“The prayer to Our Lady must never be lacking, never! But when you come together, praise the Lord!”

The Pope addressed the Charismatic movement within the Roman Catholic Church. Here is the translation of the Pope’s address to members of the Catholic Fraternity of Charismatic Covenant Communities and Fellowships, on the occasion of their 16th International Conference on the theme: “Charismatic Praise and Adoration for a New Evangelization” (Rome, October 30-November 2, 2014).
Praise the Lord always, do not cease to do it; always praise Him more, incessantly. I was told about prayer groups in Charismatic Renewal in which the Rosary is recited together. The prayer to Our Lady must never be lacking, never! But when you come together, praise the Lord!

Spiritual ecumenism: to pray together and proclaim together that Jesus is the Lord and to intervene together in aid of the poor, in all their poverty. This must be done and we must not forget that today the blood of Jesus, shed by His many Christian martyrs in various parts of the world, challenges and drives us to unity. For the persecutors, we are not divided: we are not Lutherans, Orthodox, Evangelicals, Catholics. No! We are one! For the persecutors we are Christians! –nothing else matters. This is the ecumenism of blood lived today.
Share Baptism in the Holy Spirit with anyone in the Church. Spiritual ecumenism and ecumenism of blood. The unity of the Body of Christ. Prepare the Bride for the Bridegroom who comes! One Bride! All. (Revelation 22:17).

My comment:
When you meet a Charismatic Roman Catholic he will address you with “Praise the Lord”. I always respond: Which Lord?
Next I will proclaim: “Let us praise and honor Jesus, and never pray in any other name than His”.
Now is seems impossible to achieve unity with Roman Catholics. Because even the Pope will never cease to blaspheme God of the Bible in “the name of the Lord”. True Christians can not do that. To chant the “Hail Mary” has nothing to do with God of the Bible.
Matthew 6:7-8
And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
The Pope will demand that unity in “Christ” shall include chanting to the pagan Queen of Heaven, which was transformed by the Vatican into the “ever virgin Mary of Rome”. The Catholics will pray this pagan “hail Mary”, regardless of any objection. They do not fear God, and ignore that the Bible says there is only one mediator between man and God, and that is Jesus the Messiah.
1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.
There was nothing that made the Messiah more angry than people misusing the “name of the Lord”. Like hypocrites who defame, mock and twist the Word of God. They will face stern judgment on the day of His second coming. They will be handled with an iron rod, and thrown into the fire of Hell.
There can be no unity with hypocritical liars.
The mother of Jesus was surely a blessed woman, and every Christian will honor her legacy. But to pray in her name amounts to paganizem, and defame this Jewish woman.
Every Christian are called to share the gospel with members of the Roman Catholic religion. And to warn them that acceptance of Roman Catholic dogmas and instructions of the Pope, will take them down the broad road towards destruction.
Repent, or perish.
Do never again mock God by chanting the Rosary. Rather fellowship with Christians, where the name of Yeshua the Messiah is honored.

One must be careful to pray to and praise YHVH, the Father. Yeshua said that we could ask for things in His name, but nowhere in the Scriptures are we told by the Apostle to worship Yeshua, or to praise Him in place of YHVH. We are to thank the Father for sending a part of Himself into a tabernacle of flesh, to bow the knee to Yeshua as Messiah and King, yes…even to praise Him as the Son of G-d, but not to worship Yeshua.
In Bibles where the Name of G-d, YHVH is obscured by the word L-rd, or Adonai, people got into the habit of thinking that The Lord was Yeshua, yet in the Hebrew, YHVH’s name is there instead.
Yeshua is our L-rd, our Master, our King, but He is not YHVH the Father, and He would be the first to say so. He is a part of YHVH, voice and arm of power…the active principle of G-d in human form, and now transformed into Incorruption. Please, be careful to whom you pray and worship…Our Father…YHVH.
Do not split hairs Jesus is God the son therefore is worshiped as we Worship God the Father God the Holy Spirit
ONE GOD
Questor:
What are you talking about?
Are you part of some false Hebrew Roots sect trying to deceive with that pathetic post?
Of course true Christians worship Jesus:
There is nothing wrong with worshipping God the Father and Jesus Christ. In the verses that follow you will see that many worshiped Jesus when He was here on this earth.
Magi Worshiped Jesus. The first people who worshiped Jesus were the magi. They had come to Jerusalem looking for Jesus and they were directed to Bethlehem. Once they arrived, here is what they did.
And they came into the house and saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell down and worshiped Him. Matt. 2:11
Now was this a mistake by these men? The answer is no.
Disciples Worshiped Jesus. Even Jesus’ disciples worshiped Jesus.
And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “You are certainly God’s Son!” Matt. 14:33
And they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy and ran to report it to His disciples. And behold, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him. Matt. 28:8-9
Jesus’ disciples worshiped Jesus and He never told them to stop or that they had sinned. The first passage helps us understand how to worship. Worship is not just singing songs. Worship is giving honor to God with our lips. Worship is not just emotions. It is praise. It is giving glory to God.
All of Us Should Worship Him. So it is not surprising that the apostle Paul encourages us to worship Jesus in the book of Philippians.
. . . for we are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh . Philippians 3:3
Angels Worship Jesus. The angels worship Jesus too.
And when He again brings the first-born into the world, He says, “AND LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM.” Heb 1:6
Conclusion: If the disciples worshiped Jesus, if we are encouraged to worship Jesus, and if the angels have worshiped Jesus, then we can worship too! In fact, we worship God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit in our songs and when we speak or write things that give them honor. Holy, holy, Holy!

Nope, not Hebrew Roots…just aware of Yeshua’s extreme care to point prayer to YHVH, in His own name, just as He prayed to the Father, and taught us to do so. Some people pray to Yeshua in Yeshua’s name, and need to watch out for the error, that’s all.
I praise Yeshua for all that He did, and I thank YHVH for sending Him. And I pray to YHVH because Yeshua prayed to YHVH.
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name…YHVH.
Dear Questor
Shalom, and love in Yeshua.
I pray to Yeshua? Is there something wrong with me?
In the Norwegian language, it is difficult to pronounce “Y”es”. It will be like “Y-sua”. So i gladly also pray using the name that is used in 1 billion copies of the Bible, “Jesus”. I also know a lot of gypsis who call on God of the Bible in the name of “Yeshu Mesi”. Should thay also pray using four Hebrew letters set together, that 99 per cent of us find difficult to pronounce?
Not at all…our Saviour knows who is talking to Him, whether they call Him Yeshua, Yeshu, Yehoshua, Joshua, Jesu, Jesus, Iesous, Issa or any other translation of His name. I use Yeshua because that is what Joseph, Mary, his brothers and sisters all called Him, as did the Apostles. Us whatever name you feel most connect to. I use many versions of His name in speech, just so people will understand who I am talking about
As for using G-d’s name, YHVH, variously pronounced as Jehovah, Ye-ho-oo-ah, or Yahweh, the Scriptures state that we are to use G-d’s Name, particularly when we Bless people, so that people know which G-d we are talking about…the great I AM. I use Ye-ho-oo-ah as Josephus the historian mentioned in his history after the Temple was destroyed that the name of G-d was pronounced as 4 vowels, and his is the earliest description of how to pronounce the Name of G-d. It is a breathy sound, easily pronounced as you draw in your breath and let it out…so much like the pneuma…the breath of G-d that is the Holy Spirit. Ye-ho-oo-ah…breathe in on the Ye-, and exhale shaping your breath into ho-oo-ah. Or when speaking, it runs together a bit more as Yah-u-ah, or Yah-vah, since some people think they should pronounce the vav as a V sound, when it is used more as as a vowel in Hebrew than a consonant. Just pick the one you like and love to say, and meditate on…Abba will forgive us not knowing exactly how to say it.
Exodus 3:15 (CJB)
15 God said further to Moshe, “Say this to the people of Isra’el: ‘Yud-Heh-Vav-Heh (Je-ho-vah/Ye-ho-u-ah), the God of your fathers, the God of Avraham, the God of Yitz’chak and the God of Ya‘akov, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever; this is how I am to be remembered generation after generation.
Exodus 6:2-3 (KJV)
2 And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:
3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
Numbers 6:22-27 (CJB)
22 YHVH said to Moshe,
23 “Speak to Aharon and his sons, and tell them that this is how you are to bless the people of Isra’el: you are to say to them,
24 ‘Y’varekh’kha YHVH v’yishmerekha.
[May (Je-ho-vah/Ye-ho-u-ah), bless you and keep you.]
25 Ya’er YHVH panav eleikha vichunekka.
[May (Je-ho-vah/Ye-ho-u-ah), make his face shine on you
and show you his favor.]
26 Yissa YHVH panav eleikha v’yasem l’kha shalom.
[May (Je-ho-vah/Ye-ho-u-ah), I lift up his face toward you
and give you peace.]’
27 “In this way they are to put my name on the people of Isra’el, so that I will bless them.”
As for praying to Yeshua, we are able to ask Him directly for His help, and He will give it to us, as He is in the Father, and the Father is in Him, but it is specifically necessary to honor YHVH as Yeshua did. We are Yeshua’s disciples, and are to make ourselves as much like Him as possible, thinking His thoughts, speaking His words, and praying as He prayed. Being a disciple of the Master is to study Him, and then copy Him.
John 14:13-14 (CJB)
13 In fact, whatever you ask for in my name, I will do; so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If you ask me for something in my name, I will do it.
We are able to ask Yeshua to intervene for us with G-d that we might be forgiven in His righteousness, not having any of our own, but Yeshua said to pray to YHVH in His name, Yeshua, and G-d would hear us.
John 15:16 (CJB)
16 You did not choose me, I chose you; and I have commissioned you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last; so that whatever you ask from the Father in my name he may give you.
John 16:22-27 (CJB)
22 So you do indeed feel grief now, but I am going to see you again. Then your hearts will be full of joy, and no one will take your joy away from you.
23 “When that day comes, you won’t ask anything of me! Yes, indeed! I tell you that whatever you ask from the Father, he will give you in my name.
24 Till now you haven’t asked for anything in my name. Keep asking, and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.
25 “I have said these things to you with the help of illustrations; however, a time is coming when I will no longer speak indirectly but will talk about the Father in plain language.
26 When that day comes, you will ask in my name. I am not telling you that I will pray to the Father on your behalf,
27 for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God.
This was told to the Disciples before Yeshua’s death…once Yeshua arose from the grave, John 16:23 was in effect…to speak directly to G-d, in the name of Yeshua.
Yeshua is our High Priest forever, our mediator, our advocate, and our ombudsman, and one day He will be our Judge as well. He has redeemed us with His blood. He has and is every moment intervening between the Father and ourselves when we sin, His blood ever effective at washing us clean.
Because we are in Him, and He is in the Father, so too is the Father in Yeshua, and so in us…through the Holy Spirit. We are all one, and are able to speak directly to G-d without any intermediary, and ask for what we desire in the name and righteousness of Yeshua, for it is in Him we have our Righteousness, and thus the ability to approach G-d directly.
If we are asking for things that are good, and are in G-d’s will for us at that particular time, we will be given them. Some blessings are delayed from being granted because we have much more to learn to be able to receive them, and not sin.
Yeshua as the Son of the Father, gives place to His Father out of respect for His being our Creator, and Yeshua being only a part of Him – voice and right arm- prior to His being placed in a human body. Yeshua is of the same Divine nature and essence as YHVH is, but Yeshua is the Son, and treats His Father with all due respect.
Out of respect, and to be a true disciple to Yeshua, we too should pray to the Father, in the name of Yeshua, using G-d’s name in our prayers, for when we ask our Father Ye-ho-u-ah, saying, “My father Ye-ho-u-ah, blessed are you, Maker of all things, Creator of the Universe; give to me your Blessings of …., in the Name of your Son, our Redeemer Yeshua, and make me to be changed into what You, my Father, would have me be,”.
Questor:
What you are attempting to PONTIFICATE here is blasphemy. Sounds like some “Sacred Name” cult or a subgroup that formed including the Assemblies of Yahweh, the Assembly of Yahweh, the House of Yahweh, and Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry.
Do you also obey all 613 Old Testament laws?
Do you make sure you wrap yourself in a prayer shall before you pray and take a mikva’ot bath used for the purpose of ritual immersion?
Do you keep Kosher food laws, avoid pork and eating meat and milk together?
The Sacred Name Movement began with an unbiblical premise and has continued by building unbiblical doctrines on top of that premise. Our salvation is NOT dependent on our ability to properly pronounce God’s name in Hebrew. Our relationship with God is not based on our obedience to the Old Covenant that our Messiah perfectly fulfilled.
The Sacred Name Movement errs in many ways. But the primary error is the same as that of the Hebrew Roots Movement.
The Sacred Name Movement fails to understand that the Savior did not come to expand Judaism or the Old Covenant. The Savior came to fulfill the Old Covenant and establish the New Covenant. Messiah’s death and resurrection fulfilled the requirements of the Law and freed us from its demands (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:23-25; Ephesians 2:15). The Old Covenant was but a shadow (Hebrews 8). The New Covenant, established by our Savior/Messiah, is a fulfillment, not a continuation.
The particular focus of the Sacred Name Movement on the names of God and Jesus is UNBIBLICAL. The human authors of the Old and New Testaments, writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, had no qualms about referring to God as Elohim (Hebrew) and Theos (Greek) or referring to the Son as Iesous (Greek). If it is biblically appropriate to use generic terms to refer to God and to use a Greek version of Jesus’ name, why is it wrong, in English, to refer to the Heavenly Father as “God” and the Messiah as “Jesus”? Why would it be wrong to use the Chinese, Spanish, or Russian pronunciation and spelling of those names and titles?
Further, not even the adherents of the Sacred Name Movement can completely agree on what the sacred names actually are. While “Yahweh” and “Yahshua” are the most common, some propose “Yahvah,” “Yahwah,” “Yohwah,” or” Yahowah” for God and “Yeshua” or “Yahoshua” for Jesus. If there is only one non-blasphemous name each for God and Jesus, we better be sure to get it right. Yet adherents of the Sacred Name Movement cannot even agree on the very core of what their movement is supposed to be all about.

What is the Blasphemy you determine that I have committed? And please give your Biblical proofs of where I have erred.
Questor,
You said: Out of respect, and to be a true disciple to Yeshua, we too should pray to the Father, in the name of Yeshua, using G-d’s name in our prayers, for when we ask our Father Ye-ho-u-ah, saying, “My father Ye-ho-u-ah, blessed are you, Maker of all things, Creator of the Universe; give to me your Blessings of …., in the Name of your Son, our Redeemer Yeshua, and make me to be changed into what You, my Father, would have me be,”.
My Comment: I have called out and prayed to God. I have also called him and still do Jesus, Christ, Dios, and he’s answered me and has heard my prayers. So your comment about what you think we should call him to be a “true disciple” is false.
Romans 10
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”[e] 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Yeshua is indeed Lord (meaning Master, or Sir)…Son of G-d (a title that belongs to all anointed kings of Israel), Son of Man (a title that belongs only to the Messiah. Yeshua is Kinsman Redeemer, and Saviour to all who believe in Him, and call upon His name, as I have done.
Mark 12:35-36 (KJV)
35 And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?
36 For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.
This conversation originally started about people praying in the wrong way…primarily Catholics. I merely stated that all of us much be careful to recognize whom we are to pray to, and how.
I am simply differentiating between putting the Father before the Son in prayer, even as Matthew stated in differentiating between the difference in status and power of the Father and The Son, giving respect to YHVH by name, and praying in the Name of Yeshua.
Out of respect to our Creator, it seems to be the polite thing to do…to recognize YHVH as our source of all blessing, and that we Believers can approach the Throne of G-d boldly, in the name of Yeshua, because of our righteousness in Him, and receive loving kindness from Abba because of that righteousness.
Questor,
I do know who Yeshua is. His name is also Jesus, and Lord. In Spanish as well as other languages, he is called all three of these names and some others (like: My King.)
In John 10:30 Jesus says: “I and the Father are one.”
My point is when you cry out to God, with all humbleness and respect, he answers in a variety of ways of his choosing.
Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I have never heard of a dictated order, in which Jesus tells us we should pray.
1 Chronicles 16:11 Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
Psalms 4:1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: you have enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
Psalms 145:18 The LORD is near to all them that call on him, to all that call on him in truth.
Proverbs 15:29 The LORD is far from the wicked: but he hears the prayer of the righteous.
Matthew 7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Luke 6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
questor,
Reading your arguments going round and round about names, spellings, etc. is really a waste of time!! Its either you believe in the God of the Bible or not!
Now, to properly comment on the article: This probably covers all the reasons why I left the catholic church- the pope proclaiming to be the “vicar” of Christ on earth, the RCC clergy kissing the Koran and statues, saying praise the Lord but really referring to Mary, urging catholics to pray the rosary, the blasphemies go on and on! (Don’t get me wrong, I respect Mary and even look up to her as a role model for mothers and women, but I don’t pray TO her and she is NOT a god!) thank God (and I mean the one true God of the Bible, our Creator) that by His grace, I was able to get out of RCC and has accepted Jesus in my life as my only Savior! Jesus is the ONLY way to the Father and to our salvation! God bless!
Yeshua Jesus said to one of His diciples, Who do you say I AM…and he answered, MY L-rd and MY G-d…and once HE said…before Abraham I AM.. WE ask in HIS Name to show that we KNOW HE IS G-d. When HE comes back, it will be when they say, lbessed is HE in the Name of the L-rd.. like Imanuel with us…..
