Mariam: Don’t pray for persecution to end

Middle Eastern Christian Woman Tells Americans Not to Pray for Persecution to End.

Prayer1
To face persecution and even death, is the narrow path made for followers of Jesus, God of Israel.

Although Christians in the west might view persecution as a bad thing, Maryam and many other Middle Eastern Christians view persecution as a necessity to help the Church continue to grow in a hostile part of the world.

Prayer2
Over large parts of the World, its a death penalty for being a witness for the true Messiah.

“The persecution is getting worse and worse and worse,” Maryam said. “But on the other hand actually, what has encouraged me, encouraged my faith, encouraged my church, encouraged everybody Christian in [the region] is that is the Church is increasing.”

This past Sunday, Maryam visited MeadowBrook Baptist Church in Gadsden, Alabama, and shared the story of how her father was sentenced to six months in jail after he complained to police about a Muslim man who was blocking the entrance to his store, threatening to kill him and disfigure his daughters with acid.

Maryam explained that while some radical Muslims are brutally killing and persecuting so called non-believers and claim to be acting in the name of Allah, many other Muslims in the Middle East are starting to open their eyes and ask serious questions about the religion they espouse.

“A lot of Muslim people now, they are so confused about what is going on now. A lot of them are asking, ‘Who is this God whose name is Allah, who orders people to slaughter?'” she said. “They are confused and they are asking and wondering now days about ISIS and about what is going on.

“We are talking to them and asking them ‘Please, open your Quran and search what is written,'” Maryam continued.

My comment:

It is astonishing to listen to claimed to be Christians, who pray for persecuted Christians. Like: “Jesus please stop this persecution”.  Christians in the Western World at large, have never faced persecution and the possibility of martyrdom.  This is the main reason for why there is no revival, and their faith communities getting smaller and marginalized.

Revelation 20:4
I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshipped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

The Messiah have made it crystal clear. All who what to follow Him will have to renounce their life in the flesh, and face persecution. Even untimely death.  That is why the biblical prayer for all Christians, is the radical opposite of what is uttered in many Churches. “Dear Jesus., Teach your children how to face persecution, and endure it. May our enemies come to faith, by seeing us choosing life in You over death. Amen”.

Are you willing to ask Jesus to lead you through perception? And do ou support, supply and stand united with persecuted Christians? Or are you just one of those lukewarm religious people, who have become a friend of the world?

Examine your self. If you do not repent, you will surely perish.

  1. AMEN! We are IN the world NOT of it! True believers will be persecuted. We may not get our heads cut off in the states yet, but we are shunned and persecuted in other ways by un-believers and “supposed” believers. Supposed believers are almost worse because IF they truly believed they would stand next to you not on the other side of the room whispering to the un-believer “don’t believe everything he/she says”. What is so sad about that is we as TRUE Believers are only repeating what THE LORD has said!
    Galatians 4:16
“16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?”

  2. I pray, Lord help them to be faithful as we ask for ourselves, and also help them be strong and endure the trials they face now and the trials to come. There is persecution coming to the West and it is now here. Persecution comes in many ways, losing ones jobs and businesses because you are a Christian and want to obey our LORD, losing friends and relatives, persecution from fellow (so called) believers etc. Another type is we are told not to proselytize, which is in disobedience to our Lord and Savior. We do it anyway, that many may be saved. America is in trouble, the evil ones are working hard to make this persecution happen because they hate Jesus, and it’s a sad shame because they know not what they do, for hell is where they are headed. Pay attention!! Quote from Hillary: “All the laws we’ve passed don’t count for much if they’re not enforced, rights have to exist in practice, not just on paper. Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will, and DEEP SEEDED CULTURAL CODES, RELIGIOUS BELIEFS AND STRUCTURAL BIAS’S HAVE TO BE CHANGED.” see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yj1T1gP4Q9M Jesus says, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation (trouble): But be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

  3. Amen. Great article. We will soon get our chance to be persecuted! Overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony!
