Rocket from Gaza fired into Israel

One rocket exploded near Gan Yavne, just east of Ashdod.

A Gazan rocket exploded in the Gan Yavne region, east of Ashdod on Tuesday evening, shattering four weeks of quiet and setting of air raid sirens in the Ashdod and Lakhish regions.‬‬

‪‪‪‪Apart from a 15-year-old girl who was taken to Barzilai Medical Center in Ashdod  suffering from a panic attack‬‬, the rocket failed to cause injuries, though emergency responders were still assessing on Tuesday whether the projectile had caused any damages.  ‬‬

On of my best friends in Israel is a soldier. He said that there will not be a war before “the sext sumer”.

” In the winter there is to much rain in Gaza. The terrorists say it’s simply to cold to fight”.

The Hamas and Israel needs each other as enemies. They are both ready for a new round of fighting. This new round will simply lead to nothing, but a maintenance of statues quo.

For the Hamas, in attack on Israel is a survival kit to avoid being assimilated into al-Fatah, or the PLO. Their powers in Gaza is built on a promise never to accept the state of Israel.

The government in Jerusalem have formulated a doctrine of “limited acceptance of terror”. As long as Hamas rule in Gaza, there can never be a two-state-solution. There are de-facto “two Palestines”. One in Gaza and one in Ramallah.

The former Foreign Affairs minister Avigdor Lieberman got tired of this cat and mouse game with the Hamas. He is correct when he claims that Benjamin Netanyahu will never remove the Hamas from power in Gaza. Simply because he has been told so by Netanyahu. I have to agree with the Prime Minister. We have to let the Hamas rule in Gaza. Because their removal will lead to a catastrophe for Israel. An enforcement of a nazi-styled two-state-solution.

It is getting hotter in the air over both Gaza and Tel Aviv. So expect another round of rocket fire….
