A “warm blob” in the northeast Pacific ocean — leave the ocean 2 degree C above normal.

Two new studies have just hit about the “warm blob” in the northeast Pacific ocean — a 2 degree C or more temperature anomaly that began in the winter of 2013-2014 in the Gulf of Alaska and later expanded. Scientists have been astonished at the extent and especially the long-lasting nature of the warmth, with one NOAA researcher saying, “when you see something like this that’s totally new you have opportunities to learn things you were never expecting.”
The Post’s Sarah Kaplan has covered some of the most immediate consequences of the “blob,” such as weird appearances of strange marine species more typical of warm water, like ocean sunfish, off the Alaskan coast. She also notes that the blob may be linked to the California drought and other odd weather phenomena.

My comment:
The perfect storm is approaching. We shall see havoc and apocalyptic events all over the planet.
When the Northern Pacific is two degree C above normal, the whole climate system gets off balance. The monsoon rain is failing India. As we entered August, there is an almost 20 per cent deficit.
On the other side of the Globe, California face severe drought . In the Northern Atlantic. Norway has seen its coldest July in two decades, and unseasonal rainstorms in August.
Matthew 16:1-3
The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven. He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red, and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times
– What can a man do to change the weather?
Absolutely nothing.
– Than what shall we do?
Those who read their Bibles, will be able to give you correct answers. If they submit to truth, they will continue to be enlightened by the Holy Spirit. Scriptures will be quoted in context, so that the blind can see.
The world will face global panic because of lawlessness and violence. But also the forces of nature are paving the way for the returning Messiah. All His creation will eventually submit to Him. Every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess before the Judgment throne.
If you shall escape the coming judgment, you must surrender your heart to the Son of God. Only He can rescue you from the coming wrath of God.
Be wise. Accept Jesus the Messiah as Lord and God today. Do not delay. You have no clue if you will wake up in your bed tomorrow morning.

Ivar, I live by a river that feeds into the Pacific in Oregon like I said before and it is very strange the water is very warm, it should be cold. This has very disastrous effects on the salmon which require cooler waters. I have not eaten any fish since the Japanese disaster. I wonder if any of this may have to do with the Japan disaster that is pouring radioactive water to this day into the ocean? They have found tuna in California that are radioactive. And like you said, we can do nothing about it but accept Jesus as our personal savior. The Bible says these things will happen. The first thing Jesus warned about was that many would come in His name saying they are Christ and will deceive many, then wars and rumors of wars, nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom, earthquakes, famines and troubles, these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24,Luke 21, mark 13, Luke 17:26-28 also says, “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man,”…. Blessings again to you Ivar!
Dear Nannette.
Shalom, and love in Jesus.
Yes, you are right. We are facing terrible times.
We must not forget there is a happy ending waiting for us. For all Bible belivers, all these horrific signs should do nothing but strengtening our faith. Troubles and tribulations should not have any impact on our rock solid relationship with Jesus the Messiah, our Lord.
Dear Nannette, Peace to you.
Revelation 8
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
The above is what is expected to happen in the future as the preceding events foretold in Revelation have yet to happen.
However, I wonder if you knew what the Ukrainian word ‘Chernobyl’ means in English.
Chernobyl translates to wormwood.
After the catastophic meltdown at Chernobyl the area was and still is radioactive.
As you know, since Fukushima there has been a continuos flow of radioactive water into the pacific. The Pacific appears to be becoming wormwood.
As I said above, I believe the prophecied event has yet to happen, but this potentially is part of the beginning of sorrows. Fish will die as a result of this abnormality, sea life depends on clean water, and man depends in part on the seas for his food supply.
The Lord Jesus foretells famine before the end, and that famine will be part of the ‘beginning of sorrows’.
Luke 21
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
We cannot stop events, however, we can be doers of the Word and the above offers us something to ‘do’.
James 1
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
God bless and watch over you and yours.
G-d bless you Ivar..I pray more people read their bibles , the time of this life is all but over and eternity is set before us all. Chose who you will serve today, because today is the day of Salvation..
Dear mama bear
Shalom, and love in Jesus.
Not reading the Bible, will lead to the failure in the upcomming exam. There is a battle going on between life and death. A serious issue.
James 1
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
The reader, ‘hears’ what they read as they read, but, some don’t notice and instruction, so they don’t become a doer.
As we read, we must look for words that give instruction and we should then ‘do’ what the Word asks us to do.
Once a few years ago I was seeking for answers to questions that had puzzled me for years. I approached those who were around to witness the same events and asked them. The events were not pleasant, but they needed to be revisited in order to get the answers.
One of the people I approached told be to ‘stop looking’.
And immediately in my mind the Lords words rang out.
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
You don’t stop asking, you simply look more diligently in other places, prayer works, doing nothing doesn’t.
Read your Bible yes, then ‘do’ what it tells you to do.
God bless and keep you.
Peace Ivar.

Jesus taught

“Scriptures will be quoted in context, so that the blind can see.”
And yet you quoted – out of context <atthew 16 verses 1 – 3.
1 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.
2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.
3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
The Lord Jesus Christ was nearing the end of His ministry here among man. The disciples had walked with Him.
John the Baptist had sent his followers to see what Jesus was doing when he was imprisoned. They reported back saying the blind see and the lame walk etc. They bore witness that the one John preceded and prepared the way for, had started work, John knew the signs to look for.
The Pharisees weren't willing to accept that Jesus was the prophesied "unto us a child is born" they wanted more.
They were in the presence of a unique person, not one of his generation survived the cull of infants by Herod, they should have known who He was, but they wanted more.
In context, Jesus told them that the only sign they would have was the sign of the Prophet Jonah, just as Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights, the Lord Jesus would be in Sheol for three days and three nights.
The Protestant churches teach like the Catholic church, a Christ who was crucified on Friday and resurrected sunrise Sunday. Their Christ was not in the grave for three days and three nights.
That is the context of the scripture you quoted, it was about Jesus dealing with His accusers and tormentors.
This does not detract from the original observation concerning abnormal temperatures in the Pacific.
What did Jesus teach?
Matthew 24 verses 3 to 8
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
There is around the Pacific tectonic faults, in recent times seismic activity has increased in this area, with increased seismic activity you get earthquakes which in turn can induce volcanic activity above and below water.
The correct interpretation of "divers places" is 'everywhere'.
Look again at what Jesus said
'but the end is not yet'.
'All these are just the beginning of sorrows'.
In the above, the Lord foretells famines. In order to have famine, there has to be drought or pestilence to limit the food supply.
California where much of Americas food is produced has had record drought. Not long ago, Texan beef producers had to decimate their herds because of drought, they could not feed the cattle.
We hear daily news of war and potential war.
Luke 21

My comment:
Your comment is out of context. This article is not about interpretation of scriptures. Nor about a demand for a miracle or wonder. But rather about people who think they can understand the unruly weather. Please read the article one more time, and see if you can catch my point.
Jesus told fellow Jews, they were pretty good in predicting the weather. And this was 2.000 years ago. But they did not understand the signs of the time. The signs that was made avalialbe as Jesus walked the Earth in flesh, was not about understanding that His second comming was close. But that the Messiah had appered in flesh.
Peace to you Ivar.
My response went on to comment on the topic.

The. Lord Jesus gave us a list of things to watch for. The warming of the Pacific most likely is caused by seismic activity, earthquakes in divers places.
God bless you and your readers.
Ivar, like you I believe the time is near for the Lord’s return, and that He told us that we should know the times, that it’s hypocrisy not to know them. But over the last few years I’ve come to see that the Book of Revelation was given to His Church as preparation for all of her history, from earliest days to His return, the Millennium and new heavens and new earth. I’m not here to argue this at all! But just to say that I still understand your work – very much so!
Seeing what man has done to the earth, at Chernobyl and Fukushima and elsewhere, this verse reveals the consequences of those who cause these horrors such as the warming sea:
Revelation 11:18
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
