“The Israeli government is reaping what it has sowed.”

Liberal American-Jewish commentator Peter Beinart gave a provocative speech on Wednesday, in which he said Israel essentially deserved the wave of Arab terrorism targeting its citizens.
Beinart – who despite his regular attacks on the Jewish state insists he is “pro-Israel” – was speaking at “Beth Chayim Chadashim Progressive synagogue in Los Angeles, which was set up as a “gay-friendly” congregation.
His comments were recorded approvingly by the anti-Israel Mondoweiss website.
“While we condemn Palestinian violence, we must recognize this painful truth: that Israeli policy has encouraged it,” Beinart told his audience. “Israel has encouraged it by penalizing Palestinian nonviolence, by responding to that nonviolence by deportations, teargas, imprisonment, and the confiscation of Palestinian lands. Hard as it is to say, the Israeli government is reaping what it has sowed.”
11 Israelis have been murdered and dozens more injured – many seriously – in a series of daily, primarily stabbing attacks, many of them targeting children and elderly citizens.

My comment:
Normally, I do not pay to much attention to the views of apostate Jews. But when one of the spokesman of the liberals in New York City say ‘Israel deserve terrorism” we should take notice. Because that is the view shared by the Ayatollah of Iran.
The Bible is full of examples of rebells among the tribes of Jacob, also called the house of Israel. Many of them faced judgments, and perished. Like the men in the Korah rebellion.
Numbers 16:32
and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and their households, and all those associated with Korah, together with their possessions.
Paul the Apostles had a deep sorrow for his own people in his heart. If they only could be saved, he was willing to be disconnected from the living God of Israel.
Romans 9:1-5
I speak the truth in Christ—I am not lying, my conscience confirms it through the Holy Spirit—I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my people, those of my own race, the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption to sonship; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises. Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.
We who love Israel must have the same burden for them, and be compassionate on the so called “self hating Jews”. Those who do not believe that the Mountains of Zion belongs to their own brethren, but rather to the forces of Islam. People who rebell against God of Israel, and refeuse to be gathered home to their own nation.
May the worlds most known Jew, Jesus the Messiah have mercy on all deceived souls, let them be Jews or gentiles. Amen.

*2 Timothy 3 *
*1* But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. *2* People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, *3* without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, *4* treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God– *5* having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. *6* They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, *7* always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. *8* Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth–men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. *9*But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone. *10* You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, *11* persecutions, sufferings–what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. *12* In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, *13* while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. *14* But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, *15* and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. *16* All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, *17* so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Can he keep personal believes to himself?
Dear martinezjosei
Shalom and love in Jesus.
Not possible. To ask people not to voice their opinions, will kill liberty and pluraiism. We must not pretend that all Jews do support Zionism. When they take side with the enemies of the state of Israel, we should come to know about it.
*PRIDE AND HUMILITY VERSES*
*1. Pride is a Sin and an Abomination*
1. *“A haughty look, a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked are sin.” (Proverbs 21:4 ) *
2. *“Everyone who is PROUD IN HEART IS AN ABOMINATION TO THE LORD; though they join forces, none will go unpunished.” (Proverbs 16:5 )*
*2 God is Afar From Those Who Are Proud*
*“Though the Lord is on high, yet He regards the lowly; but the proud He knows from afar.” (Psalm 138:6 )*
*3. Pride Will Come Before the Fall*
*The story of Satan in particular should also serve as a major history lesson for all of us on what can happen to someone if the spirit of pride gets too far ingrained into their heart and mindset.*
*If one of God’s highest created angels can literally fall from the top of a heavenly kingdom in the presence of God Almighty Himself – then anyone of us can fall in the exact same way if we do not stay on top of our walk with the Lord – especially in the area of our sanctification with the Lord where He is trying to mold, shape, and transform us into the express image of His Son Jesus Christ.*
These two verses in particular should be memorized by all Christians, as God the Father is giving all us a major revelation with the statements being made in both of these verses. Here they are:
1. *“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.” (Proverbs 16:18 ) *
2. *“Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, and before honor is humility.” (Proverbs 18:12 )*
*4 Let No One Glory in Men*
*“… that no flesh should glory in His presence.” (1 Corinthians 1:29 ) *
*“Therefore let no man glory in men …” (1 Corinthians 3:21 ) *
*“Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.” (Proverbs 3:7 ) *
*But “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends. (2 Corinthians 10:17 ) *
*Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord. (Jeremiah 9:23 )*
We should humble ourselves in the sight and under the mighty hand of God the Father. In other words, we all have to learn how to walk with a humble spirit and a humble mindset in our thoughts and in our actions towards ourselves, towards God, and towards all other people.
Here are 4 very good verses from the Lord giving us this piece of revelation:
1. *“Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (1 Peter 5:5 ) *
2. *“Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” (Phillipians 2:3) *
3. *“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” (James 4:10 ) *
4. *“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all of your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:6 )*
5. *“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth. Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.” (Proverbs 27:1 )*
