Matthew 27:5 So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself. You might be puzzled by Judas. Since he was one of the disciples of Jesus the Messiah.
- He knew the Messiah personally.
- He was the trusted caretaker of the money bag.
- He saw all the miracles performed by the Son of God.
- He had good relations to the authorities.
- He was granted a gift and a bonus from the authorities.
Luke 22: 1 to 5
Now the Festival of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching, and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus, for they were afraid of the people. Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. They were delighted and agreed to give him money. 6 He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present.
It has during the ages been quite normal to be puzzled by what went wrong with Judas. After watching Christians faling into submission to the rulers of this World, and being granted bonuses for being their Covid-19 partner, I fully understand. I am aware of what what kind of spirt that has taken over thousands of Christian congregations. Claimed to be pastors taking the way of Judas, betraying the souls who the Messiah have told them to take care of.
The gates of Hell shall not prevail against the true Church of Jesus the Messiah. During pleagues and treat of imprisonment, this Church have never been closed. But it has during the ages of dictatorships been necessary to work from underground bunkers. The persecuted Church have always been able to win new souls. Their work will never end before we see the Messiah coming in the clouds of heaven, and making a touch down on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. That will be a glorious day, when the butchers will be hald accountable for the blood of the martyrs.
When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.
Be ready for a rocky ride, just before His second coming. Stay put in your faith in Him. Regardless of anything.
