The Catholic Herald: New statement says God will save Jewish people even if they do not explicitly believe in Christ.
The Vatican has launched a new document on Catholic-Jewish relations which states that Catholics are called to witness their faith in Jesus before all people, including Jews.
But the document says that the Catholic Church “neither conducts nor supports” any institutional missionary initiative directed toward Jews.
How God will save the Jews if they do not explicitly believe in Christ is “an unfathomable divine mystery”, but one which must be affirmed since Catholics believe that God is faithful to his promises and therefore never revoked his covenant with the Jewish people, it says.
In the statement, “The Gifts and the Calling of God Are Irrevocable”, the Pontifical Commission for Religious Relations with the Jews gives thanks for 50 years of Catholic-Jewish dialogue and looks at some of the theological questions that have arisen in the dialogue and in Catholic theology since the Second Vatican Council.
The document explicitly states that it is not a “doctrinal teaching of the Catholic Church”, but a reflection based on doctrine and flowing from Vatican II’s declaration Nostra Aetate on Catholic relations with other religions.

What the Pope is doing, is basically deleting the gospel. And replace the divine message from God of the Bible, with the most heretic doctrines of them all. Deceiving the people of Israel, claiming they do not have to accept their own Messiah to get saved. That the Messiah of the “Christians” are not their promised Messiah.
This is exactly what the book of Thessalonians says. The Pope will set the Word of God aside, claiming to be God. The man who is truth, an infallible god-man in the flesh. The head of the Vatican is the promised ultimate replacement of the Messiah.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
The sole purpose of the Vatican II council in 1965, was to create a new One World religion, with the Pope as the head. To be able to achieve this, the gospel had to be set a side. So that all kinds of religious movements could accept the new universal, Catholic message. “God loves us all”. This is the mother of all lies. The truth is that “God loves us all in the Messiah, and only in Him”.
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.’
To escape the coming wrath of God, you will have to surrender to Him, and become His subject. Those who reject Him, will perish. Together with the Pope, and all who are deceived by the pontiff.
Repent or perish.

From this statement of the pope, we can draw important conclusions. And there are some alternatives:
1. The Pope do not understand the gospel.
2. Neither do all who still claim the Pope to be a Christian leader.
3. The “Christ” of the Catholics is not for the Jews.
4. And if the “Christ” of the Pope is not for the Jews, this copy of the Messiah can not save anyone else either.
All of these 4 points are propbably correct.
The Christ of the pope has something in common with the Christ of most professing Christians.
The catholic Christ and the protestant Christ share the same birthday.
Which one is the son God?
Allistair, be kind to our brothers and sisters who don’t know as much about the origins of Christmas. They are often loving and serving God truly. We must help them, when possible, with the Lord’s help.

I agree we have to be kind to all who celebrate “Christ mas”. I am kind to all who celebrate hindu festivals too.
This is not a matter of kindness, but a matter on truth.
In Norway, more and more pagans correctly claim that the Christians (read Catholics) tried to Christianize their pagan mid-winter festival. They are right. If we claim otherwise, we lie.
if you study the history on Rome, you will discover that most of the ancient Catholic shrines are built on the ruins of destroyed Pagan temples. It is the same here in Goa, the ancient Rome of the East. We can say that Catholicism is the continuation of paganizem in the name of “Christ”. Only the shape and the colors of the idols have changed.
Does this issue matter?
Yes, it do. Because Jesus the Messiah was not born on 25th of December, like the Papal dogma claims. And “Christ mas” is a “holy Roman Catholic mas”. It is the date for the ancient pagan Jupiter celebration in Rome, where the “sun God” was worshiped. It is an ancient Babylonian practice, spread all over the world, and honored in all pagan cultures on the Northern hemisphere. This Roman Catholic festival was set up on the date of this pagan festival. The darkest day of the year had just been passed, and the pagans prayed for their “Sun God” to return in all its brightness.
Please do no celebrate my birthday on the day the Pope desire. But love me everyday. Also on the 25th of December. I do honor Jesus my Lord on that day too.

The “Christ of Rome” is a copy cat Messiah, and his throne established on the site of the ancient Temple of Jupiter in Italy. This “Christ” is the successor of Jupiter, the ancient Babylonian and Roman head of the “gods”.
The best examples of Rome trying to replace God of Israel, is recorded as an event in Jerusalem, shortly after 70.A.D.

You are wrong. He is basically proeslyting them, by tricking them not to believe in the gospel. Before the Vatican II council, the Pope called his subjects to enforce Catholicism up on the World. From than onwards, the message from the Vatican has been that all religions shall have the Pope as their head.

I love this. A short comment from your hand. A simple point that the Bible is truth, and the Pope a liar. Anyone who disagree, are welcome to challenge your statement. Let us debate this important issue.
The pope says this about everyone! They say all people will go to heaven; Jews, atheists, Buddhists, Indians, Mormons, you name it. It is the lie of the devil. On the other hand the Catholic Church does teach they have replaced Israel. The pope is the false prophet with the false gospel! According to scripture he is to be accursed! Paul says, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let HIM be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If ANY MAN preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let HIM be accursed.” Galatians 1:8&9. He will lead all to follow the anti-Christ, and when he comes on the scene all people will worship the beast. Satan is a copy cat. He will try to replicate God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, even be killed and come back to life. The signing of the 7 year covenant by anti-Christ with Israel will begin the 7 year tribulation.

You just touched an interesting topic, if the Vatican has falsified the apostolic creed. Yes, the Pope has.
According to Roman Catholic dotrines:
The Father is the Pope (Holy Father)
The Son is the Pope (The Vicar of Christ)
The Holy Spirit is the Pope. (The infallibel replacement of God on the Earth, God equal.).
That is why the Pope can set aside the word of God. The last, and all new revelations from God always comes through the pontiff. He is the lawgiver, the head of the cannon laws and all dogmas.
So when Protestants claim Catholics belive in the “Father, Son and Holy Spirit”, and must be accepted as Christians, they do not understand the substance of the Petrine theology of the Pope. The words and consepts we use have totally different meaning.
The Roman Catholic Church teach that the Pope share the infallible qualities of God. He is a god-man in the flesh. The cult of the Pope is not Christian, but a deadly copy-cat movement.

Again we agree. You do not need to phantom all mysteries about the papacy, to understand that the Pope is a deciever and an antichrist. Neither do you have to spoil every Christmas party, to prove your points.
I work among simple, gypsy Christians. They have never been to a Roman Catholic mass, nor a Lutheran Christmas party. They do not have to, to love and care for Jesus the Messiah. The true Christian faith is very simplictic. We hate idols, and we love our Lord. We desire to bless Him in our words and deeds.

My Bible says that the truth will be rejected, yet the truth must still be revealed even if the reader might be offended.
There will be people celebrating the Christ massacre this year without knowing it’s origins, they are not searching for the truth.
I used to get involved but never enjoyed the season, but being raised in a ‘Christian’ family I felt extremely guilty for not wanting to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
Then at age 48 something changed and a search for truth began.
Christmas goes back to ancient Persia and has it’s origins in Mithraism, Mithras was born on 25th December, the Persian sun god.
The universal (catholic) version of christianity imported it in and synvretised it with their pagan religion which in turn was christianized and today is widely accepted as christianity.
I struggle every year with my mothers determination to put the ‘Christ’ back into Christ mas(sacre).
I draw comfort from one of the parables Jesus gave us.
Where He describes Himself as the owner of a field (the world) He came and sowed truth in the world. Then went away (ascended to heaven) then a stranger came in (satan) and sowed tares (lies).
The parable goes on to teach that the tares are to be left in till the harvest where they will be gathered first and destroyed leaving the truth still standing.
We cannot remove the lies that have been sown in this world, we can identify them that’s all and leave people to make up their own mind.
It saddens me when professing Christians say that they know the festive season is not part of the faith once for all handed down to the saints, but still say they don’t care.
Ephesians 5
11 Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them;
I believe the above verse teaches that the traditions of men taught as doctrine should be exposed, not necessarily the individuals who taught them, but the doctrines themselves so that those who want to grow in understanding can.
I agree that their is a need for patience, that comes with the knowledge that most will carry on regardless with their traditions believing it to be truly what God desires.
Incidentally, I use the term ‘christ mas(sacre) because it was revealed to me after attending a midnight mass many years ago, what actually is going on.
At the same time all round the world the priest takes the ‘host’ which he teaches has by some ‘mystery’ become Christ, and they kill him all over again. They do it every Sunday too, but the midnight massacre is bigger because the attendance is higher.
Obviiously the wafer is not the real Christ, but those in attendance have no idea what they are involved in, but believe what they are doing is pleasing to God.
I will continue to speak the truth as that is what has to be done.

For the last few years my husband and I have known the truth about this day – not the truth about Santa or putting “Christ back in Christmas” – but the pagan origins of this day and unholy celebration. Sorry, I hope that my comments haven’t been a stumbling block to anyone reading.
About “Christ Massacre”, I understand this – again you’re right. The priest believes that he puts “Christ” to death as an unbloody sacrifice. It has even been stated in Catholic books that the priest is in a sense superior to the Lord because he offers the Lord as a sacrifice. This is blasphemy. Before I repented and trusted Jesus to save me from God’s wrath and sin and death, I was raised and educated a Catholic . Now it is my need to continue to keep separate from this holiday. I’m praying that I will hold the line. I could share more about this – several times I’ve blogged about Christmas – about not celebrating it and encouraging those who don’t celebrate it. I’ve also blogged against images of “Jesus” (another jesus) and misleading, disobedient films about Him.

We are all have much to learn.
Think of us all like the children of Israel leaving Egypt. They weren’t in a long row walking side by side. They were in a line in groups.
The ones at the front unaware of the experiences of the Ones at the back and the ones in the middle also going through their own difficulties but, all on the same journey.
Return to a parable to understand the difference.
The sower went forth to sow, the condition of the ground the seed lands on, dictates whether the seed grows to maturity and bears fruit.
The ground is people’s hearts. The seed is the word. Some receive the Word but nothing happens, they don’t start the journey. But just as natural seeds don’t germinate immediately so too the Word may take time to take root in a person.
The parable does explain all the different variations and you will come across examples as you walk.
This time of year has its challenges for those who are in this world but not of it.
It is written ‘all we, like sheep have gone astray’.
Remember some hear the Masters voice and respond, while others haven’t a clue they are lost – yet.
Alistair, thank you for taking the time to reply at length! I love the parable of the sower and the seed. This parable is so helpful in understanding what we see around us as you’ve said. Sometimes we can be afraid to see clearly because it can be frightening or convicting. May the Lord keep us on the narrow way by His love and grace!
Who cares what Catholics witnessed? That anyone should care what a catholic witnessed is a perversion of gospel right there. None of them were there to witness Jesus dying on the cross, the resurrection, etc. When the scriptures tell those people to go out in the world as witnesses, “First to the Jews then to the Gentiles”. They meant those who were in Jerusalem and were witnesses should go out in the world and spread the word of what they saw and heard. Because They didn’t have youtube in those days. But now everybody has heard, and they can find a bible in most any hotel room, thanks to the Gideon organization.
It’s a shell game of self importance that the pope is playing. Could anyone imagine the Pope ever saying that Christ doesn’t need Popes? And yes I agree with everything the article says about him trying to please everyone to form a one world religion with room for everyone, but send all the charity money to the pope for “redistribution”.

“First the Jew then the Gentile” means when the Apostles or disciples went out into the world to spread the news about Jesus they were instructed to go first to the Jewish synagogues,as. Jews were already spread out all over the world then. So the Apostles told the Jews all over the known world, some believed and some didn’t, they also told the Gentiles because the Gentiles were welcome in this new branch of Judaism. But the Jews who didn’t like that were so upset the were ready to kill over it. The Jews who don’t believe might say just about anything to discredit the Apostles. But the beginning of one book of the new testament describes it’s origin. A powerful Roman governor was interested in Christianity, so he sent somebody out to write down an account of what the Apostles were teaching. Luke 1:1 “Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us,” etc. If you were the servant of a powerful Roman Governor in those days you’d do your best to get the story straight.
Oh so now you believe the account of a ”powerful Roman governor’s no doubt uneducated servant’s account,which book in the new testament has this and you imply the Torah is a lie that pre new testament doesnt matter that the jew’s want to simply discredit the Apostles,no new testament conflicts with Torah teaching and cant we then reverse that as say Christian’s who dont believe might say just about anything to discredit Judaism ?
I don’t say the Torah is a lie. And I can see where a powerful Roman governor would have educated assistants. The difference is in one letter, the letter S. Was the Torah’s main focus the Messiah or all of the Jewish people. For instance the Apostle Peter points out that the promises were made to Abraham and his “seed” not seeds, meaning they were made to one man, the Messiah. Judaism would say they were made to his seeds, all the Jewish people, contrary to the Torah. How can we know who is right?
How sad that this evil man deceives billions of people!!
