Blessings for Hanukkah and Christmas

From 16th of 24th, the Jewish World will celebrate Hanukkah.  I will light candles, and pray that the Jews will embrace their Messiah.

Today is the start of the Jewish festival of lights. Let us bless our brothers and sisters.

In another three days, followers of Jesus will celebrate that their God and Master came in flesh. I will go into the Holiday modus, and keep on honoring Him.

There will be less articles on this blog in the following week

May Yeshua the Messiah bless you all.

  1. Dear Ivar,

Happy Hanukkah and thank you for another year of incomparably wonderful articles. Just as the Hanukkah candles give their light for eight nights in celebration of the miracle, you have been a light shining in dark places, exposing and foiling the plans of the enemy. May your rewards and crows be exceedingly great!

“He which testifies these things saith, ‘SURELY I COME QUICKLY’. AMEN. Even so, COME, LORD JESUS. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” (Rev. 22)

    1. Dear JM.

      Shalom.

There is not much about the festival of Hanukkah in the Bible. But in John 10:22, Jesus is confronted by some Jews during this festival.

Hanukkah symbolizes the faith in a King that will liberate the Jewish people from occupation and suppression. Hanukkah is the celebration of the victory of good over evil.

Jesus was asked is He had come to liberate Israel from Roman Occupation. There Jews were not interested in being liberated from their sins, to find peace with their creator.

I see Hanukkah in 1948. The process of liberating the Jewish people have begun. The King of King will return and save those who are wanting for Him. There are both Jews and gentile’s who believe in Him, and are waiting for His reign on Earth to begin.

Jesus in the King of the Jews. There is no need to look for another.

Behold: A man of Lawlessness will come as a “king” to Jerusalem, the last false Messiah. You can discern this “King” by His mode of transportation. He will come to Ben Gurion Airport, and might be flown in a helicopter to the Mount of Olives.

The King of Kings will return in the clouds of Heaven. he will be coming with an army of Angles, that will pick up the Children of God from all villages and cities on the face of the Earth. We will meet the incoming Lord in the air.

The King Messiah will make a touch down at the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.

Do not end up in the wrong camp, that will worship the wrong Messiah.

  2. A Merry & a happy holiday.
Your matter; has been an eye opener and inspirational to me. As I am surrounded densely by people of different faith. And I have to be extremely selective to forward it to others.
    Regards
    Ronnie

  3. Shalom Ivar,

It’s so good to see the Lighted Mennorah Picture you put up compared to the political and evil ones we see from time to time.

Be Blessed this Chanukah – for who knows what might happen on a Chanukah in the following years, for history is cyclical, it happened twice on the same day and it is likely to happen again.

For me history and future events are become so very important than all the ‘Latkes’ and other goodies that I have enjoyed in the past. Nevertheless, I wish you and your family “Chanukah Samayach” and that goes for all readers and commenters.

  4. Dear Ivar and all Christian readers,
May you have a blessed Christmas.
As we celebrate the first advent,
may your hearts be focused on Jesus
The author and finisher of our faith
    Peace to all.
To the Jewish, may you have blessed
    Hannukah season, and new year
