The Roman Catholic Church has secured its rights in “Palestine”, like access to “Holy places” of worship in East Jerusalem.
The agreement “aims to enhance the life and activities of the Catholic Church and its recognition at the judicial level,” said Monsignor Antoine Camilleri, the Vatican’s deputy foreign minister who led its six-person delegation in the talks.
The Vatican-Palestinian agreement recognizes freedom of religion in Palestine, and outlines the rights and obligations of the Church, its agencies, and its personnel in the territory.
The comprehensive agreement follows upon a “basic agreement” which was signed in February 2000.
But the bulk of the agreement regards freedom of religion and conscience, as well as the Church’s freedom of action, its staff and jurisdiction, legal status, places of worship, social and charitable activity, and use of communications media.

The Holy See has maintained relations with Palestinians since before 1948. On 11 February 1948, the Holy See created the office of Apostolic Delegate to Jerusalem and Palestine, with jurisdiction over Palestine, Transjordania (now Jordan), and Cyprus
Having reviewed the history and development of the relations between the Holy See and the Palestinian People, including the working contacts and the subsequent establishment – on October 26, 1994 – of official relations between the Holy See and the PLO.
The PLO and the “Holy see” singed a deal in the Vatican, fifteenth of February, 2000. Calling, therefore, for a special statute for Jerusalem, internationally guaranteed, which should safeguard the following:
a. Freedom of religion and conscience for all.
b. The equality before the law of the three monotheistic religions and their institutions and followers in the City.
c. The proper identity and sacred character of the City and its universally significant, religious and cultural heritage.
d. The Holy Places, the freedom of access to them and of worship in them.
e. The Regime of “Status Quo” in those Holy Places where it applies.
Article 5
The PLO recognizes the freedom of the Catholic Church to exercise her rights to carry out, through the necessary means, her functions and traditions, such as those that are spiritual, religious, moral, charitable, educational and cultural.Article 6
The PLO recognizes the rights of the Catholic Church in economic, legal and fiscal matters: these rights being exercised in harmony with the rights of the Palestinian Authorities in these fields.

My comment:
The Pope has always secured his position in relations to totalitarian regimes. Also those regimes who were antisemitic in nature, and were behind the Holocaust. Like the Pope’s deal with Mussolini in 1929. And a similar deal with the Nazi-party in Germany in 1933.
In regards to the PLO, this Arab terrorist organization is more like a tool for the Vatican. Rather than the opposite. When the Pope desire to appear like “an angel of light”, he use proxies to do his dirty work. Like using the PLO to get rid of the Zionist control of Jerusalem and the “Holy land”. So the Pope can enter the Temple Mount, and be hailed as the “Holy father” and “prince of Peace”. The very “Vicar of Christ”, the replacement for the Messiah on Earth.
He will attack the mightiest fortresses with the help of a foreign god and will greatly honor those who acknowledge him. He will make them rulers over many people and will distribute the land at a price.

This is the good old Nazi-styled antisemitism. The size of Israel is about the size of New Jersey in the US. And there are six millions Jews living there. The absolute majority of them are happy with the state they have, and do not seek any enlargement. That they are seeking for world dominion in a message from Satan.
