Benjamin Netanyahu will not permit Jews to pray at the Temple Mount, the holiest site of Judaism.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday promised not to change the status quo on the Temple Mount, under which Jews are forbidden from praying there, even though the mount has been “the holiest site” for Jews “ever since the time of our patriarch Abraham.”
Netanyahu — who also called for “responsibility and restraint” in responding to unrest in Jerusalem, and asked for his cabinet’s help in maintaining order — was speaking hours after Housing and Construction Minister Uri Ariel (Jewish Home) told a rally in Jerusalem that the status quo on the mount would change, and amid ongoing calls from right-wing MKS and activists to allow Jews to pray there.
One such key activist, Yehudah Glick, was shot four times and badly hurt in an assassination attempt by an alleged Palestinian gunman last Wednesday.
“What is necessary now is to calm the situation and to act with responsibility and restraint,” Netanyahu said at the start of the weekly cabinet meeting. “I think that what is necessary now is to show restraint and to work together to calm the situation… I also ask that private initiatives be avoided as well as unbridled statements.”
I have ordered massive reinforcements to be brought in and additional means to be used in order to ensure law and order in Israel’s capital,” said Netanyahu. “It could be that we are in a lengthy struggle; however, we are determined to succeed. We will certainly oppose all systematic and continuing attempts by Islamic extremist elements to stir up unrest. They would like to set a religious fire in Jerusalem and thereby ignite the entire Middle East. The place they are most determined on is the Temple Mount.”
Netanyahu promised to retain the status quo on the Temple Mount, allowing non-Muslims to ascend to the site but reserving prayer for Muslims only. “We are committed to the status quo for Jews, Muslims and Christians,” Netanyahu said, then emphasized the importance of the site for Jews. “Since the time of our patriarch Abraham, the Temple Mount has been the holiest site for our people. The Temple Mount is the most sensitive kilometer on earth. Alongside a strong insistence on our rights, we are determined to maintain the status quo…. These messages have been passed along as clearly as possible to Abu Mazen [Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas], as well as to all elements in the area and among us.”.

In response, Abbas issued rare if limited praise for Netanyahu.
In a statement issued by Abbas’s office, the PA president said Netanyahu was right to call for preserving the status quo, and termed his comments a “step in the right direction.” Abbas warned of the consequences of the “violation and provocations by the extremists that would lead to serious results in the entire region and ignite the instability in Palestine and the region.”

My comment:
All evangelical Christians should pay attention to what takes place on the Temple Mount. If your pastor is a sleeper, wake him up.
First: After the wail in the Temple was torn apart during the death and resurrection of the Messieh, God the Holy Spirit moved into the heart of every believer of Yeshua. From now onwards, the body of any believer is the Temple of the Holy Spirit. God do not reside in any building made by stone.
Second: The anti-Messiah movement, will fight over the Temple Mount. Because this is the site from where the last man of lawlessness will reign. His rule will be global, and he will be hailed by the multitudes. In fact every human being which name has not been written in the book of life.
2 Thessalonians 2:4 (7-8)
Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.
Third: It is a kneefal to wickedness, that all citizens of Israel are free to visit the Temple Mount, but a Jew is not permitted to say “glory to Elhoim. Amen” during the visit. For any evangelical Christian, it is obvious that it can never be wrong to pray from anywhere in the city of Jerusalem. Also on top of the Temple Mount. One day, the true Messiah will return to this site, and kill the last and final antichrist with the splendor of His second coming.
In conclusion:
Is is worth noticing that Benjamin Netanyahu has never been photographed at the Temple Mount.

Have he ever been on this site?
Is he the Prime Minister also over this area?
Or is there an International agreement signed, that gives the souvereignity to this place to another authority?
I support the Government of Israel’s full sovereignty over every inch of Jerusalem. Also every stone that is laid on top of the Temple Mount.
I defend every human beings right to pray on all public places, all over the World. Also on the Temple Mount.
I hope and pray that all men, will leave their rebellion behind, and summit to Yeshua the Messiah. Only in His name, a man can be saved from the wrath of God of the Bible. Judgement is coming. Please surrender to the Messiah today. He will return as the Lion of Judah.

My comment:
I agree. It is His city. But the men who live in Jerusalem, do not acknowlege Him. Because most of them reject salvation. They have no blood to offer. No remission for sins.
Religious people put their but up towards the dome of the rock. Regligious people have to pray in cetain directions, at cetain times, and at cetain places.
Forget about the sons of the devil, those who follow Muhammad. Lets talk about Jews and Christians, who turn towards religiousity, and reject the spirit of grace.
They rejecting that God is no longer an exclsuive God of the Jews, like in the day of the prophet Daniel. God the Holy Spirit is accessible from anywere in the World at any hour of the day. IF, and only IF, you accept the Lordship of Yeshua. There is no other name. There is no other blood.
Thus says the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that you build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
For all those things have my hand made, and those things have been, says the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word.
Isaiah 66
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in Truth.
John 4
Da 9:27 … In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.
“The Dome of the Rock is a shrine located on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem. It was initially completed in 691 CE at the order of Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Malik during the Second Fitna.”
The Muslims have already set up an abomination that causes desolation on the one spot of land where the glory of God remained for over 400 years. Everything about Satan’s religion is an abomination to the Sovereign LORD.
youngearth, think prayerfully on what Isaiah is saying in the comment above.
I think the abomination of desolation is the A-bomb-i-Nation of desolation already set up in the Holy Land. I also think Jerusalem is entering this prophecy of Christ Jesus, phase when mobs of Jews and Arabs roam the streets of Jerusalem, the City of God’s Peace, shouting Death to each other!
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kills the prophets, and stones them which are sent to you, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and you would not!
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
For I say to you, You shall not see me henceforth, till you shall say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.
Matthew 23
Dear ray032
Shalom, and love in Jesus.
You are right. The Jews are hated because they can neither accept Muhammad as a prophet, nor the Pope as “the Holy Father,”, a name for God of the Bible.
But the large majroity of Jews do still not accpet the truth. That the Messiah has come, died for their sins, and established a new covenant where the blood of the Messiah exclusivly saves people.
In the city of Jerusalem, Jews, Muslims and secular humanists, among them many claimed to be Christians, will target the true witnesses of the Messiah. Just read chapter 11 in the book of Revelation.
The Messianic Jews in Israel are already persecuted by their own Jewish brethren. And the remnant of God on the face of the Earth will face martyrdom at the hands of the anti-Christs in every nation. Also inside the post-Zionist state of Israel.
The Antichrist, of course, is Satan himself (2Thess 2:3)….coming to “rapture” people out of here! So stay in the “field” working and don’t be the first person taken (Mark 13).
