Jerusalem belongs to Israel

Netanyahu: 47 years ago, Jerusalem was reunited– and that’s how it will stay.

The prime minister marked Jerusalem Day at the Mercaz Harav Yeshiva, where a terror attack took place in 2008; “We protect the heart of the nation. We will never divide our heart.”

In a ceremony at the Mercaz HaRav Yeshiva in Jerusalem on Tuesday, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu marked 47 years since Jerusalem’s reunification, saying that the nation’s capital will always stay united.

“Fourty-seven years ago, Jerusalem was reunified as a singular entity. That’s how it’s been and that’s how it will always be,” Netanyahu said.

“We are dedicated to the construction, development and prosperity of our capital, Jerusalem. We take care of the nation’s heart. We will never divide our heart,” the prime minister said.  “This is the heart of the nation and it must be united.”

My comment:

Just a day after the Pope left Jerusalem, the Prime Minister of Israel rebukes the Pontiff.

Israel is a sovereign nation, and Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. The city was liberated in 1967. It shall remain united, and not be divided.

The Pope spend his time trying to divide Jerusalem. The “Holy see” feel He is “god’s highest representative on the face of the Earth. The Pope feels the “Holy land” should come back under the jurisdiction of the Vatican, and the Pope be hailed as the “prince of peace”.

Eventually, it looks like Benjamin Netanyahu have been able to discern the Pope. When the head of the Roman Catholic religion left Tel Aviv, the Prime Minister of Israel had the following message to the Bishop of Rome: “You pray for us. We will pray for you”.

By resisting the Pope in such clear language, Netanyahu’s life might be in danger. Let us pray that the Mossad is able to protect the Prime Minister from any assassination bid from the “peace makers” supported by the papacy.

May Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah have mercy on the soul of Netanyahu. May he accept the Lordship of of the Messiah and be found inside the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen.

  1. The Lord God of Abraham Isack And Jackob always waits the decision of His people as to whether they obey His will or not.Nathanyahu is obeying The Lord and nothing could happen to him.The City of David should remain undivided.Anything contrary to it,the wrath of God shall pour the way what it has happend to Ariel Sharon.May The Lord strengthen Nathanyahu on his resolve.

  2. It seems that history is forgotten, or conveniently ignored. Jerusalem has been the capital of the United Kingdom of Israel then Judah for 3,000 years, since King David took it in battle. It has never been the capital of any other nation after that, and during the Ottoman Empire days, it was just a dusty old outpost, until Israel took it back in battle in 1967. Strangely though, it was also during this time that Berlin was also divided by the allies after WWII, and officially through force in 1961. The capital of the former Kingdom of Prussia was divided with walls and barriers by a despotic Bolshevik regime, and allowed by indifference by the Western allied powers. It seems that history is repeating itself, but this time around, God will not allow this travesty to happen quietly, and will inflict pain and sorrow on those that divide His land. God Bless Israel, and Shalom to you Ivar.

  3. Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) belongs to G-d. He placed His Name there.

    1 Kings 11:36; 2 Kings 21:4,7; 2 Chronicles 6:6, 2 Chronicles 33:4.

Also, conduct an Internet search and you’ll find pictures where the topography (terrain features) depict the Hebrew letter “shin” formed by the three valleys surrounding Mount Zion. The shin represents the first letter in one of G-d’s names.
