JERUSALEM (Reuters) – The Israeli navy seized a Swedish-flagged sailboat attempting to breach a blockade of the Palestinian Gaza Strip on Saturday, the military said.
The 12 passengers are mostly from Sweden but also from Germany, Britain, Spain, France and Canada. They are in custody and will be put on flights home, a spokeswoman for the Israeli Immigration Authority said.
The SY Freedom for Gaza was carrying mainly medical supplies and two of its passengers were journalists, said an organizer from a group named Ship to Gaza which organized the trip.
“Ship to Gaza demands that those who have been taken prisoner and the ship and its cargo are returned to the location where the ship was boarded and are allowed to continue their journey in international and Palestinian waters unmolested, in accordance with international law,” the group said in a statement.
Israel says its naval blockade of Gaza is intended to prevent weapons from reaching militant groups, including Hamas, the Islamist movement that controls the Palestinian enclave. Israel and the United States designate Hamas as a terrorist organization.

My comment:
Islamic jihad has solid supports in the Scandinavian nations of Norway and Sweden. Within a week, two ships from these countries have tried to break the Israeli naval blockade enforced on the Hamas-regime in Gaza. For the past years, this kind of “Scandinavian jihad” against Israel has been repeated by several shipments.
There are a few obvious reasons for why Norway and Sweden have sided with radical Islam’s war against the Jewish state.
The first are the mass-immigration of muslims into these nations. The muslims gets around 3.000 USD per month in governmental support each month. Many are granted citizenship, and given a right for their full families to immigrate and live on public pensions.
The other, is cultural Scandinavian based antisemitism. A newly produced documentary film in Sweden, by the right wing “Sverigedemokratarane” exposed that Nazism was embraced by the Swedish Social Democratic Party before it became the ruling ideology in Germany.
This movie has English sub-titles and explain the background for the present Scandinavian policies towards Israel.
The swedes looked up on them self as a supreme Germanic people, who deserved to rule. As they did in Northern Europe for centuries. Norwegians helped the Gestapo to round up 50 per cent of the Jews in Norway in one night in 1942, and shipped them to Auzwich. The latest “ships to Gaza” just expose that the Scandinavians continue down the same path. Most of the people close their eyes or simply deny this grim reality, as they live in an extreme hedonistic culture.

‘The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.
Jesus the Messiah will judge these nations accordingly. Not only their support of sodomy and production of “Lebensbarn”, children from birth denied their right to have a mother and a father. But also their blunt support for Islamic jihad against the only free and democratic nation in the Middel East. Repent, or perish.
