Bayit Yehudi will decide whether to stay in Netanyahu’s coalition based on content of Kerry’s framework agreement.
Economy Minister Naftali Bennett said Tuesday that his Bayit Yehudi party would leave Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s coalition in the event that the government accepts a framework deal with the Palestinians that is “not consistent with the faction’s principles.”
Speaking at the Jerusalem Conference, Bennett said, conversely, that if the framework agreement presented by US Secretary of State John Kerry was consistent with Bayit Yehudi’s principles he would back the prime minister.
Despite holding different opinions than coalition mates, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni (Hatnua), and Finance Minister Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid), Bennett stated, “We are serving Israel well in this coalition.” He said that it was at times a difficult coalition filled with paradoxes and conflicts.
After a week in which he criticized Kerry for saying Israel would face delegitimization and boycotts if the status quo were to continue, Bennett sounded a triumphant note on Tuesday, stating that, “I believe in our nation, when it rises well against threats, as it did this week against the boycott.”

Israel is approaching the post-Zionist age. And the new age is coming fast.
Benjamin Netanyahu will most likely surrender his Zionist convictions, and opt for “peace’ to please Washington. And the Religious nationalist movement will stand divided. Some will be ready to give up their life in Judea and Samaria, if offered proper compensation. Others will refuse to surrender Biblical Zionism. They will stay put and fight for their right to live on the mountains of Zion.
I support my Jewish brethren. They have their right to live in Judea and Samaria, and no one has the right to forced them to leave. But the Nazi-Islamic nexus will continue to rob Jews for their land, and keep on planning for the ultimate second Holocaust.
