The Presbyterian Church (USA) on Friday became the most prominent religious group in the United States to endorse divestment as a protest against Israeli policies toward Palestinians, voting to sell church stock in three companies whose products Israel uses in the occupied territories.
The top Presbyterian legislative body has been considering divestment for a decade. Representatives of the Presbyterian socially responsible investment arm told the national meeting in Detroit that their efforts to lobby the three companies for change had failed.
The General Assembly voted by a razor-thin margin – 310-303 – to sell stock in Caterpillar, Hewlett-Packard and Motorola Solutions. Two years ago, the General Assembly rejected a similar divestment proposal by two votes.
The American Jewish Committee, a policy and advocacy group based in New York, said the vote was “driven by hatred of Israel.” But Heath Rada, moderator for the church meeting, said immediately after the vote that “in no way is this a reflection of our lack of love for our Jewish brothers and sisters.”
Rabbi Rick Jacobs, head of the liberal Union for Reform Judaism, which is the largest branch of American Judaism, addressed the delegates twice, urging them to vote against divestment.

Any Church, that has disconnected it self from Judaism, is a dead Church, and on its way to destruction.
To boycott Israel, is like pulling your finger right in to the apple of the eye of God of Israel.
If the Jews are no longer the chosen people of God, neither are the pagans who are supposed to have been grafted into the commonwealth of Israel, through the death and resurrection of the Messiah.

It is astounding to me that so-called “Christians” cannot see that they are turning their backs on Israel in what is coming to be her most desperate hour of need. The Palestinians goad and attack Israel and no one mentions THAT! And then when Israel retaliates against her enemies, these “Christian” hypocrites cry big crocodile tears and enact their feeble reprisals! Arghh!
They do this because; “they love not the truth but take pleasure in unrighteousness.” There is absolutely no way that they do this out of ignorance.

The Presbyterian’s outright deny Biblical truth. The mainlain Church is intoxicated with Roman Catholicism. The very idea that God is finished with Israel, and that the restoration of Israel is a political game.
In this way, we are told, we can be a part of the political game. Absolutely no problem if we boycott the state of Israel.

This morning I was watching Religion and Ethics. The Presbyterian Church has also voted to endorse and to perform homosexual weddings.
Yesterday I was reading an article from National Report which claims that a gay black football player, whose last name is Sam, is planning to marry his long term gay Italian boy friend, turned Muslim, in a White House Muslim wedding ceremony officiated by Obama.

Yes, people should stop “waiting” on a future return of Christ. His presence arrived almost two thousand years ago when he came in judgment upon the city of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.
