Israeli and Palestinian presidents to meet at Vatican on June 8.
Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will meet at the Vatican and pray for peace together at an unprecedented gathering on June 8, the Vatican said on Thursday.
In one of his boldest political gestures since his election in March, 2013, Pope Francis invited the two leaders to come to the Vatican and hold a joint prayer meeting with him during the pontiff’s trip to the Holy Land last week.
Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi said the two had accepted that the meeting would take place on a Sunday afternoon. That morning the pope will be presiding at a Pentacost Sunday service in St Peter’s Square.
The pope, who made the surprise invitation at the end of a Mass in Bethlehem last Saturday, told reporters on the plane returning to Rome that he was not getting directly involved in the stalled Mideast peace process, something he said would be “crazy on my part”.

What Roman Catholicism is all about, is a successful bid to change the substance of Biblical words. The true Messianic understanding is replaced. And most of the people on Earth resist the Holy Spirit, and walk into this deception.
The festival of “Pentecost” has absolutely nothing to do with interfaith prayers. It is all about the coming of the God of Israel to the Jewish people. First at Mount Horeb, were Moses received the Law. Later on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, where 3.000 Jews and proselytes to Judaism received God the Holy Spirit, and were baptized that day.
“Jesus” is not a Palestinian leader. But the Pope seems to be the representative of this false Messiah on the face of the Earth. His support for the PLO is fully known and in the open.
“A friend of Israel” is a person who resist Islam’s plan for peace in the Middle East, and stand united with the Jewish people in a liberated Jerusalem.
What we are facing is a global acceptance of the Pope as a Christian leader. The substance of what it means to be a “Christian” is replaced with “anti-Christianity”. The One World Region is rising. And as true prophets of the Lord has told for some time: The Vatican is the epicenter of this evil movement.
Do not support them, but rather expose them.

The coming of the reign of the final antichrist is on. And only the return of Yeshua the Messiah will end “the coming party”.

The Messiah will kill the last man of lawlessness with the breath and splendor of His coming. Amen.

Well, as usual the Catholics are wrong about every holy day, why should this be any different? Shavuot, otherwise known as Pentecost isn’t on June 8th, it begins just after sundown on June 3rd. Had they been celebrating the Lord’s Feast days, i.e., Passover, instead of pagan Easter, they would have known this.

I agree with you on the right or wrong date of Shavout (Pentecost). But, for me it is Pentecost every day.
What is more serious, is to re-brand, or change the substance of Pentecost, give this festival a truly New Age meaning. That is exactly what the Pope, Mahmoud Abbas and Shimon Peres is trying to do. This is pure blasphemy against God of the Bible. Lawless men coming together in the name of “god” to mock him, and defame the true faith.

The ecumenical movement is not of God of the Bible. It is all about friendship with the World. The prince of this World takes them down the road of compromises. If they do not repent, turn, they will face stern judgment.

What I do not understand is the blatant ignoring of John who says that the unrepentant Jews are the antichrist, fullstop. Why are we looking for the antichrhst when the Jews have been so for 2 thousand years? The pope will be quite at home amongst his fellow antichrists.

The Jews have become the enemy of the gospel, for your sake!….So that you could be saved. For this your should always be thankful to the Jewish people. You are holding a Jewish book in your hand, praying to God of the Hebrews. Claiming to have a Jews as your best friend, a Jew who were willing to die for your wickedness and sins on the cross in Jerusalem.
Paul the Apostle says the Jews are were sealous for thier God, the God of their forfathers. But their entusiasm is not based on knowledge. Because of their partly blindness, salvation has come to the gentiles. So be happy, and do not be arrogant. You are a wild branch, that has been grafted into the Jewish faith in God of Israel.
