Roman Catholics in El Salvador carry the shirt of a murdered Catholic bishop on their shoulders. The Pope considers canonization.

Oscar Romero – the Roman Catholic archbishop murdered during the 1980-92 civil war – has been beatified at a ceremony in El Salvador attended by huge crowds.
At least 250,000 people have filled the streets of the capital San Salvador for the ceremony. It is the last step before Archbishop Romero is declared a saint.
He was shot dead by a sniper as he celebrated Mass in a hospital chapel on 24 March 1980.
No-one has been prosecuted for the murder. The beatification ceremony was presided over by Vatican envoy Cardinal Angelo Amato, who made a call for forgiveness.
“His preference for the poor was not ideological, but evangelical. His charity extended to his persecutors,” he said.

All regret murders. Also the murder of Latin American Roman Catholic priest Oscar Romero. May his assassins be caught, face judgment and be sentenced to life imprisonment.
But to parade his shirt in public, as a “holy item” is not only outright stupidity. These men defame the true Christian faith in Jesus the Messiah.
I have seen a lot related to Roman Catholic worship of skulls, bones and corpses. But I cant recall seeing anything as tasteless as this.
The worst side of this religious ritual, is the deceptions that will follow the occurrence of false miracles. The occult realm is mobilized. The Roman Catholic will pray to the departed soul, and hope for a reply. They will touch the shirt, and hope for a touch of god.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
Demons and unclean spirits love to operate in such environments. Where the World of God is set a side for man made philosophy, and where bishops and priests call on mediums. This acts in the name of “Christ” is witchcraft. People get solidly caught up in delusions.
The Bible says true followers of the Messiah, shall pray in His name. And honor the Creator only. All who claim divine powers from created items, will eventually be cursed, cut of and thrown into the everlasting fire.
I can not give you a more stern warning than this. Remember, I loved you enough to tell you the truth. Please keep away from such gatherings of the wicked.
May Jesus the Messiah have mercy on all deceived souls.

Holy shirt. It reminds me of the woman in the bible who touched Jesus’s cloak, and her daughter was healed. But in actuality it was believing in Jesus that healed her daughter, rather than the touching of his cloak.
Dear Edward.
Shalom, and love in Jesus.
Please do not parade my shirt in public, after my death. If you do, I will sue you….
There were people touching the garments of the apostles too. And even walking into their shade.
Acts 5:15
As a result, people brought those who were ill into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.
Acts 19:11
God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to those who were ill, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.
But these appostles were all alive. The Popes “saints” are all dead. Truly a death cult.
THIS PLANET IS CURSED AND DOOMED:
Yeah, the apostles had power. I sort of wonder if they had those abilities because of spending time doing things like prayer, fasting and giving to the poor. And also because they did everything in Jesus name.
Dear Edward.
Shalom, and love in Jesus.
The apostles had power. But not in their own capasity. Jesus anoints whomever He desire with the same powers. For His own preplanned works and purposes. There are apostles today. And there are false apostles. Nothing has changed.
The apostles had the ability to pass on the holy spirit to others. Like Simon the sorcerer wanted to buy the power from them, they deemed him unworthy because it couldn’t be bought.
But anyway none of their belongings were ever considered holy, not like that. But the wicked did cast lots for Jesus’ clothes when he was crucified. So I don’t disagree with your article. It seems like idolatry to think the belongings have power.
Excellent exposure.
