Catholics bow and worship corpses and dummies

On of the biggest spiritual tragedies of mankind, is Roman Catholics worshiping corpses and skulls.

A Roman Catholic priest bow and pray in front of a corpse, and bring a curse down on his own head.

One of the claimed to be Madonnas who are shifted around from “Church” to “church”, is Maria Bernadette. “She” is sleeping, or rather a wax doll representing her is seen sleeping.

Is is rather bizarre that a Roman Catholic priest can bow his head before a corpse, and pray to the remains of a created being. To do the same in front of a doll, is nothing but a shameful copy of the Muppet Show.

The Bible explains, that man shall not bow before created beings, neither formed as a male nor female.  This is an abomination in front of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

 Deuteronomy 4:15-20

 Idolatry Forbidden

You saw no form of any kind the day the Lord spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire. Therefore watch yourselves very carefully, so that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves an idol, an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a woman, or like any animal on earth or any bird that flies in the air,  or like any creature that moves along the ground or any fish in the waters below. And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars —all the heavenly array —do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the Lord your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.

Why can people not read this and obey?

When you find your self in the eternal prison of Hell, you can not blame your priest for deceiving you.

You were simply not willing to find out for your self, and be saved by leaving this horrible idolatry behind.

The Roman Catholic priesthood provokes God to anger. When pesticide, sickness and untimely death strike this kind of God mockers, they curse God rather than being willing to repent. Many of them have been told the truth, but they close to live like hypocrites in total denial.

The remains of a dead nun is presented as “holy” and worthy of adoration and veneration.

It is not shocking, but rather sad. The Bible explains to us that large parts of mankind of the seed of Satan, whom they have made “Lord” of their life.

There are many examples of this worship of wood and stone. Her is yet another.

One of the sleeping wooden statues, is found in The Sacro Monte of Varallo in Italy.

This Roman Catholic idol is made of wood. But the dressed up face of plastic is presented for worship and adoration.

This is written on the site:

 THE BASILICA OF THE ASSUMPTION

the wooden statue of the sleeping Madonna, one of the oldest of Sacro Monte, and attributed to Gaudenzio Ferrari, and which today is preserved in the crypt, was brought from the church.

Why form a wooden plank to look like a doll, and dress “her” up like a princess for “Church” worship?

Only Satan takes pleasure in such abomination, blasphemy and wickedness.

    1. I suppose by your argument, then, the flora and fauna around you aren’t God’s creation. After six days God just sat down, turned on the boob tube and let his “creation” do it’s own thing…

      1. I guess, then, this scripture is meaningless:

        Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

      2. And actually, you’re incorrect. It’s not after six days He rested, it’s “so on the seventh day He rested from all His work”. You make no reference to what He does on the 8th day or the 9th and so on….continuing His work….

      1. What I meant to say is that we are not a direct creation of God such as Adam or Jesus was.

My comment was In response to this…”pray to the remains of a created being”.

In the scripture you cited it says God “knew” us and “set us apart” how do you extrapolate creation from that?

      2. ….What I meant to say is that we are not a direct creation of God such as Adam or Jesus was…..What the Sam Hill do you think we are a direct creation of >? The Jolly Green Giant?

  1. How can Catholics say that this is not idolatry! It reminds me of every picture of a pagan temple that I have ever seen. The idol would be the center of the temple and it would be flanked by some source of illumination or even lit from above by skylights. The ancient pagans would have totally approved of the way that this idol is “venerated”.. If there is no intent to worship, why the elaborate presentation?

  2. You really have no idea what you are blogging about. I would have thought you would actually do some research to find out what the Catechism of the Catholic Church says about the Communion of Saints (http://www.vatican.va/archive/ccc_css/archive/catechism/p123a9p5.htm)
This is more about your small minded opinion and much much less about the the truth and what you found in your research.
I feel terrible for you and anyone who actually reads this and believes your anti-catholic rhetoric.

    1. Ivarfjeld is not anti-Catholic, I have read enough of his blogs to know that he is always polite towards Catholics, etc., what is actually tragic is that you actually think that this sort of dolly and bone worship, and worship of cadavers is actually biblical…or acceptable.. It is a work of satan, and a deception.!!

      1. It really is sad the you know so little of the Catholic faith, yet you try to belittle it. I’ll pray for you.

    2. Elizabeth,

Glad you got a chance to read and reply at this site. I was born and raised in the Roman Church, although I was baptized and confirmed in the Byzantine Catholic Church. I know the Roman Church inside and out and was a High School CCD teacher for many years. My suggestion is for you to read the Gospel of John in its entirety from beginning to end with as little interruptions as possible. Pray for the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. If you believe God is real, then surely praying for His help and reading His Word should not be considered a danger to your faith.

Afterwards, then read the Letter to the Hebrews and study how the old sacrifices were just a reminder of sins every year. Note especially, that Jesus Christ was sacrificed “once and for all” and “But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God.” Hebrews 10:12.

It is very difficult to clear your mind of all the teaching pounded into the head for so many years, and only the Spirit of God can burst the gates of hell wide open. Let Jesus Christ’s one sacrifice be enough for your sins and stop thinking you need the Mass or that Christ must be sacrificed over and over a thousand times a day. I said a little prayer for you Elizabeth and really hope you will search and find the truth. AMEN.

      1. I have complete conference in the Holy Spirit, and if something was wrong in the Catholic Church, he would if corrected it. I am a revert and have no doubt, that the Catholic Church is what it says it is. You find the mass in the bible multiple times, and you only need to read the Church Fathers to realize the CC is the same today as it was yesterday. The gates if he’ll shall not prevail… but hell sure tries. Your aversion to Holy Mother Church is an example, you aren’t even aware if it. Diversity is Devine, devision is diabolical… So stop trying to divide and let’s come together as brothers and sisters in Christ.

      2. Dear Elisabeth.

        Shalom, and love in Jesus.

        My reply:

It is a gross mistake to blame God for all that is wrong in the Roman Catholic religion. Man is free to move away from the Word of God. Man is also free to mock and blaspheme against the Messiah. But there will be horrible consequences of such human foolishness.

      3. There’s no blame in my comment, sounds like you misunderstood me. I am not speaking of the people who are in the Catholic Church and what they do. I’m speaking of the teachings the doctrine and the tradition. If you read the post I was replying to, it may help to put into context.

        Blessings and prayers.

      4. Again, you misinterpret. There’s no blame on God, man sins through our own free will. I have no doubt that the Holy Spirit is and always will be with the Catholic Church. Founded by Christ in 33 AD

      5. Elizabeth,

You have not researched history enough to know how far the current Roman Catholic Church has separated itself from the early Church. If you had read Pope Gregory the Great and Pope Leo the Great you would know that todays popes would be classified as the Antichrist by those two popes, among others.

The current Pope, along with all popes from 600 AD have claimed to be above all other bishops and the single leader of the Roman Church. This was against the traditions of the first 600 years! You didn’t read Hebrews where Christ was sacrificed once for all and since our sins are forgiven there is no need for any further sacrifices. Yet the Roman Church performs what they think is a sacrifice 1000 times per day. If the single sacrifice of Christ is not sufficient you can bet any carnal priest, bishop, or pope can not improve on what God has called finished.

You have been warned and will face the judgment without any excuses. If you really think the Roman Church is following traditions of the early Church then read what Pope Gregory had top say:

“For what are all thy brethren, the bishops of the universal Church, but stars of heaven, whose life and discourse shine together amid the sins and errors of men, as if amid the shades of night? And when thou desirest to put thyself above them by this proud title [Universal Pope], and to tread down their name in comparison with thine, what else dost thou say but I will ascend into heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of heaven? Are not all the bishops together clouds, who both rain in the words of preaching, and glitter in the light of good works? And when your Fraternity despises them, and you would fain press them down under yourself, what else say you but what is said by the ancient foe, I will ascend above the heights of the clouds? All these things when I behold with tears, and tremble at the hidden judgments of God, my fears are increased, and my heart cannot contain its groans, for that this most holy man the lord John, of so great abstinence and humility, has, through the seduction of familiar tongues, broken out into such a pitch of pride as to attempt, in his coveting of that wrongful name, to be like him who, while proudly wishing to be like God, lost even the grace of the likeness granted him, and because he sought false glory, thereby forfeited true blessedness. Certainly Peter, the first of the apostles, himself a member of the holy and universal Church, Paul, Andrew, John,—what were they but heads of particular communities? And yet all were members under one Head. And (to bind all together in a short girth of speech) the saints before the law, the saints under the law, the saints under grace, all these making up the Lord’s Body, were constituted as members of the Church, and not one of them has wished himself to be called universal. Now let you Holiness acknowledge to what extent you swell within yourself in desiring to be called by that name by which no one presumed to be called who was truly holy.

Was it not the case, as your Fraternity knows, that the prelates of this Apostolic See, which by the providence of God I serve, had the honor offered them of being called universal by the venerable Council of Chalcedon. But yet no one of them has ever wished to be called by such a title, or seized upon this ill-advised name [Universal Pope], lest if, in virtue of the rank of pontificate, he took to himself the glory of singularity, he might seem to have denied it to all his brethren.”

This is a direct quote from the Epistle of St.Gregory the Great to John, Bishop of Constantinople.

Did you catch the part where the Apostle Peter all the way to Pope Gregory were never considered to be boss over the whole Church?
