismail Haniyeh.

“We regard this as a continuation of the American policy based on oppression and the shedding of Muslim and Arab blood,” Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas administration in the Gaza Strip, told reporters.

Though he noted doctrinal differences between bin Laden’s al-Qaida and Hamas, Haniyeh said: “We condemn the assassination and the killing of an Arab holy warrior. We ask God to offer him mercy with the true believers and the martyrs.”

Haniyeh’s reported comments came following an earlier remark by a Palestinian Authority spokesman who said Monday the killing of Osama bin Laden by U.S. forces was “good for the cause of peace”.

My comment:

It is interesting to see the different reaction in the Arab Palestinian camp.

The highly US and EU sponsored al-Fatah (PLO) has approved the intelligence operation that brought Osama Bin Laden to silence. That will secure future cash gifts from the Western Allies of the PLO.

Hamas are not funded by the US, but receives funds from Syria and Iran. Damascus and Teheran are not to happy with Obama scoring a political victory, that disregard Radical Islam. So Hamas will not express their support for the CIA-Pentagon operation deep into Pakistan.

Cash is the King. Also within the Jihad movement.

In his weekly radio address last week, Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad announced that his government would soon resume administrative duties in eastern Jerusalem neighborhoods.

Fayyad noted that the PA had already allocated half-a-million dollars to altering the curriculum in Arab schools in Jerusalem, and that it would also bolster health and judicial services.

The move is a direct violation of the Palestinians’ signed agreements with Israel, which prohibit Palestinian administrative activity in Jerusalem. It is seen as part of the new Palestinian Authority strategy of unilaterally seizing control of the lands it claims and winning international backing for sovereignty over them.

My Comment:

It does not matter what the Palestinians or anyone else thinks about Israel. God long ago promised Israel to its people and His promise still stands.
