Islamic State committed over 1,000 attacks, killing nearly 3,000 people, in the last three months alone.
A major increase in violence by Islamic State saw over 1,000 attacks and nearly 3,000 deaths worldwide in the past three months, analysis firm IHS Jane’s said Thursday.
The figures show a 42-percent jump in daily attacks by the jihadist group, averaging 11.8 per day from July to September, up from 8.3 per day between April and June.
The figures suggest that air strikes by the US-led coalition have had only a limited impact on the group. The London-based analysis firm recorded 1,086 ISIS attacks, causing a total of 2,978 civilian and government fatalities – a huge 65.3 percent increase in the average daily killings by the group compared to the previous three months, and an 81 percent jump on one year earlier.
IHS Jane’s Terrorism and Insurgency Centre uses open sources to compile their database, and said ISIS likely carried out far more attacks that could not be verified.

My comment:
The forces of Islam has yet to achieve what Pentagon did in Afghanistan and Iraq. No serious international organization claim less than 150.000 dead Iraqi civilians during the Bush “war on terror”. Less reliable sources claim a million Muslims have died at the hand of western firearms since Novermber 2001.
Despite being the reason for mass murder of civilians in Iraq, Pentagon seems to have learned very little. When Obama came to power, the US-NATO lead coalition continued to add petrol to the conflicts in the Middle East. The radicalization of marginalized and persecuted muslims in the region, led to the formation of the Islamic state of Syria and the Levant (ISIL).
The most horrific US mistake was done in Tripoli, where NATO helped Islamic jihad to take over a full nation. The main reason for hundreds of thousands of refugees trying to get over the Mediterranean Sea and into Europe. The White House continued its destructive campaign, by trying to remove another Arabian government, this time in Damascus. To avoid the US-backed forces of Islam taking over Syria too, Russia has intervened to save the Basher al-Assad regime.
The Islamic response to the present carnage, is more violence, and more barbaric acts.
