Behind the walking staff with two serpents, the Pope and Patriarch Bartholomew pray for full union.
In a prayer gathering on the second day of Pope Francis’ visit to Turkey, Patriarch Bartholomew I welcomed him with joy, saying his presence is a symbolic “bridging” of the East and West.
“May these holy fathers, on whose teaching our common faith of the first millennium was founded, intercede for us to the Lord so that we may rediscover the full union of our Churches, thereby fulfilling His divine will in crucial times for humanity and the world,” Patriarch Bartholomew I said on Nov. 29.
Directed toward Pope Francis, the speech took place during an ecumenical prayer gathering held at the Orthodox cathedral of St. George in Istanbul, after which the Pope and the Patriarch held a private meeting.
Patriarch Bartholomew welcomed the Pope with “joy, honor and gratitude because you have deemed it proper to direct your steps from the Old Rome to the New Rome, symbolically bridging the West and the East through this movement.”
Pope Francis’ visit, the first since his election to the “throne that ‘presides in love,’” serves as a continuation of his predecessors, Bl. Paul VI, St. John Paul II and retired pontiff Benedict XVI, the patriarch observed.
He told the Pope that his visit “also bears witness to your own will and that of the most holy Church of Rome to maintain the fraternal and stable advance with the Orthodox Church for the restoration of full communion between our Churches.”
The patriarch cited the Pope’s arrival as a historical moment marked with “satisfaction and appreciation,” and noted how throughout time the cathedral has been and still is served by strong ecclesiastical figures who have “brightened” it alongside the many fathers of the universal Church.

I like this picture. Two men promise to set their differences aside, and walk in unity. One claim to be the “Holy Father”. The other walk around with a staff displaying that two serpents will be attacking the Earth.
The Bishop of Rome claim that Martin Luther created discord and division during the reformation. The truth is that Luther and the Church reformers took the Church out of darkness, when they rediscovered the Biblical evangelical faith in Jesus the Messiah. Hundreds of thousands of Germans accepted that a man can only be saved by Jesus, alone. And that the scripture, alone, is the Highest authority in all matters related to the Christian faith. Outside of these two doctrines, there can be no unity among people who claim to know and love “Christ”. People who claim otherwise sow discord, and accept the not Biblical dogmas of the Papacy.
For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
Anyhow: Why blame Luther? The Roman Catholic Church and the Greek Byzantine Orthodox Church had already split apart in division and discord 500 years earlier. One of the issues where who should be the head of the Church? A Bishop based in Italy, or a Bishop based in Constantinople? The second issue was the worship of Roman Catholic idols. The Church of the East refused to accepted the pope’s list of “saints”, and banned the production of sculptures of these men. The “Catholics” of the East made their own list of “saints”, and only worshiped paintings and images of these mortal men.
Both of these religious practices have its origin in Babylon, the global epiccenter of paganizm. All spiritual Babylonians will eventually unite.
And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
As we approach the age of serpent rule on Earth, Rome and todays Constantinople, the city of Istanbul, will again walk in unity. The book of Revelation explain that the harlots will return to their mother Church. Since all of them came out of Rome, they will also return to Rome. The Italian capital host the Vatican statehood, mystery Babylon that will be destroyed during the second coming of the Messiah.
For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.”

It seems that it is “full steam ahead” on the formation of the One World Religion. The Harlot is preparing to ride.

The profession of faith says:
“…We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial
one in Being with the Father…”
The Holy Scripture says:
“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
“Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
It is Interesting. Where do you think the creed came from? Please know your history. Any religion or person that preach division is of the evil one. No one is perfect, but God alone. So let the Holy Spirit promised to Peter work on mortal human beings and please please let us unite. If Christians are divided, then what makes us different from the growing evil of Islam. Think people, please do not bash any Christian faith but let us respect each other, but let us unite in the name of Jesus. Christ cannot be divided based on our self-esteem. I did not chose to be born a Catholic nor are you, but God alone. Only with Love, we can understand each other. The price of Love and Unity is the Cross, not the throne in a palace.

I think you have mirrorerd “God” and “Satan”. You expose that the devil is your Lord. Plenty of relevant scriptures expose your lack of spiritual knowledge.
Matthew 10:34-37

It is symptomtic for all who still serve the kingdom of Darkness, that they accuse Evangelical Christians to be “of the evil one”. There are plenty of evindence of the opposite. In particular Roman Catholic friars are the enemies of the truth. And your claims being a brilliant example to all of us.
There can never be unity outside of scriptual truth. The scripture, alone, is the highest authority in matters of the Christian faith. The Roman Catholic Church is a corrupt, apostate abomination on the face of the Earth, twisting the Word of God and being involved in all kinds of blasphemies.

This photo of two apostate leaders looking like they are in the throws of amorous activity is nauseating. To quote from the Urban Dictionary, “Get A Room.” It’s one thing to have two leaders respectfully greet each other, and I can even understand photos of men walking hand in hand in other countries as a cultural sign a friendship. But these two look like they are taking Revelation 17 literally:
“The kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” I assume this prophecy has both a literal and figurative meaning after looking at this picture.
The apostate church of Rome has switched into high gear deception because they know their days are numbered. False unity and false teaching are “kissing cousins” (*ahem*) and those who blindly follow man-made versions of The Truth swallow “food sacrificed to idols.” They will shortly reap the whirlwind of the harlot.

Well said Jonah. They do look like they are locked in a romantic passionate embrace that certainly looks disgusting. Well that’s exactly who they are as described in Rev. 17.
Re. the two serpent rod: – The Caduceus of Mercury (Roman) and the Karykeion of Hermes (Greek).
Many “medical” organisations use a symbol of a short rod entwined by two snakes and topped by a pair of wings, which is actually the caduceus or MAGIC WAND of the Greek god Hermes (Roman Mercury), messenger of the gods, inventor of (magical) incantations, conductor of the dead and protector of merchants and thieves. It is derived from the Greek karykeion = “herald’s staff”, itself based on the word “eruko” meaning restrain, control.
Of course, the whore sure knows how to control. However, I hope the Catholic folks ask themselves what has this serpent rod a demonic symbol got to do with the Savior of Israel who shed His precious blood on the cross, died and resurrected to save us all from the clutches of the “serpent” itself.
Dear Brother, Mark 9:38 says teaches us a lesson. Surely we see the rise of evil like IS and Bokko Haram, and other many evils. If the Catholic Church and the Eastern Church try to preach Jesus, let us not be divided. Divisions and comments like these are the fuel for the rise of secularism and evil. Let us unite in the name of Jesus and let us fight evils and other faith you know that is rising in the name of “allah.” If we are divided, then we are weak and we are only hurting the Jesus we say we love. Please let Christianity Flourish. If someone preaches the Jesus and does it in different way, we should be proud and not be jealous. Please love your neighbour. None of us are perfect.
While i do believe that it needs to be done in a productive and loving way, we are to correct when we see misteachings (1 Thess 5:21-22 among others). If we accept wrong then we are doing exactly what the catholic church is doing. One thing i enjoy educating others is the fact that christmas, like easter and sunday worship is straight from the roots of evil catholicism. They are not what the Bible teaches. But they are also sharing in Babylons misguidance of Christians. Remember Brother (Matt 10:34, Luke 12:51) Christ came to divide, not unite. The only unity Christ seeks is the unity in scriptural correctness (Isaiah 8:20).

Keep reading till verse 21. As for me, I certainly DO NOT want to be held responsible for anybody.
The Word of God is NOT LAW but INSTRUCTIONS for Humans on how to live our lives and to teach others to do the same so that ALL can have ETERNAL LIFE for God is loving, merciful even to the wicked and is waiting for their repentance but sadly majority of them are rebellious who will only see their end in hell. The Catholic religion has falsified the trinity, the God of Heaven and Earth. The words “Father” “Son” and “Holy Spirit” have all been given new meanings, according to the dogmas of the Vatican.
1. Rome do not accnowledge the “Father” to be God of the Torah. Rome claims that God of the Hebrews is a mytological figure, and the book of Genesis full of errors. “Father God” in the Old Testament (Torah and Tannakh) is portrayed as a vile and violent “god”, that was replaced by the mild and humble “Christ” of Rome.
2. “The son” is not the Jewish Messiah, if we belive the dogmas of Rome. “Christ of Rome” is the son of the pagan Queen of Heaven, the mother of God’s in plural. I including all kinds of mortal saints and madonnas, who have been canonized and made “holy” by the Pope.
3. The “Holy Spirit” can only be defined by the truth presented to us by the Pope. The Vatican claims that only the infallible Pope can lead us into all the truth.
In conclusion. The Roman Catholic religion is a deadly, mortal path towards destruction and eternity in Hell. All wise and God fearing human beings must search for the truth, and obey the truth.
