This is one very unsmart move by the “friend” of Israel. Even if the Arabs (palestinians) refuse this deal, another precedent has been set, which is all going to culminate in the Man of Sin coming in his own name, and showing no respect whatever to the God of his fathers (Abraham Isaac, and Jacob).
Somehow I don’t think the current US president fits the bill for the Man of Sin.
However, to publicly present deals to divide up Israel, which has already been done in previous generations, will bring about a swift retribution from the God of Abraham in His time and in His own way. And He will not ask for anyone’s permission.

Two things:
1. When I used to attend at a nondenominational church, the pastor there would make a distinction between religion vs relationship. On a certain level I get his meaning, but looking back, it’s really a silly comparison. Why? Because the word “religion” comes from Old French / Latin meaning “to bind”.
What is it Christ wanted? For His followers to be united as branches to Him, the Vine. Bound by The New Covenant. They will already be in relationship with Him having entered the household of God (the Church = the Body of Christ) by spiritual adoption if their faith is living & active. Family.

They have chosen to reinterpret Scripture from its historical meaning. They have chosen willfully to do this. The Scriptures & the writings of the Early Church Fathers (EFC) stand authoritatively in opposition to such teachings.

I hear this same argument frequently online. It underscores a lack of knowledge of history.
