“O Mary, bright dawn of the new world, Mother of the living, to you do we entrust the cause of life”. Yesterday was the 20 years celebration of a prayer called for by late John Paul II in 1995.
The vigil for worldwide prayer for life will begin the afternoon of March 24 in the Basilica of Saint Mary Major before the Marian icon to which the Pope entrusts his travels, Salus Populi Romani, which means “Help of the People of Rome.” The vigil will have an especially Marian character.
The event will be divided into three stages: At 5:00 p.m. local time in Rome, a moment of reflection on some of the artistic elements of the basilica related to life will begin; then at 6:00 p.m. the recitation of the Rosary will begin, focusing on the Gospel passages connected with life, and interspersed with brief testimonies. At 7:00 p.m. the president of the Pontifical Council for the Family, Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, will celebrate the Eucharist.
The official announcement calls for similar vigils taking place in other parts of the world, such as the Marian shrines of Fatima, Lourdes, and Guadalupe.

This is what the Bible say about idols, and those who set aside the Word of God. Like the man of lawlessness in Rome:
Exodus 20: 4-6
“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

My comment:
When the Pope pray to “O Mary” and “entrust her the cause of life” he claims he elevates the departed soul of Jewish mortal woman. This is blasphemy against the Word of God. It is a grave sin to pray to the dead and to worship a mortal human being. We shall mot make idols of mortal men.
Why pray in any other name, when you can pray directly to Jesus the Messiah?
The Bible says that there is only one mediator between man and God, and that is Jesus the Messiah. True followers of God of the Bible do not pray in any other name.
1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.
The Roman Catholic Church is a deadly deception because the Vatican priesthood defame Jesus using His own name. The ultimate bid of Satan to use the name of “Christ” to make man do the devils will. To mock, ridicule and defame Jewish Miriam, who gave birth to the Messiah.
The Jewish mother of Jesus should be deeply respected by all Protestant Christians. We do respect her enough not to paganize her legacy, and to make her look like a goddess. We respect her enough, not to pray in her name, but to go directly to her Son. As she instructed the disciples during the wedding in Caana.
John 2:5
His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
We respect the mother of Jesus by telling others the truth about her. She was surely blessed among women, and all generations shall call her blessed. She was a sinner who offered a sin offering in the Temple in Jerusalem.
All who elevate this Jewish woman to the seat of a pagan goddess, drag her great legacy down into the mucky gutters. Shame on the Pope who never seems to be able to stop his filthy blasphemies, and his promotion of idolatry as “holiness”. Repent or perish.

This religion of “Mary” is likely THE “Whore of Babylon”. The Middle Eastern pagan “Mother Goddess” cult with its emphasis on reincarnation, will be expanded until it captures all “religious” people–Hindus, Buddhists, the mystical sects of Islam, apostate (Gnostic) Christians and (Kabalistic) Jews already believe in reincarnation. No one will be able to argue against it, once the Bible is removed with its warning of Hebrews 9:27, “And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this comes judgment…” Look for the Bible to eventually be banned as “hate literature”. Many already term it such because of its homosexuality prohibitions.
It should be remembered that the Whore of Babylon is utterly destroyed by Antichrist and his lieutenants (the Ten Kings). “She” will only serve a temporary purpose of unifying all religions into one (a return to the Tower of Babel) –and once “she” has served it, he and his henchmen will dispatch “her” (see Rev. 17:16).

How do you explain Revelation 11: 8
“And their bodies shall lie in the streets of the great city which is called spiritually, Sodom and Egypt: where their Lord also was crucified.
Here we are told the great city is Jerusalem where Jesus was crucified.

Here we have to totally different scriptures, that are explaining two different cities. The city of Rome, and the city of Jerusalem. Rome is the epic center of deception. The Pope has controlled kingdoms. Even today, 180 Ambassadors wine and dines in the courts of the Vatican.
The city of Jerusalem will one day be taken over by the last and final antichrist. His rule will be brief, and the city of David will be turned into a placed with widespread practices seens in Sodom and Egypt. The worship of a false Messiah, a claimed to be “god-man” who do not represent God of the Bible will be the ultimate idolatry.

There is no particular connection between the Whore of Babylon (Babylon is also called a “great city” in Rev. 18:10) and Jerusalem, other than the fact that, during the time of Jesus’ crucifixion, Jerusalem was overrun by heathenish Gentiles–i.e. pagan Rome. The reinstatement of the State of Israel in 1948 was the beginning of God’s rejection of Gentile rule over the Beautiful Land. The identification of Jerusalem as “Sodom and Egypt” is just a recognition that Judaism had long been in decay by the time of Jesus’ crucifixion. That is why He came–to call the children of Israel back to their Lord. God permitted Gentile subjugation of the Israelites to punish them for their unfaithfulness. The punishment had already been in place for 500 years before the time of Jesus (see Ezekiel 8 where there was idolatry right in the Temple!!) and the people had already been enslaved (“Egypt” refers to this) for five centuries by various empires for a long time before they were dominated by Rome.
Sorry, it was actually 600 years–not 500 years. The Northern Kingdom of Israel was destroyed first and then Judah was carried into captivity in Babylon in waves–with Ezekiel being deported to Babylon in 597 B.C. From there, Ezekiel preached messages of condemnation and mentions the degrading acts committed at the Temple (in Ezekiel chapter 8). After the Babylonians destroy Jerusalem and the Temple in 586 B.C. After that event, Ezekiel’s words change to ones of comfort as he envisages something of a restoration and a new Temple for the people. Interestingly, this Temple was never built when a remnant of Judah returned to Israel under Cyrus, the Persian. Instead, they got Zerubbabel’s Temple (later to become “Herod’s Temple”) that wasn’t even a good replacement for the Temple of Solomon. That places Ezekiel’s Temple (which is quite grand, if you look at the details in chapters 40-47) in the future. Those who are interested in building a new Temple (the so-called “Third Temple”) in Israel today, often refer to it as “Ezekiel’s Temple”. There used to be an online tool where you could take a virtual tour through this proposed Temple–haven’t seen it in a long time. It depicts a very splendid building.

1) Catholics do not worship Mary, this is an ignorant and widespread belief started hundreds of years ago by people who want to undermine the Church in order to gain support for their own beliefs. There is only one God. Ask any Catholic, read the catechism.
2) Re: do not make any graven images– does that mean tear down every statue in the whole world? Of course not. Even God told the Israelites to make images of angels on the Arc of the Covenant. What He meant was not to make graven images and worship them as false gods.
3) People who do not honor Mary break the commandment: Honor they Father and Mother—Mother is the Mary of Jesus, the head of the Body of Christ, and therefore we as members of the Body of Christ must honor her. So many protestants treat her so poorly, subhuman even.
4) If you do not want an “intermediary” between God and man, never ask anyone to pray for you, even yourself, as you yourself are not an intermediary. It is a silly interpretation of the word mediation, semantics. We can ask anyone to pray for us, especially those closest to God in heaven. There is only one Mediator, capital M. Otherwise, all middle managers (mediators) in the world should never pray? That’ silly. That’s too literal. We are all called to participate with God in his plan for salvation and not be lazy about it, never pray for anyone, just because of this literal and evil interpretation.
5) You show the pope kissing the statue as if you caught him “red handed” doing something bad. Have you ever kissed your wife’s or mother’s “graven” photograph? Oops, you just committed a grievous sin. Hockey players kiss the Stanley Cup–this is not worship, it’s respect and joy.
6) Re: “entrust the cause of life”…. you twist the pope’s words to make it look like we call her a goddess. Again, this is a prayer asking her to help us. Obviously our prayers are not efficacious enough because abortion is still here. Let’s ask for some help here! Yes, she was entrusted with caring for Jesus since conception. Christians believe Jesus was fully God and fully Human. So in heaven she has a special place close to God as Queen Mother, and so it is not far fetched to think she might be able to put a “good word” with Him. After all, she asked for his first miracle at Cana, a request from another at the wedding, yes, a mediator, small “m”.
7) You show skulls as if we pray to them. Wrong again. There is only one God. We venerate saints, not worship them. We ask for their help. The Body of Christ includes its members, its believers.
8) Protestants have no idea what to say. There are 40k protestant churches, all with different views. What is your view on abortion, for example? Says who? Catholics can say with authority the life begins at conception, because the authority comes straight from God. The Catholic Church has a line of succession going straight back to Peter, the way Jesus intended, one Church, not 40k. Let’s get together and not follow the evil one’s plan of division.
