Massive betrayal

Kenneth Copland and dozens of Charismatics lands in the Vatican. The Pope invited to Pentecostal Church in Italy.

Pope Francis became the first pope to make an official visit to a Pentecostal church, after he flew on Monday to speak at the Evangelical Church of Reconciliation in the southern city of Caserta, Italy.

The pontiff apologized for persecution of Pentecostals the Roman Catholic Church was involved with in the past, and reached out with friendship to evangelicals.

My comment:

The Bible do not promise us a massive end time revival, as false teachers in the global Pentecostal Charismatic movement do.

The Bible explains to us a about a massive falling away, and a betrayal of both true believers and the gospel.

 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

 Luke 21:16

You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death.

Durings the last year, the falling away in the Pentecostal sector of Christianity gained momentum. Many fellowships were struck by this slow and painful decease. In their dozens, Charismatic preachers of the prosperity gospel and Word of Faith heretics, started to hail the papacy.

For all who believe in the Bible, and stick to the lesson of the Reformation, this is surley time to rejoice. End time  prophecies are being fulfilled.

All these claimed “born agains” were obviously filled with a spirit. But this was not the Holy spirit, but rather a counterfeit from the deepest pits of the abyss.

As they continue to do their new age soakings, shaking, hauling and behaving in all kinds of abnormal ways. They are lead into the gross fatal compromise of an acceptance of the “Christ of Rome”.  What comes next is a walk down the path to death and destruction.

May Jesus the Messiah have mercy on all deceaced souls.

    1. Nice way to put it…can’t we just “get along”…from the get along gang…it doesn’t matter what these preachers do I’m sowing discord they have thousands who believe them …they don’t mean it the way it sounds or how they say it you (me) just don’t understand what they are trying to tell you. Babies need milk. I told them I have been s Minister for over 30 yesrs and if I need to stay on the Milk of the Word of God that that I may grow thereby then never give me meat for the false gospel these preachers preach no one will ever grow up they will die at like Jim Jones killed his fillowers right before the eyes of the world! And we can’t do a thing about it. They don’t believe us. Their eyes sre blinded, ttheir minds are sodden as an alcoholic …the Truth can’t get through to them. Pray pray pray. The old saying. …There but the grace of God go I. No place for boasting yet much room for weeping for the brethren, for Israel, Jerusalem, the City of the Great King Jesus the Messiah, and for the blinded who still have time to have thejr eyes opened among those who will be shut and hearts hardened among us thinking they do God a service serving these “get along”
      Christians.

  1. Of course the Pentecostals and Charismatics of the Dominionist persuasion would not balk at lining up with the the RCC (also of the Dominionist persuasion, through Augustine). Protestants martyred by the RCC through the centuries though, would be horrified at the thought of “reconciling” with the thieves and perverts resident in the Vatican. The RCC has never, to my knowledge, disavowed their teaching that “the Church” has replaced Israel. These Pentecostals and Charismatics have (perhaps unwittingly) betrayed the Jewish people in their hour of greatest need. The true Church, the Bride of Christ, will always stand with Israel as long as She is here. Our Lord Jesus would have it so. When the Bride is swept away by the Bridegroom, the Jewish people will have only God and His mighty angels to protect them–but that will always be enough. And He WILL protect Israel and give her the Kingdom He promised them so long ago. They are back in the Land now, albeit in unbelief, but that will be changing soon. The prophet Ezekiel wrote of these days and the events that may be upon us. “Even so, come Lord Jesus.” Maranatha!

  2. Well, it’s odd, but if you actually do some research you’ll find that Tony really didn’t die…oops, I didn’t say that did I, but then again, if he died on the 20th, and now we’re just hearing about the funeral, August 6, anyone wonder why it would take that long??

  3. Kenneth Copeland is a charlatan. I watched him and another guy on TV, they were doing an act reminiscent of dueling banjos, only it was dueling tongues. It was ridiculous, and as a Christian, frankly, it was embarrassing. So I’m not at all surprised at this latest act of treachery.

  4. Hi Ivar.

You seem to think that shaking, hauling (I think you mean howling) and soaking ??? (I thought you Baptists are into that 🙂 are all demonic symptoms, rather than an affect of the Holy Spirit.

Can you tell us all what spirit it was that put the prophet Daniel flat on his face? And if you feel forced to admit it was the Holy Spirit, don’t you think you a playing a dangerous game by leading your readership to believe these are signs of demonic activity?

    1. Dear Phil Mayo

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

Yes, I meant “howling”. Daniel fell flat on his face. He did not behave like an animal. I hope you have seen all the videos exposing the insanity at Toronto, when men like Kenneth Copeland and his team behave like dogs? Men who simuate sodomy on the floor?

Here is a video-clip of the insanity, called “drunk in the spirit”:

      1. Hi Ivar, Correct me if I’m wrong, but I can’t think of one instance where Yeshua, or Moses, two men of GOD who were definitely filled with the Holy Spirit acting in such a manner.  The only thing that I’m aware of is David dancing, not laughing, or staggering around like a drunkard.

      2. Dear Denise

        Shalom, and love in Jesus.

        Your comment:

The only thing that I’m aware of is David dancing, not laughing, or staggering around like a drunkard.

        My reply:

Denise. Do not forget: David did a lot of things that were not inspired by the Holy Spirit. Like murdering a man, to be able to steal his wife. One time David played drunk and raving mad. He did this because the was frighten.

Still, Jesus used him. The Holy Spirit worked through him, and the Bible says David was a man after God’s heart.

      3. David, like the rest of us flawed dust balls, had his faults, but “he had a heart after GOD’s own heart.” I often pray for HaShem to give me the same heart as David.

      4. Ivar,
I watched your video, but I didn’t see anyone simulating sodomy. I guess you will see what you want to see!

I didn’t feel comfortable with Toronto, or the need to do any of that. But neither did I feel the need to call what some believed to be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, “a demonic manifestation”.

The guy speaking at the beginning made a very good point when he quoted Acts 2:15. “For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day”.
The reason that was said could only be because they appeared to be drunk! So one of your accusations is straight in the bin.

2 Samuel 6:16 “As the ark of the Lord was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, she despised him in her heart.”
“Leaping and dancing” eh? Sounds like there was a whole lotta shakin goin on. And who is doing the despising now?

Matthew 12:31 “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men”.

Sometimes it’s wiser to stay silent!

      5. Even if you were right about the men in this video, no one was talking against the Holy Spirit.  David was  leaping and jumping for joy in the presence of the Lord, not engaging in mindless laughter, and falling all over the floor as though drunk.  Remember, he was accompanying the Ark of the Covenant at the time. We are supposed to have the power of discernment, we are not supposed to accept every spirit without testing it first.  By your standard we would be bound by silence and any spirit could then flourish.  It’s the same as people speaking in tongues, I’ve witnessed this plenty of times, when people start speaking gibberish, and no one is present that is able to stand up and interpret and thereby edify the congregation, which is what is supposed to happen.   I used to attend a little Messianic synagogue in Florida that was near a nursing home.  Both Jewish and Gentile patients would attend services there.  This is where I saw people worship like children.  They didn’t even consider whether they looked foolish they would just suddenly get up and dance, albeit slowly, and it was wonderful, no self consciousness at all.  That was worshiping in the spirit, it was directed to HaShem, not to show off to each other, in an effort to show off some anointing, one with no edification, no healing, no conversions, or prophesying, and frankly, I wasn’t able to discern any worship going on at all.  Tell me what other signs of the presence of the Holy Spirit were you able to discern?

      6. Dear Phil Mayo

        Shalom, and love in Jesus.

13 Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.”

13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, ‘They have had too much wine.’

        My comment:

Do not side with the mockers. The ungodly men could not understand the new languages spoken, and started to mock and demfame the belivers.

Peter the Apostle is crytal clear:

15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning!

They are NOT drunk. So all these Charismatics roaming around claiming to be “drunk in the Spirit”, are the sucessors of Haigin, Copeland, Hinn and the rest of the Word of Faith flock. They have the same anoiting. By laying of hands, the unclean spirit jumps over on you. DO NOT entertain such people.

The Bibel says that drunkeness is a sin.

        1 Peter 4:3
For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do – living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.

        (end of scripture).

        My comment:

Not indulged in sodomy?… Did you not see the men on the flood, acting like dogs? And simulating sodomy with each other?

      7. Deniseandros,

You said “I’ve witnessed this plenty of times, when people start speaking gibberish, and no one is present that is able to stand up and interpret and thereby edify the congregation, which is what is supposed to happen.”

        1 Cor 14 doesn’t agree with you…

“1Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. 2For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. 3But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort. 4Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church. 5I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified.”

There is a clear distinction made there, between “gibberish” as you call this gift of the Holy Spirit, and to prophesy, that requires an interpretation.

      8. Ivar,

You said “Not indulged in sodomy?… Did you not see the men on the flood, acting like dogs? And simulating sodomy with each other?

My reply: No I didn’t. And neither did you!

      9. Dear Phil Mayo

        Shalom, and love in Jesus.

        You wrote:

My reply: No I didn’t. And neither did you!

        My reply:

Please do not take this personal. Did you see these men down on the floor? What did they do? Please explain to me. In details.

      10. Ivar,

What I saw was men falling over each other in an undignified manor. I have seen similar scenes during Rugby games, American football, and wrestling. None of which would you describe as simulated sodomy. But here you are trying to convince your readership that all of this is demonic. So you see what you want to see!

But this is just another attack on Pentecostalism in general. Similar to what you have done in the past. And in doing so, you, like deniseandros, mock and ridicule people who seek and practice the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There’s really very little difference between you both, and those whom Peter was speaking to in Acts 2:15.

Having said that. I personally don’t feel comfortable with people rolling around of the floor, or looking like they are having an epileptic fit. As I said already in this thread: I didn’t feel comfortable with Toronto. But that might be due to my British reserve. So I won’t mock or accuse. And unlike the two of you, I certainly won’t allow the traditions of my church denomination to contradict scripture.

    2. Hi Ivar,
Hope you had a peaceful Shabbat. I slept through most of it, it was awesome!
I just watched this video clip and I agree with you, I too believe that this is demonic. Taking one verse from scripture as a justification for this exhibition is dangerous.
There are instances of outbursts of great joy and dancing during worship, like King David, when he was dancing while worshiping HaShem. However, he wasn’t falling down laughing at nothing and appearing drunk or unhinged. David was enjoying the presence of GOD.
There is a certain reverence for the Holy Spirit that was absent at this mindless, orgey of madness.

  5. These men appear to be mocking God rather than enjoying His presence among them. I suspect there was another spirit operating here–NOT the Holy Spirit. The usual reaction of individuals to being in God’s presence is wonder, awe and a sense of, and mourning over, one’s own sinfulness (see Isaiah’s reaction and his mourning over being a “man of unclean lips”). Yes David danced in celebration of the Ark’s arrival but I expect that he also shed tears of joy.

  6. hi ivar. thank you for the work you do. i realize “the world” has always hated Israel but it seems that lately the hatred has stepped up. especially here in u.s. ken copeland led me astray from the gospel of Jesus Christ 25 years ago. the danger is that it appeals to the flesh and takes one away from God. he is no Christian or pentcostal.

  7. satan is terrified of the baptism in and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. that is why he has worked so very hard to discredit them. using people like those at toronto “blessing” and money worshippers like copeland satan has cast much derision upon the wonderful and powerful Holy Spirit. God bless you. shalom.

    1. Hi John,

I am inclined to agree with you.
Satan’s attack comes from both ends. Those whose acts discredit the gifts, and the people who point to those acts as reason not to practice the gifts.

  8. “Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness. For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right. For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.”

    Jeremiah 23:9-11

Jeremiah had a direct encounter with Jesus Christ, and was experiencing this apparent “drunkenness” right in the midst of a tidal wave of false prophecy, which ocurred because a whole bunch of apostate ministers spoke the delusions of their own minds, and what their “dreams” told them…. This lying spirit was in the mouth of both priest and prophet. Jeremiah was commissioned to speak Gods word-even though the people were going to reject it, and this was going to put him under great pressure. Elijah faced a similar situation, as did Moses, Gideon and Micaiah, where the nation was bound up with idolatry, witchcraft and false prophecy, and the ministry of true righteousness whad been suppressed. There is nothing new under the sun-we are faced with a very similar scenario today. There is unprecedented levels of peer pressure to acquiesce to ecumental unity, and an “emergent” church theology, one that rejects Bible authority, one that replaces truth with lies, calls good evil and evil good, one that elevates man, and relegates the authentic place of Jesus Christ, one that embraces mysticism, humanism, and the papacy.

    1. I hope that you are not seriously attempting to pass this scripture off as a biblical proof texts validating the display that is seen in this video. There is a huge difference between being so shaken up that your ability to stand is compromised, and that of people contorting their faces and stumbling around like a bunch of out of control drunkards. Look at their facial expressions, there is no appearance of being awestruck. No worship.
There are instances throughout the bible when man has been in the presence of angels, not even the Holy Spirit, and they are described as “falling on their face as though dead.” Were they dead? No!
In the video no one is worshiping GOD, I certainly didn’t feel or see any presence of the Holy Spirit. I have shown the video to my boss who is a very strong believer and asked for her first impressions. She said that it looked ridiculous.

    2. Hi Chaircharacter,

An excellent use of scripture that proves the point. But don’t expect that to deter those who place their denominational traditions above scripture!

      1. I dont know what point it is supposed to prove other than that men can appear sometimes appear overcome when in the presence of Almighty God?
I posted it because I was reading that 23rd chapter last night and this morning, and it reminded me of this thread. I am not trying to create controversy.

I would say that since C1990 I was in many many charisdramatic services, all the big well known NAR names-but since 2012 I step away from that part of christendom. Why? Because I realised that the lust for power and manifestations was at the expense of sound Biblical teaching. The longer I persisted in it, the more I was being drawn away from prayer and Bible study (which were often seen as legalistic and old hat). And the spirit at work in many instances was that of manipulation, control, occultic, man centred. mystic and of confusion-ie jezebelI no longer have anything to do with house of prayer, although I still pray personally and with other believers

      2. Hi Chaircharacter

You said “I dont know what point it is supposed to prove other than that men can appear sometimes appear overcome when in the presence of Almighty God?”

My reply: That’s is exactly the point proved!

And because God wasn’t pleased with the woman who despised David for doing something she thought was undignified, and beneath someone of royalty, we should ALL examine our motivations before criticizing.

  9. It seems to me that 2 Peter 2 is a word for this. Some of them was one genuine belivers, but fall away to fullfil this chapter….

Keep your way narrow brothers and sisters……..check everthing like good Bereans (Acts 11:17)

Word for baptists: Please do not reject gifts on Holy Ghost (like tongues, prophecy, miracles, healing…) because of people like that. (MARK 16:8-20) Our Lord is same all the time. He said belivers will do even greater things than he. In a coming great deception and fake wonders&miracles, church of Living God aka body of Christ should be united in Holy Spirit and thirsty 4 gifts of spirit. Not rejecting them becouse man made doctrines and falling away peoples.

Please take it to Lord in prayer. Love in Lord

    1. Dear mido777

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

Some time back, I exlained the difference between a Baptist and a Pentecostal. There are some minor theolgical differenced between these demominations. I have for many years been a member of a Pentecostal Church. Still I consider my self to be more a Baptists, if you need to put me witin a smaller box.

      1. dear Ivar,

I consider you a brother. These denominations are man-made (Mark 9 :38-40). Only doctrines and teachings we should follow is Word of God. Period.

I have a strong feeling that baptists are robbed by Satan of some spiritual gifts. Pentacostal are on the other hand opened and careless (more prone to fall away and deamonic deception). Thats all. I write that not to put brother in a box, but in love 4 you.

And did you not read what i have posted???

p.s. my denomination is body of christ

    1. Collusion with the Pope or with any Islamic representative is spiritual treason. You cannot be for the antichrist system and against it at the same time. I believe that this is a clear example of being double minded.
