The end of the human race – that is what is in sight if we develop full artificial intelligence, according to Stephen Hawking.
Hawking has said this in an interview with the BBC.
But how imminent is the danger and if it is remote, do we still need to worry about the implications of ever smarter machines?
My question to Professor Hawking about artificial intelligence comes in the context of the work done by machine learning experts at the British firm Swiftkey, who have helped upgrade his communications system.
So I talk to Swiftkey’s co-founder and chief executive, Ben Medlock, a computer scientist with a Cambridge doctorate which focuses on how software can understand nuance in language.
Ben Medlock told me that Professor Hawking’s intervention should be welcomed by anyone working in artificial intelligence:
“It’s our responsibility to think about all of the consequences good and bad”, he told me. “
We’ve had the same debate about atomic power and nanotechnology. With any powerful technology there’s always the dialogue about how do you use it deliver the most benefit and how it can be used to deliver the most harm.”

All technology is not bad. Because it do not replace human beings. The communication system of Stephen Hawking is added value to what humans can do, a new tool for a human. Just like the tools of a dentist, or a moon rocket.
The BBC reporter seems not capable of understanding the latest message of Hawking. We eventuelly need to go to the scriptures to be enlightened about the final destination of mankind.
The Bible explains what a man is, in his fallen nature. Hell bound on doing evil. Now our elite, the most intelligent among us, develops technology that will quickly lead millions of people into unemployment. In the banking sector, travel agencies, etc.

In his fallen nature, man can only pollute and eventually bid to destroy God’s creation. Than includes the destruction of the human race it self. Like we are able to do, with the senseless invention of nuclear weapons. There has never been a more stubborn and stupid being walking on the face on the Earth, than falen man.
When men invents robots to replace men, they disqualify them selves from the work force. Making the work of men insufficient, or to costly for the profit making capitalists. The fall of mankind is not avoidable.
For a Christian, it is painful to see all the ungodly walking down the path to self destruction. Followers of the Jewish Messiah are aliens and strangers on Earth, following heavenly principles and displaying a divinely inspired moral code of conduct and divinly inspired values. Messianic’s do not put their trust in the World, but eagerly await our Master to return and save us from these evil days.
The so called “artificial intelligence” is a satanic bid to lead mankind into submission to a coming One World leader. You will not be able to work, earn money, buy and sell without worshiping him, his systems, his technology and his principles. The Bible explains that this man will be lawless, demeaning that God’s law and principles shall be set a side. This anti-Christ will elevate him self to the seat of God, and demand that all of mankind worship Him. There will be a numeric symbol that must be worshiped to achieve his favors.

with all the tech going on and being developed and so forth, if you study the relevant scriptures on end times man and events to get a general picture of “how man is” during the last times before Christ returns you’d come away with man is not partially bionic, robots aren’t roaming and working everywhere, man isn’t living on mars and more.
But given enough time and tech developing man would be living like that, so there aren’t enough years left to man’s development of tech for those things to come to fruition, or, the abomination that causes or brings desolation does just that, desolates the plans and directions of worldly man and the environment in which he lives, or both those things happen (my guess).
All that then leads to, what time is it in the timeline of God and in sending the Lord Jesus back to set up His physical rule and reign.
The only one said to have a clone/image made of himself (rev 13:14) is the anti-christ, so but if those events/end day’s were decades away many wealthy folks would have images of themselves made by then so they could relax and play will robo/bioimage did the work.
