Bible studies # 67: Jesus will deal with His enemies

Jesus knows better than you how to handle enemies. From the days of the flood, through the failures of Sodom to the final judgment.

Jesus came as the Lamb of God. He will return as the Lion of Judah.
Jesus came as the Lamb of God. He will return as the Lion of Judah.

The Bible says God is slow to anger. But He surly gets angry. Few people pay attention to the fact that Jesus the Messiah will return as the Lion of Judah.

The Lion is slow to anger, but is will roar. The Lion of Judah will bring judgment and punishment.

 Nahum 1:3

The LORD is slow to anger and great in power; the LORD will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet.

The first time God got angry He kicked Satan out of Heaven. One third of the angles had sided with the Devil, leading a rebellion.

It did not take long time before Satan crated trouble on the Earth. Adam and Eve was kicked out of the garden, because of their rebellion against the Word of God.

Man seems to have learned very little from his rebellious acts.  Just before the flood, God even regretted that He had made us.

 Genesis 6:5-7

The Lord saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.

The Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.

So the Lord said, “I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them.”

When Jesus had chosen for him self a people to be His very own, Satan and his children again started to create problems.

This time it was Abraham who faced opposition, when he tried to rescue the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. The problem Abraham faced what there was hardly a righteous man to find. Most of them had fallen into the sin and perversion of homosexuality.

Surely God acted, and send a calamity and destroyed the twin cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Also the prophet Joel explains that Jesus is slow to anger, but surely can send calamities.

 Joel 2:13

Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.

Even when Moses faced a rebellion in the desert, Jesus acted and dealt with the work of Satan.

 Numbers 16:32

and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them, with their households and all Korah’s men and all their possessions.

When the Jews rebelled against God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, they would face His angry response.

Twice Jesus sent the Jews into exile. He did not even spear His two Temples in Jerusalem. He let them be destroyed by wicked and violent men.

In 1948, Jesus re-birthed Israel. He gathered His people from all the nations where He had sent them, and helped them to rebuild the ruins in Zion.

Not all are willing to accept this. Even people who claims to be “Christians”. Neither do such people accept the validity of the eternal promises to the Jews, neither the nature and character of God of the Hebrews.

Replacement theology is not only based on an ideology that Jesus has deleted His eternal promises to the Jews.  Thousand of claimed to be priests and pastors claims that the Son of God has also changed His nature and character. Botch such teachings are based on gross errors.

These false teachers present God of the “Old Testament” as as angry God, who faded into history as a mythological failure.  Their “Christ” is only good to all.

Surely Jesus the Messiah will deal justly with such enemies of the truth.

In their thousands, such false teachers tries to convince us that there is a “new God” who appears in the New Covenant, also called the New Testament. After Jesus has died on the cross and resurrected, we are suppose to believe that God is no longer angry with those who rebel against Him.

The best example of the resurrected Jesus getting angry and pushing the children of Satan, is the handling of Ananias and Sapphira. Jesus used His Apostle Peter to punish them.

 Acts 5:5

When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died. And great fear seized all who heard what had happened.

Also other children of Satan faced the anger of Jesus.

 Acts 13:9-12

Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said,

“You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right!

You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?

Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind, and for a time you will be unable to see the light of the sun.”

Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand.  When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord.

The nations of today’s Generation, feel they live in safety, relaying on their own knowledge and strength. This is a fatal deception.

Jesus will deal with all the nations, and He dealt with the city of Nineveh.

  Nahum 3:1-6

Woe to the city of blood,
 full of lies,
full of plunder,
 never without victims!

The crack of whips,
 the clatter of wheels,
galloping horses
 and jolting chariots!
 Charging cavalry,
 flashing swords
 and glittering spears!

Many casualties,
 piles of dead,
 bodies without number,
 people stumbling over the corpses

—
all because of the wanton lust of a harlot,
 alluring, the mistress of sorceries,
who enslaved nations by her prostitution
 and peoples by her witchcraft.

I am against you,” declares the Lord Almighty.

“I will lift your skirts over your face.
I will show the nations your nakedness
 and the kingdoms your shame.

I will pelt you with filth,
I will treat you with contempt
 and make you a spectacle.

Judgment day is near.

Non of the godless and wicked will escape the wrath of God. He is surely slow to anger, but He will surly deal with the children of Satan.

You shall not deal with them.  You shall love all people enough to tell them the truth. Also those you consider to be your enemies.

Tell all men that the fire of Hell is prepared for all who has rebelled against the Word of God and have not accepted the Lordship of  The Son of God. The Kingdom of Heaven is the final destiny for all who have obeyed Him.

 Revelation 20-15

If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

There is only one way to escape eternal punishment and Hell.

You have to surrender to and obey Yeshua the Messiah. Only He can write your name into the book of life. Amen.

Be wise. Surrender today.

  1. The fear of eternal punishment has been erased by the accidental ape theory, the religion of evolution.

The lake of fire has been created for the devil and his angels (1/3rd
of the ancient astronauts that rebelled) who have reduced mankind to
accidental apes, (equal to other animals), through the religion of evolution. Based on a THEORY.? (absolute satanic genius)

Christ IS the absolute TRUTH that they deny, while teaching the accidental ape religion as FACT, even though the DNA repeats the carpenters words, “the very hairs of your head ARE ALL NUMBERED”. I believe he was speaking to our generation, knowing
that we would see that the visible is made from the invisible, and that the scriptures be fulfilled, “thinking themselves wise, they became fools.”

“The rich man opened his eyes in torment, in the heart of the earth.”

We have returned to “as it was in the days of Noah, even the stars
will be the same as Noah’s day. According to Tom Horn “David Flynn says of this: “The answer Jesus provided His apostles for ‘when’ the end of the aion would occur was specific. The astronomical signs in the heavens would be just as those during the
days of Noah when Leviathan encircled the horizon in the dawn of the Summer solstice. There could have been no more accurate comparison made between our present time than the age of Noah….The present aion is coming to a close. Like the sunteleia before, there will be great upheaval and change.”

  2. Let’s pray for these mega churches that claim they preach about Jesus but yet they produce no fruit instead they tell the people what they want to hear and not remind the congregation that we and them (pastors) are all sinners and we need a savior! Instead I see a lot (not all) living like kings and queens off their money(tithes) it’s amazing how many pastors who have forgotten that they them selves are sinners and in need of a savior and that salvation is by grace through faith and that it’s a GIFT- and that after we accept this gift, fruits of righteousness will follow. All you pastors out there need to wake up and ask yourselves is your calling and election true? Remember your responsible for these people! God be with you!

    1. Dear Prudent.

The pastors of the Mega Churches went astray in embracing the Church Grow Movemet. Let us reveal this Movement.

  3. “Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Hebrews 10:29-31.

It certainly will be a fearful thing, for anyone who has denied Christ and not accepted His death on the cross, in payment for their sins. God has been patience with us, not wanting any to perish, but as we can see it will be like the days of Noah, when he entered the Ark, and all the scoffers and mockers who he had been warning for 120 years, were swept away for their unbelief.

I truly believe in my heart that the end of the age is surely at hand.
And as the Apostle Paul said: ‘today is the day of your salvation.’ If anyone reading this has not repented and accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, now is the time. Tomorrow may be too late. God bless.

  4. Jabez, watch out for Tom Horn. Play close attention to the scripture (not using the Message Bible) and make sure it matches what he teaches. Acts 17:11 says, “Now these were more noble minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.” (N.A.S.B.) Please see: http//www.libertytothecaptives.net/tom horn critique.html.

    1. Great call Nannette!

Mr. H is nothing more than a cheap shill of the Devil….. We, as believer’s, need to be constantly vigilant, and always on the watch for these vermin, whom the “World” considers to be the “EXPERTS”…. God Bless You!

  5. The Spewer must practice the habit of thinking first and speaking later. As the Apostle James says Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. ref Thinking first and speaking later is a good habit to have in any case, for as Proverbs says, Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue ref .
