If the Pope was a Christian, he would have learned, understood and preached the gospel. Not this kind of deceptive stuff. There are many problems related to the papacy. One of the problem is that his laws, traditions and dogmas has lead to massive confusion. In particular inside the head of Roman Catholic priests, bishops and cardinals.

As simple as this. If you are born a Roman Catholic, and refuse to adress the local priest as “Father”, you will be excommunicated.

I watched the whole video and I pray for the Pope. That God Bless him and keep him strong.

This Pope discourages people from kissing his ring. So we let Francis speak and then weigh those words up against what scripture teaches.
Paul advises that we be like the noble Jews of Berea, listen carefully and then privatel search the scriptures to see if what is being taught is true.

Absolutely nothing wrong with those words taken in isolation.
However, the author of those words also says we cannot be part of the church unless we accept Mary as our mother.
The Bible supports his tweet, but not his stance on how membership of the church is achieved.
This is why the Bible teaches us to be vigilant.

Not at all.
We are pardoned of our sin by the sacrifice of the Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Having been pardoned of our sin we must then pardon those who sin against us in order to remain pardoned of our own transgressions.
The prayer is more a list of philosophical observations of how an individual can live a good life masquerading as a man of God.
Mrs Thatcher, former PM of the UK recited this prayer on the steps of 10 Downing St. History records who many people suffered under her governance as she attempted to correct many problems that beset Britain during her time in office.
The prayer was said for show, she may have desired to be percieved as having those qualities but the realities of life in office then revealed a different side.

The above is an instruction, we are advised to be doers of the word lest we might deceive ourselves.
So, we could go through the prayer line by line, hold on to that which is in agreement with scripture and let go of everything else.
The line I chose to pay attention to says
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
We must first receive forgiveness from God through the sacrifice of His Son, we cannot simply pardon others in order to receive that forgiveness, we must recognise that the wages of sin is death and without acknowledging what Christ did for us we cannot have forgiveness.
We then must change in attitude and be forgiving in order not to lose that salvation.
The line suggests the author believes he can secure his own salvation through his own forgiving nature without acknowledging his own salvation was purchased by Christ.
Which would be called ‘work based salvation’.

The above describes the Catholic system and those who administer it.
There is a lot of gold, purple robes, incense burning, genoflecting and crossing of hearts.
The verse says of their practices ‘in vain they do worship me’, none of the clothing or the practices are acceptable to God, He calls them ‘traditions of men, taught as doctrine’.
Like I said, the pope says that a person would have to acknowledge Mary as their mother in order to become a member of the church. A tradition, taught as doctrine.
We have to split hairs in order to establish the truth we are to hold on to and to identify that which we should let go of.
As we would be expected to do something that is not scriptural in order to secure membership of this church, we must take the narrow road out of it.
There are two groups in the above church.
The deceivers and the deceived.
Jesus said of the deceivers that they will stand before Him and give account of themselves saying that they cast out demons in His name, but He will say ‘away from me, I never knew you’.
Among the deceived there are those who are lost, and they will be called out, but, they might not respond, preferring to stay in what they wrongly perceive to be a safe place.

There is a difference between yet, a person who has discerned the truth may be perceived to be being judgemental having examined the words of a person and weeding out truth from lies.
You also refer to removing the plank from our own eyes before trying to remove a splinter from the eye of someone else.
The individual with the splinter in his eye cannot see the plank in his brothers eye either and must rely on someone coming along who can see clearly in order to help him.

The Prophet Daniel identified who this “KING” would be 600 years before Jesus set foot on earth

Thanks for this comment. The start of Pope Francis term as Pope, was a very particular moment. A German Pope was forced to step aside, and an Argentinian Cardinal was appointed. Now we have two Popes.
In fact we have three. The Black Pope, the Jesuit General is also there. He is a spaniard. NON of the three on top are Italians. Truly remamably, since 217 of the 266 previous Popes have been Italians (Romans).

The Pope do not need any navy. He just needs the nations to accept His claimed authority. To see the Kings and Presidents come and bow before him. Than the forces of the kingdom of darkness will see the will of Satan done.

Prayer means talking to God. Sure, there are different ways for different situations. Maybe it’s me but when you’ve got your prayers all framed up, written in caligraphy and posted on Twitter they seem for outward show. A prayer like that isn’t fit for a closet, who would hear it but God? Then God might say, as he did to the rich man, wonderful prayer, now give away all your belongings and follow me. If the “Church” is boring, find your self some living Christians to have fellowship with. Jesus never said we should isolate our selves, nor operate alone.

That seems to say we have fellowship with one another even when we aren’t packed in the same room with a minister telling us what we should be thinking. If I was going to “operate” it might be like “Bass and Baptism”, meet down by the river like back in the good old days. But I would never be a minister because I have a messed up eye from an accident. For all I know anyone I meet is a Christian and is my brother or sister, so I treat everyone like they are, unless they prove themselves otherwise.
My family and I left the catholic religion and we read and study God’s Word together. When we left we searched for a church home…sadly all we kept finding were mega churches. Jesus said in book of Matthew :

This is a good question. Yes, I was a not believing, but practising Catholic before I was saved. Comming from an atheist background, I married a Catholic girl. And I jonied my RC family for mass.
Today, I would rather be martyred, than to participate in and ancknowledge the Roman Catholic mass. I will never again take the Eucharist. To do so, I will consider to be my betrayal of Jesus of the Bible. It will never happen.
Yes, I am back in Roman Catholic buldings, also Churches. I have too. Because some of my findings related to Catholicism and the history of the RCC, can only be found inside these buildings. I arrange for guided trips, etc.

Why not take the Eucharist?
When I tell Roman Catholic about what the priest think he is doing, some of them get raving mad on me. A clear cut manifestation of the unclean spirit that has invented this ritual.
Not even when I ask them: “Why do only the priests drink the blood?”, they are able to listen. The parishoners are refused the very drink, their priests claim cleanses us from sins.
Most people are not able to debate the Eucharist, because they are completely ignorant of the dogmas of the RCC. They just walk around as lukewarm beings, feeling that this issue is of no importance. They are mortally wrong. The doctrine of the Eucharist is the core doctrine of the RCC, and it is built on blasphemy from A to Z.

I feel there should be no legalistic rule to this question. Believers might be back benchers at funerals for vaid reasons. But keep in mind that Jesus tells his followers, not to go to funerals for unbelivers, who have been promised salvation by false priests.

There is a tremendous pain in the heart of believers from Catholic background the moment a non-beliving family member dies. It is almost not explainable, and obviously can hardly be understood by people who are not from Catholic background.
There are also Roman Catholics who came to faith in the last days of their life, and their non-believing family members arrange for a Roman Catholic funeral.
In such circumstances, attendence of a believer for a funeral, as a back bencher, send a very stong signal to the people who are aware that the conserned person did not die as a Roman Catholic, and that the dark powers of the priest were eventually broken.
There was an example in my colony last month.

Hey Elizabeth. I noticed Matt 18:20 seems to be in the context of resolving problems in the church. The context, two or three taking someone aside who is causing a problem trying to convince them of there errors. It goes on to say if they can’t be convinced to treat them like a tax collector, which I imagine was not a nice way to be treated.
I like this passage for a church model. 1 Cor 14:26 “What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.”
Sort of a group meeting with a few senior members to keep it somewhat orderly. Not to be found anywhere today though.

The verse does in context refer to dealing with disputes between brothers.
First the aggrieved individual should go to his brother in private to hopefully address the issue and resolve it.
If the aggrieved individual does not resolve the issue then he is to take a couple of witnesses with him.
There has been an occasion where I found myself alone with an individual who I had had issues with.
When alone with this person I quoted ‘it is written, where two or three are gathered together, I am there in the midst of them’.
I asked the other person if he was there in the name of Christ, he said yes, I confirmed that I too was there in Christs name, and therefore because we were of one accord, we were confident that Christ was with us.
On previous occasions conversations with this individual had been difficult, he would not wait for a sentence to end before cutting in and deflecting attention away from an issue.
When were in agreement that day, we had the most interesting experience. We were in a vehicle and had to stop periodically at different locations to drop off goods. While we were alone in the vehicle we were engaged in civilised dialogue, he listened intently and only commented to address long standing issues that were finally being given the attention needed because we both acknowledged that we were in the company of the Son of God.
Fortunately the issues were resolved that day, but the passage does go on to tell us what to do if not satisfied, we are to bring witnesses, if that does not work we are to take it to the Church.
So, if my experience was the manifestation of God keeping His Word, then, for those who don’t have their issues resolved then the Church must exist somewhere today.
I would suggest studying scripture further, if you identify the message the Church is supposed to be delivering, then it may be possible to identify the Church.

Probably the worst part aobut the popes prayer is he gave no credit to Christ. The pope asks to be Gods instrument of peace but Christ is God’s instrument of peace, the pope wants to be clothed in Christs clothes instead of clothed in Christ.
And that seems to be a major problem in the end times. In revelations the angels pour out seven plagues on the earth to make the inhabitants of the earth repent and glorify him. But Jesus is scorned and mocked on the earth, same as he was on the cross. They cast lots for his clothes, and someone took his clothes. Christ gave them blood to drink, good wine of his new covenant, but they gave Christ sour wine in return.
Rev. 16:9 They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.

It has been difficult after leaving the catholic church to find a BIBLE ONLY church…I fear falling into more lies…I just want to study the Word and OBEY God through Jesus Christ…because He loved me before I loved Him…I am blessed beyond words!
Maybe just find one with people you like, who are nice. That’s how Christ says you’ll know who are his “because they love each other”. Could always study the bible on your own or online, or do bible studies.

I asked if you had been a practicing catholic before because I have a very sincere question. I have family (LOTS) that will NOT “come out of her”. I love them. I wonder about going back into that building with all its lies when a loved one passes away… Did the Lord call me “out of her” to go back in? I feel like if I do I will be in some sort of agreement with the system which I am not. I once thought the church and its statues and gold and altars were so beautiful…I have NEW eyes that the Lord has given me and now all that is ugly and dirty to me… it is hard to get those images out of your head…and to hear the mumbling of repetitive prayers… 😦

Jesus was talking about God the Father in heaven in John 16:14. Basically saying God the Father would glorify Christ by letting him use the Holy Spirit as he saw fit. Because God the Father put everything under Christ.
1 Cor 15:27 For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.

I know this is about semantics, but your error can lead you into herecy. Jesus “using” the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is not a tool for Jesus. The Holy Spirit is God, as Jesus is God. The are One God. Eternally God. Always in agreement. Jesus was replaced on Earth by God the Holy Spirit.
Which is why I pray without ceasing for the Grace of and Truth of Christ Jesus to help me overcome. This can be the only goal of a True Believer.

Jesus sends the Holy Spirit, The Holy Spirit is the power of God the Father, by which things get done. These verses are telling us very exactly about eight (7-8) beast (kings) through history (they are all political leaders).

This is the false prophet. Who is he? I think this false prophet is the incarnation of the Antichrist. The false prophet (the Antichrist) then turns out to be a religious leader, while the Beast will be a political leader.
Rev. 19, 20
And the beast (a political leader) was taken, and with him the false prophet (the Antichrist) that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
This verse proves that the Beast and the Antichrist in the endtime will be different persons!
In my opinion the false prophet / the Antichrist will happen be the pope of Rome. I also think the Beast will be the Mahdi of the coming califat, and he will be revealed in Istanbul in Turkey – as foretold in islamic hadits.

I have discovered that the book of Revelation is the most difficult book for Christians to understand. I must admit that the revelation recieved by John at Patmos, is not easy to grasp.
I am including my self. I do not phantom all the mysteries of the future. But many belivers reject the obvious, for a set of doctrines that blur the truth.
John got a vision into the future. This is around 70-80 A.D. No Pope, no prophet Muhammad has yet walked on the face of the Earth.
The early belivers were puzzled by who the antichrist and the false prophet might be. Not only the physical persons, but the spirit they are carrying in their heart.
By using the scripture and pure common sense:
Already in 350 A.D it was possible to understand that the newly established office of the Papacy was the seat of an antichrist. For all Baptists and Messianic belivers, this was obvious. The Roman Catholic Church countered them, by claiming that emperor Nero was the promised antichrist. Already come, dead and gone. This is a dogma in the RCC up till today.
If the Pope is the Antichrist, than 1.1 billion people stand royally deceived. No need t await a new movement, a hidden person. These decived souls attend the Pope’s unholy masses every day.
Another 500 million protestants are about to be decived by their apostane and corrupt leaders, who accept the authority of the Pope.
When Muhammad appears around 600 A.D, the false prophet is revealed. Millions of Jews and Christians are being slaughtered by the swords of the followers of this false prophet, as Islam expands up to Spain and east towards Malaysia. Today 1,4 billion people are lead towards the gates of destrruction, by a very evil and demonic force that can not be physically seen.
When 1.1 billion Catholics, 500 million apostate protestants and 1.4 billion Muslims unite into a compromising “peace movement” in the name of “god”, half of the globe has formed the ultimate decpetive religious movement. asbjolan, it seems there is more than one way to interpret scripture, and your interpretation is slightly different than mine, and rereading yours, it’s very close to the same outlook, except you see it as yet to come, and I see it as already gone by. “Saved by Christ living in them”….. The Roman Catholics are told that by taking the Eucharist, they make “Christ” living inside them. Simply by believing that “Christ” is physically present in the bread, and can be consumed.
As I have written before. Those who present the papacy as a Christian leader, are either completely ignorant, lukewarm beings, not paying attention to Roman Catholic dogmas. Or they really believe in the powers of the Roman Catholic priesthood.
Salvation has nothing, absolutely noting to do with human actions, rituals, and best wiches from priests. Salvation is fully, one hundred per cent, an act of God, that took place 2.000 years ago. The finished work of Jesus on the cross. Only by His blood, a man can be saved. To accept Jesus, is to surrender to Him as the ONLY way to the Father in Heaven. No other name, no “allah” no “Krishna”, no “Buddah” and no whatever.
The Pope says, “Not so”. You can be a Muslim beliver in god, a Buddhist or an Orthodox Jew, and your sins will be forgiven by your prayer and good deeds. It is called “love”. In 1985 Cormier was extended the rare honour and recognition of being invited to lunch with the Pope’s Apostolic Nuncio to Canada. Passing through the main Dining Hall with it’s seven foot fireplace and table seating at least fifty, The Nuncio, Charge D’Affairs, Secretary and Cormier entered a beautifully decorated, intimate Dining room with a table for twelve. The dinnerware had a gold band around the edge with the Papal tiara crown in gold at the top. It was a formal setting. with the whitest linen tablecloth and flowers.

Cormier said, “Surely Your Excellency knows the Prophet Ezekiel said what the sin of Sodom was in Chapter 16:48.[6] It was pride, fullness of bread and abundance of idleness was in her and her daughters and she was haughty. Neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. It had nothing to do with sexual activity.”
Sitting in the front seat of the limousine with the Man for all Seasons and Reasons living in the Gatehouse to the Apostolic Nunciature with his wife, and driving him home after lunch, he told Cormier his wife is a Cormier.

You fail to understand these sequence of scriptures. Simple logic and common sense, seems not to work on religious people.
Go to a Greece, and say there is no Greek!….And see what you get!. Tell the Americans, that there is no America. Tell a female that there are no longer male and females….
Paul’s point is: Salvation is no longer ONLY for Jews…Not that the Jewish people has wanished, and are no longer God’s chosen people.

It is bad advice to say ‘stop looking for the anti-christ, here he is’.
Our Bibles talk of the spirit of anti-christ, which produces anti-christs, and there will be one final anti-christ.
We have not been given reasons to believe Francis is the final one, so we should be advised to be constantly vigilant.
Working out our own salvation, that involves remembering that it came at a price.

I have not been able to find a single person, who during this debate have claimed that Pope Francis is the last and final antichrist. If you have, please share with us.
That the Pope in an antichrist, becomes obvious for all who believe in the Word of God, and watch this video. That the Pope is THE Antichrist, has been told in many Protestant Churches for the last 500 years. The list of Popes who have been antichrists are long. There were no other antichrists in their present age, who was close to be so powerful as the Bishop of Rome. The last and final antichrist did not appear.
In the present age, there is no better candidate for this post, than the present Pope.

Satan is Lucifer, the chief angel of the rebellion in Heaven. He was kicked out, and hurdeled down to Earth. Here he first apeared in physical form as a serpent, a snake. Satan also appeaed before God, as quoted in the book of Job. He also appear before Jesus, as the Messiah is tempted in the desert. Unfortunately for Judas, Satan entered him.

The commentary correctly identifies that the one who occupies the postion of pope as influenced by the spirit of antichrist and the final antichrist will most probably be a pope.
However, the Bible warns of antichrists but it does not say they come one at a time, it indicates that many will exist and operate at the same time, so, by believing only popes are antichrist we are at risk of being mislead by the others.
There fore while you pay close attention to what comes out of the vatican to alert your readers, it is important to understand that francis not the only person under the influence of the spirit of anti christ.
You will no doubt want to know of an example of anti christ at work.
