Israel has mobilized 13 Border Police reservist companies to boost the security in Jerusalem.
In a bid to bolster security in light of the ongoing wave of Palestinian terrorism, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in consultation with Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan, ordered on Saturday the call-up of 13 Border Police reservist companies.
The reinforcements are an addition to the three reservist companies that were called up last week. The Border Police personnel will be deployed in Jerusalem. If necessary, some will be sent to other friction spots, such as Wadi Ara in northern Israel.
“The mobilization of forces will continue as necessary,” a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office said. “An increased presence is a primary preventive and deterrent measure.”
Netanyahu was scheduled to convene on Sunday a discussion on potential steps to take against the Islamic Movement in Israel. “The security establishment has in recent days, on instruction from the prime minister, formulated a series of actions against the Islamic Movement and the incitement that it is fomenting,” the Prime Minister’s Office statement said.

A couple of dozen of Arabs have been killed in the violent Islamic uprising inside Israel and inside the so-called Westbank. The Arabs lost their life bidding to kill Israeli civilians. Five Jews have died by the hands of armed Arabs.
By all standards, the Islamic uprising is still minor. No Muslims have so fare triggered suicide bombs.
The Israeli government is better prepared than ever, to face the violent sons of Muhammad. That the border police force has been mobilized to secure the population of Jerusalem, is a sign of strength. Israel is prepared for everything, also a full scale mobilization for a regional war in the Middle East.
