UK Foreign Secretary Phillip Hammond insists Turkey will remain a “very important partner” for the UK, hours after it shot down a Russian war plane near the Syria border.
Britain’s foreign secretary, Philip Hammond, has accused a Labour MP of being an “apologist for Russian actions” after questions were raised in Parliament about Turkey’s reliability as a British ally.
PA reports the exchange:
Labour’s Dennis Skinner pressed Hammond for his views on Turkey’s role agains Islamic State following the incident. He also accused Turkey of buying oil from the terror group, “in order to prop them up”.
Hammond replied: “I see old habits die hard and you remain an apologist for Russian actions. On the question of Turkey, Turkey is an important Nato ally.
“It holds the key to a number of really very important questions, both in relation to the battle against Isil but also in relation to the migration challenge that Europe faces, and it will remain a very important partner for this country and for the European Union.”
Skinner had asked Hammond: “Do you regard Turkey as a reliable ally in the battle against Isil [Isis]?
“When you consider that not only today that they’ve shot down a Russian jet – who are also trying to fight Isil – they’re buying oil from Isil in order to prop them up, they’re bombing the Kurds who are also fighting Isil.
“This Syrian engagement is an almighty mess.”

My comment:
Over the years I have called Turkey a fifth column in NATO. After the radicalization of President Erdogan, it is even more important that NATO suspend Turkey’s membership.
After Putin stopped the immoral Turkish oil trade with ISI, this was the Turkish response. To shoot down a Russian war plan at the border between Syria and Turkey.
What else can you expect, from a supporter of Islamic terrorism?
This is the age of betrayals.
That the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom refuse to condemn Turkey, is a fruit of years of ignorance and denial. It looks like NATO will continue its policy of supporting Islamic Jihad. Just like they did in Libya, and have continued to do in Syria.
May Jesus the Messiah have mercy on all deceived souls. The majority of the people on Earth, are not prepared for His second coming. If they were, they would have surrender to His Lordship today. Be wise.

Clearly we know about war and rumours of war today.
Believers must ‘see that you are not troubled’ because it has to happen.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
I believe that many who have been deceived will be offended, those who speak the truth will be those referred to in verse 9, there will still be more who speak out but, there will be conflict among them, this will result in hate as in verse 10.
Sometimes after reading through the comments written on this site, we could easily be drawn down a path of hatred toward one another.
The Lord Jesus tells us that we should expect ‘many’ false prophets to rise, they will deceive many.
It is important to watch world events and the responses of government spokesmen and women to those events, because in these days the political leaders are having to respond rapidly to events as they arise.
Each believe they have a common enemy in IS, but none of the political leaders are aware that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has knonw the end from the beginning and spoke to us through His Son, the above words and many more so they are operating blind in their responses.
We should expect to see events like the above, just as we saw in the Iraq war and in Afghanistan where many fell victim to ‘friendly fire’.
What we also see, is verse 12 happening.
‘Because iniquity shall abound’
‘the love of many will wax cold’.
The acceptance of the gay agenda causes churches to change their doctrines to watered down meaningless religion, those who used to have an understanding of the Christian message are confused because they know what their Bible says, but their ministers are preaching something different, and they turn away.
‘But he that endures to the end, the same shall be saved’.
So, despite all that will happen, those who endure have hope.
And, the Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
When a person says ‘I was called to preach the gospel’ listen to the gospel they preach.
Then do what Paul advised, be like the Jews of Berea.
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
There is a scriptural explanation for world events and especially Mr Hammonds comments and thoughts.

I have said before a line that those who want to know the truth should memorise and call to mind.
All Jews are Israelites, but not all Israelites are Jews.
If we refuse to accept identities that can be proven through scripture, we refuse the truth, if we refuse the truth God tells us what He will do.
