Israeli anger at Unesco motion’s failure to link holy site to Judaism.
Resolution denies importance of site in Jerusalem’s Old City to Jews by referring to it only under Muslim name, politicians say.
The United Nations cultural and heritage body, Unesco, has condemned Israel’s “escalating aggressions” regarding the holy site in Jerusalem’s Old City, known to Muslims as al-Haram al-Sharif and to Jews as the Temple Mount, prompting a furious reaction from Israeli politicians.
A resolution passed on Thursday denied the importance of the site to the Jewish faith by referring to it and the al-Aqsa mosque only by their Muslim names, the politicians said.
The site has been a flashpoint between Muslims and rightwing Jews over the past two years in particular, although tensions in the vicinity stretch back decades.
The resolution was backed by 24 countries, with six opposing it and 26 abstaining. The US, UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania and Estonia voted against the resolution; Russia and China were among those backing it.
While affirming the importance of the Old City to all three monotheistic faiths – Judaism, Islam and Christianity – the resolution failed to acknowledge Jewish connections to Temple Mount/al-Haram al-Sharif, Israel said.

My comment:
The United Nations (UN) has become an absurd theater. If there was no Judaism, there would be no Christianity. If there was no Temple Mount, there would be no Jesus. And the Bible is a collection of false testimonies.
And for all Muslims, this kind of bid to rewrite history, will be equally disastrous for them. Because most of the Koran is based on the Old Testament of the Bible. Keep in mind that Islam is a young religion, formed around 630 A.D. Islam also claim that Jesus has existed. In fact, Jesus (ISA) is a prophet according to the followers of Muhammad.
Every honest Muslim will have to agree that Jesus was a part of the people of Israel. There are amplified archeological evidence that there have been two Jewish temples in Jerusalem. The second temple, a place where the Messiah walked and talked. It is only He who can save a man from his sins. Let him be a Jew, a Muslim or a Christian.

Jesus was a Jew. He kept the Law and celebrated all the Biblical festivals, today, honored only by Judaism. How can it be, that the faith of the Messiah have become “antichristan”?
The Jews rejected Jesus and were the very ones who insisted that he was crucified. The high priests and leaders of the Jews hated Jesus because he claimed to be the son of god and the one true messiah. We are not saved by keeping the law but we are saved by faith in Jesus as the pure sacrifice for our sin. The law can only condemn us, it cannot save us. Anyone who is trusting in their ability to keep the law for salvation is already condemned.
“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”
The bible says the whole law is summed up in one commandment. And that is to love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself!

It is simly not true to write “The Jews” insisted that Jesus should be crucified. God the Father insisted. If Jesus had not been crucified for our sins, ALL OF US, than we would all continue to be lost. Many Jews belived in Jesus. Open your bible and read.

Judaism can never be the base for the antichrist. Judaism claim there will come a Messiah. Judaism is not a false religion, and can never be. But Judaism, without the Messiah being known, is an incomplete faith system. Messianic Judaism correctly claim that the Messiah has come, and that Yeshua is the Messiah. No need to wait for anyone else.
Can’t stand the ignorance! Prophesy is proof! The Bible is true, and proof is that the Jews are still here, they are in their land, they continue to observe the Passover, they speak a pure language -Hebrew.
