Israel was lead into a trap by the leftist government of Norway in the 1990-ties. Norway supported both the PLO and the Hamas.
As young AUF member, in 1971 Mr Bjorn Tore Godal, called for the destruction of Israel. He later become the Minster of Foreign Affairs in Norway, and Minister of Defense.
“The qualification for lasting peace must be that Israel cease to exist as a Jewish state”. (As quoted by Haakon Lie, former Secretary General of the Norwegian Labor Party, in his book: Slik Jeg Ser Det – As I See It – part II, p. 132.)
This destruction is what the Labor Party calls “peace”. Former Foreign Minister Bjorn Tore Godal was the leader of the same AUF that formulated this declaration, which shows obvious religious antagonism towards Judaism. Can we trust that Godal was neutral and clean of prejudice while he handled Israel under the Oslo Process?
The explanation to this question, is that Norway lead Israel into a political and military squeeze. The PLO was formed in 1964, with a charter to destroy Israel. The anti-Zionist in Norway agreed to help the PLO to establish its head quarter on Mountains of Zion. Therefor the charter of the PLO was changed. And the original vision of the PLO-charter was carried on by the Hamas from 1987 onwards.
Norway supported the PLO directly through the Oslo process, and the Hamas through funds rooted through the United Nations (UN). The strategy was to forces Israel to accept the PLO, or face the Jihad of the Hamas. This is called double-play. The best way to explains this is: An outright betrayal of the Jewish people.
