When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here is a true Israelite, in whom there is nothing false.”
Who is a true Israeli? The Messiah had seen one in Nathanael. A Jew in whom there was nothing false. Not all Israelis got this kind of feedback from Jesus from Nazareth. Especially the rulers of Israel, many of the teachers of the law and the Pharisees received harsh words from the King of Kings. They had entered into falsehood, misunderstood the Law, and had put heavy burdens on the Jewish people.
