Syrian rebels trained by the United States gave some of their equipment to the al Qaeda-linked Nusra Front in exchange for safe passage, a U.S. military spokesman said on Friday. This is the latest blow to a troubled U.S. effort to train local partners to fight Islamic State militants.

The rebels surrendered six pick-up trucks and some ammunition, or about one-quarter of their issued equipment, to a suspected Nusra intermediary on Sept. 21-22 in exchange for safe passage, said Colonel Patrick Ryder, a spokesman for U.S. Central Command, in a statement.

“If accurate, the report of NSF members providing equipment to al Nusra Front is very concerning and a violation of Syria train and equip program guidelines,” Ryder said, using an acronym for the rebels, called the New Syrian Forces.

U.S. Central Command, which oversees U.S. military operations in the Middle East, was told of the equipment surrender around 1 p.m. on Friday, Ryder said. Earlier on Friday, Ryder had said all weapons and equipment issued to the rebels remained under their control.

My comment:

This is a confirmation of something that a lot of people have claimed since the joint NATO-Islamic Jihad operation i Libya. It is surely valuable to get this kind of arms swaps confirmed by the US Central command.

In one year, 500 million USD was waisted on training a handful Syrians. Most their gifted equipment is now in the hands of Islamic terrorists.

The question is what kind of punishment, the current political leadership in the US shall face. Will President Barack Hussein Obama eventually be impeached and removed from office?

The truth has to be spoken. Obama is a double faced hypocrite. He speaks about “peace” into American TV cameras, and the US public gets royally deceived. But as he enters his secret rooms of darkness, he gives orders to supply his Muslim brethren with weapons.  In particular those who are involved in the ongoing “holy war”.

The most grotesque example of treason, is Obamas supplies of 100 billion USD in assets to the Ayatollah regime. The very Islamic priesthood has thanked Obama for this gesture, by continuing to chant “death to America”.  The Pope, the Quartet and United Nations is all in alignment. Iran has to be branded as a suitable “peace partner”, who also chant “death of Israel”.

How could the US Congress whitewash their hands of this horrible crime?
