Bible study # 61: The consept of “peace”

Jews, Christians and Muslims have a totally different understanding of the concept of “peace”.

Only the Messiah can bring true peace between man and God.

Many people talks about “peace”, and how they love “peace”.

But do we really have the same understanding of this word and the concept of “peace”?

When we say “God is love” the Bible surly not explaining “agape” as love for hamburgers, or “love at first sight”.

So what about “peace”?

For a religious Jew, “peace” is a concept when every Jew obey God. Only when a qualified numbers of Jews up hold the Sabbath, there can be true Shalom. The key to “Peace” lies in the hands of man.  The reason why Israel and Jews do not live in “peace”, is their own disobedience towards the Law of Moses.

Messianic Christians and Jews will have a totally different understand of “peace”. They will claim the Messiah has brought us peace with God. That is the only true peace there is. This peace is not a product of mans work, bur purely an act of God Him self.

The only peace deal there is, was signed when Jesus the Messiah gained His victory at the cross at Calvary Hill in Jerusalem 2.000 years ago.

Jesus the Messiah said that He would bring us peace. But not “peace” as the World understand it, or the “peace” that can be found through compromising on the truth. This is the peace that exist in the midst of tribulation, and will overcome the worst of storms.

 John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

For a Muslim, both the Jewish and Christian understanding of “peace” is fraudulent. Every Muslim has from childhood been told that “peace” can only be found, the day all humans live in submission to those who follow “allah” and his messenger Muhammad.  To achieve this “peace” there must first be war. War against the infidels.

This is deception, that leads people away from the truth.

 Ezekiel 7:25
When terror comes, they will seek peace, but there will be none.

 Ezekiel 13:10
“‘Because they lead my people astray, saying, “Peace,” when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash.

The worst obstacle to Islam, the way towards “peace” is the existence of a Jewish state in the heart of the Middle East. It is simply not possible for Muslims to achieve “peace” as long as this Zionist state is present on Earth.

To put this in a Messianic perspective:

 Romans 8:6
The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace;

Colossians 1:20
and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

The final antichrist will build his P.E.A.C.E plan on a global compromise. Those who stand on the Messianic version of peace, ca obviously not accept this falsehood. The price will be everyone claiming that the followers of Yeshua being the enemy of “peace”.

 Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

2 Peter 1:2
Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

You have to be one of them, if you have the Kingdom of Heaven in mind, and understand that the purpose of our faith is the salvation of our souls. Regardless if there is war or peace around us.

Never any downtime for “settler” bashing

Israeli scrutiny of other Jews common place among media, leaders; “appeases” PA.

The Jews in Judea and Samaria is attacked by people who hate God of the Bible.
Jews in Judea and Samaria is attacked by people who hate God of the Bible.

This is parts of freelance journalists Josh Hasten letter to the editor of Jerusalem Post.

– It seems that hardly a week passes without one entity or another, whether foreign leaders, our own (at times backed by the muscle of our security forces) or journalists aren’t guilty of singling out the Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria for scrutiny, investigations, or in extreme cases even justifying or encouraging acts of violence directed against us.

Take for example a JTA article published this week in The Jerusalem Post, in which more than 100 US Jewish leaders signed a letter urging Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to make clear “Israel’s readiness to make painful territorial sacrifices for the sake of peace.”

In other words, from their pedestals in the “Golden Medina” more than 5,000 miles away, these power-wielding and influential know-it-alls are recommending that the prime minister ignore the disaster brought upon Israel as a result of the 2005 Gush Katif expulsion, and instead should express a willingness to relinquish more land in Judea and Samaria to our enemies.

Not only are these leaders showing that they couldn’t care less about the immense suffering still experienced by the Jews from Gaza to this very day and what certainly would be intense trauma for an additional tens of thousands of Israelis forced out of their homes, they’re willing to ignore the results of that move – namely a 500 percent increase in rocket attacks and a Hamas takeover.

All of this simply to appease the Palestinian Authority, which time after times prove its core mandate, as indicated by its official logo and daily incitement, is the establishment of the State of Palestine replacing the entire Jewish state.

My comment:

The Jews have a God given right to live in Judea and Samaria.

I support the Jewish settlers, and will forever buy products made on the Mountains of Zion.

 Isaiah 52:7

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

To attack the Jews who live inside the Biblical heartland of Israel, is an attack on God of Israel.  Jesus the Messiah is not a rebel, that has canceled the promises given by His Father. Jesus said: The Father and I are One. Amen.

Please stand up for the state of Israel. Please stand up for the Jews who live in Judea and Samaria.

Canada calls for dismissal of Richard Falk

UN’s Falk wrote article that said Israel was “slouching toward nothing less than a Palestinian holocaust.”

The anti-Zionism of Robert Falk has made him a laughing stock and ready for dismissal.
The anti-Zionism of Robert Falk has made him a laughing stock and ready for dismissal.

Canada called on the United Nations Human Rights Council to dismiss its special investigator Richard Falk after he accused Israel of “genocidal” intentions against the Palestinians in a brief English language interview on Russian television.

“Canada has previously called for Falk to be fired for his numerous outrageous and anti-Semitic statements and these comments underscore once more the complete and total absurdity of his service as a UN Special Rapporteur,” Canada’s Foreign Minister John Baird said in a statement he issued on Monday.

I call on the United Nations Human Rights Council – once again – to remove Falk from this position immediately,” Baird said. He added that his country rejects Falk’s comments.

“Not only do these comments undermine the fundamental values of the UN, they also belittle the terrible genocides that have tragically taken place throughout history and around the world,” Baird said.

He spoke in the aftermath of Falk’s brief appearance on December 15 on Russia’s English television news program RT. Falk was interviewed for only a few seconds as part of a larger program on Israel that included an argument that it was Israel, not Iran, which had a dangerous nuclear program.

Falk was asked about a past article he had written in which he said that Israel was “slouching toward nothing less than a Palestinian holocaust.”

Falk told RT, “When you target a group, an ethnic group and inflict this kind of punishment upon them, you are in effect nurturing a kind of criminal intention that is genocidal.”

Israel’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor also attacked Falk’s statements. “This man has already branded himself as the radical version of extremism,” Palmor said.

My comment:

Anti-Zionism leads people into all kinds of errors.  One of them is wild and baloney accusations against the state of Israel.

The UN special envoy reduces the word “genocide” to a joke. The loss of life’s among the Arabs, because of Israeli law and enforcement, are in their hundreds.  And most of the deaths on the Arab side, are caused by Islamic inspired hostility against the Jewish state.

Even a child will be able to understand how Arabs keeps on harming their own interests.

To use the word “Holocaust” to defame Israel, is so off the mark that we must question if the old professor is demonized. He might be in deep need of deliverance.

Repent, or perish.
